Here we have a collection of twenty six short stories from Scott Thomas, who deftly handles writing with the Victorian flair. Taking place in England and Massachusetts around the turn of the eighteenth and nineteenth century, are haunting, dark, vampiric, tales of death, lost souls and lost loves. Thomas captures the reader with his character driven plots and atmospheric descriptions. A great collection to be read without disappointment.
