Cute rewrite of the Princess and the Pea. Fun for kids to lift up actual fabric swatches to see what's under the mattress

In this book, the Queen puts Princess Polly to the test to see if she is good enough for the Prince. If the Princess can feel the pea under her mattress, than she is a true princess. She passes the test and marries the Prince.

This book is one of my daughter's favorite. The book has bright illustrations and a mystery going on. It can be used to practice sequences and other math concepts. What was put under her mattress first, second, third, etc? How many mattresses did Polly start out with? end with? Did she pass the test? Why or why not?
