Counting this towards my reading challenge as an ego-boost to myself; in all honesty a lot of me "reading" this book was just me looking at the pictures. I guess I would say this book is good, since it taught me math for my wildly expensive online math course. Indeed, I wish I had simply bought the book and read (or looked at the pictures in) it, rather than paid for the entire course, which was formatted along the lines of "read this book, do the exercises in it, and then complete online assignments and quizzes based on what you learned in the book, for a grade" (there was a prof but he did not interact with us and in fact I do not know how to pronounce his last name). So, in short, if you read this book cover to cover and do some of the exercises, you will learn just as much math as a very expensive course at an accredited university, and for much, much cheaper.
