Nightmare’s Child

Rate this book
His name was Blue and he knew certain knew the unspeakable horror of his mother's death, knew the lessons of survival learned from the desert's wild creatures. Then the whispering voice came. And he knew other things as that the taste of flesh and blood in his mouth was real; that the dark need that clutched his loins was the Devil's own sensual hunger.

Abused child ends up being abandoned and raised by a wolf which is possessed by a demon. Demon goes into boy making him a horny devil (pun intended). There is graphic sex and violence here.
Typical 80's pulp fun . Worth a read if you find it cheap.

As an 11 year old, the first time I read this I was undeniably traumatized by it. I have no idea why the public school jr high had this, but it ended up in my hands. I tried to remember the name for 17 years, before finally remembering the name.

I bought it right away on Abebooks. A few days after getting it, and I've finally reread it after all these years. It's still one of those books that leaves you feeling uncomfortable.

The ending is kind of abrupt, which was a little bit of a let down. It ended with potential for a sequel so I'll be searching to see if there ever was one.

I read this book as an impressionable youth. If there is such a thing as religion, you might become spiritually corrupted by the negative aspect of Zoroastrianism should you dare to open this novel's covers. There are some really raunchy, forcibly violent scenes, but who usually triumphs in the end?
