In these stories the dark wings that flap at the edges of our mind glide into focus. There is horror here, ghostly revenge and malice aforethought. They are meant to frighten.
I live on the south coast of England. I write short stories that might include vampires, ghosts, werewolves or the darker side of everyday life. Some stories feature contemporary themes: I enjoy pitting individuals against social and corporate institutions. I've written a thriller, The Russian White, set in Victorian London at the outbreak of hostilities with Russia in 1853. An iconic diamond is missing and Russian spies are everywhere.
I think my title says it all. It was okay, nothing spectacular and a bit odd. Lots of gratuitous violence and the villains were pretty one-note. That being said, I did read it to the end.
Just happened upon this collection and enjoyed all stories I will definitely seek out more. First time I have ever rated a book. I have read So many bad books lately That I wanted to share one I enjoyed
