I stumbled upon this book and I must say, it was absolutely fabulous. Rae is an amazing writer that captivates her audience until the very end. I couldn't put it down.. I have now read it twice as I wait for update from the sequel.
If you are looking for a steamy, hot , romance with lots of 🔥, twist and absolutely awe inspiring character thos is the book you need to read. There is so much within its pages.

BOOK REVIEW: SAVED BY A DARK BILLIONAIRE

He My Man, He My Boo, He My Type, He's So Cute...
Do you know that scene in Monster’s Inc. where they go through the machines to get cleaned and stripped away from all the human toxins, and their fur gets ripped right off? That’s how I felt when I reached the end of Rae Knight’s “Saved By A Dark Billionaire.” Okay, a bit dramatic, but this left me incredibly raw from emotions. There is so much packed in the hefty 535-page story, yet it is a page-turner.
Olive thinks the best way to get over somebody is to get under them and hooks up with Lucas one night. From there, they bump into each and find that they know someone in common, Leo. Leo is Lucas’ best friend and Olive’s college classmate-turned-friend. Not one to run away from a challenge, Lucas makes his intentions clear that he wants Olive, yet Leo does too.
I did enjoy Olive’s character. She had a challenging childhood. She has a contentious relationship with her father and struggles with her mother. But it carved out who she became. She’s a fighter in more ways than one—which I love about her. She stood up for herself but became protective over Lucas and Leo.
Love triangles pain me. However, “Saved By A Dark Billionaire” was more gentle about it. It would have pained me further if it were multiple POVs.
The story certainly had me on edge. The traumatic backstories these characters share and bond over are enraging one moment and incredibly sad the next. By the time I did get to the end, it was as if I cried for hours, but I didn’t. But I discovered that “Saved By A Dark Billionaire” will be part of a series with the other characters so I can put myself through these emotions again! That’s completely normal. Right?
I received a copy of this book for free and am leaving this review voluntarily.

"Saved By A Dark Billionaire" is a contemporary adult romance novel written by Rae Knight.
I'm writing this review immediately after finishing the book, and all I can think about is how much I need a Lucas in my life. He has captured my heart. I mean, the scene where he kisses Olive in front of her ex made my emotions go wild! He may have flaws, but so does every fictional character I fall in love with.
Olive is a remarkably strong female lead, both physically and as a character. She undergoes a tremendous character arc, and considering the vast plot of the book (spanning almost 500 pages), it not only takes us on a rollercoaster journey through Olive's love life but also delves into her family issues and her personal battles stemming from her past. While this book primarily falls under the romance genre, it offers much more depth and character growth.
As the author's debut novel, it is intense and emotionally charged. Although there are a few editing issues, the overall reading experience is enjoyable, especially if you're a fan of steamy and spicy content!
I am eagerly looking forward to reading the next book in the series because the ending of this book left me wondering what to expect next.

This book is what got me reading and hooked! I hated reading, so many things about reading pushed me further away from wanting to sit and read a book. But after falling ill and needing a new hobby, I thought I would give it a go. And now, at 38 years old, I'm addicted to reading, thanks to this book.
Everything about it got me hooked!

The MMC, Lucas, is a Playboy that's just out for a good time, and after a one night stand with Olive, their worlds Collide. But there is also another that wants a shot at Olives' heart, Lucas' best friend Leo.

Such an amazing author! I’ve read all of her books and am so proud of her for making it onto kindle. This books like all her other books is written beautifully. She brings each character to life through her writing! The little details she adds has you easily imagining every movement a character makes from brushing a piece of hair off of her face to punching someone in the throat. The way she describes each character appearance will have you dreaming of the sexy male/female leads (check out her Instagram where she’s posted AI images of all of the characters!) Her writing draws you into the book making you feel like you’re the main character; feeling their anger, love, embarrassment, hurt, lust as if they were your own emotions! Do yourself a favor and read this freaking book so that she can keep writing and add more books in the future! TRUST ME once you read one of her books you’re definitely going to want to read more ^_^

Op zich een vlot verhaal om te lezen alleen vond ik wel dat de relatie in het boek te snel ging. En ook dat er veel verschillende topics aan bod kwamen waardoor het een lang boek was om te lezen. Op sommige momenten vond ik het daardoor wat saaier om te lezen maar op andere momenten ging het goed vooruit. Het enige wat mij echt stoorde was dat er regelmatig schrijffouten in het boek stonden. Deze schrijffouten zorgde er op momenten ook voor dat het verhaal moeilijker te volgen was. Maar ik kijk er zeker en vast naar uit om andere verhalen van deze auteur te lezen.

Loved it. The book covered a lot of important issues that you don’t get to see in other stories. Mental health. Domestic violence. Even men going through abuse/ rap*. Drama part was great and I loved that liv grew up stronger and fought her demons. The steamy scenes In this book 🫠🥵🥵 very well done. Great book. Highly recommend

This is a book genre that I have never explored before. I was hesitant but I haven't been this addicted and this excited for a new book in years. I read this every spare moment I had. Staying up until the early hours and losing time. 4 or 5 days and I'm done. I'm in love, heart broken, excited, steamy and sad. Sad that it's over but so greatful that I got to live the life of olive, leo, lucas, Hailey, ian, everyone. Even for a little bit.

What a good book!
I so slept on this author. I saw this book months ago. Look at the sample and never gave it a chance. What is wrong with me? This book was everthing! Lucas was the man. And I enjoyed learning Olives journey. It had me finished in a day. Loved it! What else has this author written? I'm checking it out now.

A light hearted, and a cure for any book hangover. I started reading this on Still Novel and realized I could actually buy it! I know what an “ah haaa” moment!
A book about staying true to who you are and no matter what it works out exactly how it is supposed to especially when you least expect it! No matter how much grief and coping with the past.
The romance is exciting, spicy and love is always possible.

First in the series and starts off with a bang. This is a very emotional read. There are so many different moments in this book that have you feeling exactly what Lucas and Olive (Rose) are feeling. One big one is when Olive finds out about her mom. That one broke my heart.
Lucas and Rose are opposites with so much intense chemistry. Opposites definitely do attract to each other. Olive is from the completely different side of the tracks. Lucas is fighting for his life but in a totally different way but one night and that is completely it for them both.
Olive is a very strong woman who will not take anything laying down. She fights dearly for her life and her happiness. Lucas is there to stand beside her and help her no matter what.
This was a great introduction to this series, and I can't wait to see what happens with these two and all of the characters that are involved. I loved every character and how they were introduced
I loved how we entered the story, it was amazing!
I would have loved it more if an editor had ran thru it since i had trouble following sometimes when the names were mixed up and I didn’t know who was talking anymore. If an editor ran thru it, i would read it again.

not what I was expecting!
The intertwined journeys that both Olive and Lucas take in this book are inspiring. Olive is a badass. I love that the author makes us see that olive doesn’t need any man to take care of her but that Lucas is just SUPPORTING her own strength. So good.

I really wanted to love this book!
But I struggled with the last 30% and was a lot of times about to give up on it.. I think it could easily have been 200 pages shorter without it messing up the whole story!
I liked the storyline but I think that was a lot of things that was unnecessary !

So much information in one book. I wish this story could go on forever. I felt like I was there watching everything unravel with my own eyes. I love this and I will definitely re-read this again.

Excellent book! I loved it. Well written and suspenseful. Many twists and turns. A story that wil make you laughing one minute and grabbing tissues the next.

I went into this not knowing how I would feel, hoping that it would have the ending I so desperately wanted for Olive.
Olive has had to be strong for so long, had such a hard past and all I wanted was for her to have a HEA. I was not disappointed with the ending of this book and honestly I want more Olive.
