So intense I read it in one day!

I discovered Anna Travis’ amazing talent by reading the Milana series. When I saw she was starting a new one, I knew I had to try it too. Wow! My only complaint is that the first book was over too soon.

Travis is a masterful storyteller. Her characters are believable, endearingly flawed and compelling. She is expert at rolling out the facts gradually, as her point-of-view characters discover them, making plenty of false assumptions and innocent mistakes along the way. The alternate reality she weaves is fascinating, and she does a good job of sticking with her own rules.

Having met 20-year-old glitch, Mallory, and seen what she can do—especially the way she learns quickly relying on her observation skills and intuition, I can hardly wait to see where Travis takes her from here. If you enjoy romance, espionage, mystery, sci-fi, action m-adventure and fantasy all rolled into one, then this is a book for you!

I really like Anna Travis' stories, I even just finished re-reading her Milana series! This one is so different. Mallory is a travel blogger, but she is never allowed to show her picture or her mom's. Trouble is, she has trouble with her computer - all the time - and accidentally she uploads her mom's picture to the blog - and shortly after that her mom disappears and her home is invaded by a group who says they can help her find her mom. She also discovers that her problem with electronics isn't unique to this group - they are all Glitches!
This is a clean read.

Good Story

I really enjoyed the story! Was a fun read. Plenty of action with steady movement in the story. I didn’t find it boring. I will say that it could use some editing. A lot of the same words were used as descriptors and actions. The main character is always tapping her fingers together or tapping things. And the story could be a little smoother in transitions, with more explanation on some of the topics introduced. But overall I loved the concept. I enjoyed the characters. And I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.

From the first chapter, Mallory's adventures turn and twist at every moment. As she discovers a secret society of people who claim to be like her, she learns at a fast pace what she is capable of and how to use her skills to search for her missing mother. Quirky characters, a nutty squirrel, and friendships - or nemeses - formed, all combine to create senses of fun and humor in this action-packed and intense adventure. Highly recommend!

Loved reading this. I read this book a little while back. Loved the adventure and fantasy aspects. The characters are well developed, the hint of romance is much appreciated. This book is clean (Nothing innappropriate), but not boring and the second book it even better! Perfect for anyone like me who is looking for fantasy with mystery and a bit of romantic tension. I definitely enjoyed reading it. Fast paced and tons of action, but relaxing to sit back and just read.

This book takes you on such a fun adventure. When Malory gets kidnapped, she is left wondering what is happening. I really liked how they were trying to hunt down a relic, and it was cool being able to read about their journey. I also thought it was clever when they mentioned the Ark. So overall I loved the book, so you’ll definitely want to read it too!

Amazing read!

I was hooked from the first page! Fast-paced with lots of action and mystery. A locket that opens any locked door, blue algae that heals, and relics...well you will just have to read it yourself to find out about the relics!

great premise

Loved the first book. Very unique and not the same old storyline redone as so many do. Excited for the next one
