It’s amazing what one can find in strip clubs…

Josh Carter gets the shock of a lifetime when he shows up at a place of ill repute for a business meeting and sees the one that got away gyrating on the stage. Abigail Reese—the girl with so much potential, the girl that took his heart along with his body one night long ago—what brought her to this level?

Though stripping is not what Abigail set out to do, it’s putting food on the table and a roof over her daughter’s head. But just how much can she reveal to Josh without risking it all?

When Josh causes Abigail to lose her job, she has two choices: come clean about her past and her situation or push him out of her life as quick as he came into it. It’s up to her…only she has to think of her little girl too.

I LOVED this story!!! The only complaint would be that I did not want the story to end. Lacey Wolfe has a talent for getting the reader involved with the story & characters right away. Her characters are so real that we can all relate to them somehow.
Abigail is a single mom to a 4 year old little girl and has to work at a strip club just to be able to support her daughter. It is certainly not a job she enjoys but as with any parent, she will do anything for her daughter.
Josh is a very rich business man who sees Abigail again after not seeing her for 5 years. Even though they only had a one night stand, he has never been able to get Abigail off his mind. So, when they see each other again and he sees the struggles that she is going through, all he wants to do is make life easier for her. Abigail is a very independent person so she has a hard time "accepting" the help. She also fears what will happen when Josh finds out that Abigail's little girl is also his.
Josh is an amazing man who shows how much love he can give to Abigail and her little girl. The Naked Truth is honestly the most wonderful & heartwarming love story that I have read in quite a while.

It is a short story so it will not take long to read but it certainly will stay with the reader for a long time

Another amazing read by Lacey Wolfe!

Abigail is a single mom of a very sweet and smart 4 year old little girl. Because of a one night stand 5 years ago she is left to provide for herself and daughter alone. She works at a strip club and really doesn't like it but she is like most moms and will do what needs to be done.

Josh is in town for a mini vacation and hears where Abigail is working. He thought for sure she would be a big time lawyer by now. When he sees Abigail he knows he has to get her out of there. Even though he really doesn't know her except for that one night stand 5 years ago, she is someone that he has not been able to forget.

Abigail is very worried that Josh will find out that her daughter is also his and take her away. She wants to take things really slow with him but loves the lifestyle he has to offer them if she can open up and accept his help.

I can't say enough good things about this book or this author! This is a story that I can and will read again very soon!

Thank you Lacey Wolfe for the ARC! I am honored to have read this.

Let me preface this by saying, it is a short story. Many people have given short stories bad reviews because they are short. This one is perfect length and leave little to no questions about what happen.

Abigail, as it says in the synopsis, is a stripper. She has a daughter, Hailey, from a gentleman that was a one night stand. She works to make end meet and provide the best for her daughter. While she doesn't like her job, she is good at it.

Josh comes to town for business and ends up in the strip club that Abigail works at. He recognized Abigail as the one that got away and booked one on one time with her after.

What happens when Josh and Abigail meet again? What happens when Josh discovers Hailey? This brilliant story!

3.5 STARS

Josh and Abigail had a one night stand five years ago. Now, Abigail is a struggling single mother with a four year old daughter. Stripping is not what she loves, but it pays the bills, puts food on the table and a roof over her and her daughter's heads. Then one night at work, she is met with Josh again. Josh doesn't quite understand how Abigail ended up stripping & he's determined to get to the bottom of it. What he didn't expect to find was a daughter he never knew he had. With this knowledge, he's not walking away from his daughter and Abigail now that he has a chance at a family and will do anything to keep them by his side.

The Naked Truth was a solid read which I enjoyed for the most part. This is what I would call a 'feel good' romance as it doesn't involve heavy drama and angst. Rather, it's a sweet story about the reunion of two lovers finding their way back to one another. It's definitely a sweet little story with a pinch of sexy and a happily ever after.

Considering that this story is a novella, I thought that the characters were developed and I enjoyed spending time with them in this story. Hailey was adorable as any four year old would be and Josh and Abigail were likable characters.

However, I had a few problems while reading The Naked Truth. Although there were some sparks, I felt that the chemistry was lacking between Josh and Abigail. Another issue was the pacing of the story. I felt that the pacing of this story moved very fast. Although I enjoy fast-paced stories, The Naked Truth moved rapidly and with that I felt that it disrupted the flow of the story.

Despite those reasons, I still enjoyed The Naked Truth and thought that it was a solid & sweet read overall.

The Naked Truth is a cute, quick (novella length) read that is the perfect length for waiting for a doctor or an airplane.
Abigail and Josh had a one night stand 4 years ago after which she ran, she was a law student he was a billionaire, when the result of the wild night is a daughter Abigail it to afraid to tell Josh. When Josh find Abigail stripping at a club he has taken some clients to for a night out he can't believe its her, he has looked back on the night they shared with great fondness and didn't understand why she didn't stay.

This is a sort of modern day Cinderella story that is fun but not to deep, has one real sexy scene and is likely the secret fantasy of every single mom that strips for a living. The writing is done well, you get your happy ever after fix and is something that can be read in a short period of time. I felt it was a bit formulaic and being short it didn't allow for a whole lot of character development. This book is great if you want a feel good read with out the commitment of a longer book.

I received this book in exchange for my honest review.

A quick satisfying read, that’s exactly what this is. The author painted a heroine to care about, one that doesn't just fall over in love, but makes her hero earn his rights. The story moves fast too and it may be short, but Lacey didn't miss giving the story any of the plot points you’ll want.

It’s a contemporary romance and there is one scene in particular that I remember. It was hot and very well written. The hero gives us one line that just simply made me melt, you’ll have to read it to find it

If you need a quick sweet read, without the drama, than this contemporary romance is for you. It’s a solid 4-star read.

NOTE FROM SJ: The Naked Truth was provided to me for an honest and fair review

This was a super fun and not too serious read about the one that got away. The characters were likable and and the ending was filled with happy. The slightly predictable plot and short length made this novella perfect for a lazy afternoon. There was definitely some heat, but at it's heart, this is a sweet romance. I will definitely be reading more by Lacey.

This was a good fast read about two people that had a one night stand and are meeting again after four years. Josh seems too good to be true and Abigail is hiding a secret from Josh. Really enjoyable and cute story!

This was a nice quick read about a family finally coming together. The end was very sweet but the story itself jumped often, skipping small periods of time.
