About the author

Noelle handwrote her first romance novel in a spiral-bound notebook when she was twelve, and she hasn't stopped writing since. She has lived in eight different states and currently resides in Virginia, where she teaches English, reads any book she can get her hands on, and offers tribute to a very spoiled cocker spaniel.

She loves travel, art, history, and ice cream. After spending far too many years of her life in graduate school, she has decided to reorient her priorities and focus on writing contemporary romances.

4 'Sigh-Worthy' Stars

I just love Noelle Adam's 'One Night With...' Series. This one was no exception. A bodyguard looks after his beautiful, slightly off-kilter daughter of a powerful Hollywood producer. He's gorgeous and she has a huge crush on him. Plus, his strength helps her gain the strength to overcome her crippling shyness.

Noelle Adams manages to pack so much into few pages. No serials, no trilogies just great story-telling. And she's fantastic at drawing out the sexual tension between her couples. So much so, that by the time the H/h does 'get it on' her readers are already seriously hot and bothered. But more than that, despite all the forces against them NA's couples always get their well-deserved HEA.

3 Okay novella stars

LOL, I shelf the book 7 years ago and I'm finally reading it! I didn't realize it was a novella for some reason and with it as a 2.5 hours of audio, I'm not sure it was worth my time, HOWEVER, it was okay. I love Carly Robins. Not really smutty, just an easy book to have in the background while I worked.

If you need to reach your reading book goals, then it's a fast and easy book to use.

I fall in love with all these character.
First with Claire and her introvertness. She is very pure ,cute and very adorable character.
she is think more than talk but not gloomy over-thinking . she is caring for everyone that how i love her
Second with Michael the angel ,he controlled himself so perfectly so it's hard to know what he's thinking. Anyway he's soften and very caring toward Claire.
and third with family member of them I close to tear when Michael's mom reveal Michael's past.
It's not only show how he grew up but show how much she loves him.

For the matter of love story
Author left hint of Michael's feeling then and there in every detail .
This make the stories feel very warm and the love feel so true
and I love how they can connect without talking ,just observing each other body language.

I very love this book and WAIT for her next story to come out

If you are looking for a quick read , popcorn romance than you have arrived @ right place ... I fully enjoyed it , i was so exhausted in the weekend , & i just wanted to read something very light and not so lengthy. & I found this perfect novel.

You promised you’d never lie to me,” she murmured, her voice breaking as she remembered him saying that. Just yesterday morning.

He cut his eyes back to her. “I’ve never lied to you.”

“Yes, you have.” She shifted from foot to foot, forcing herself to hold his gaze, even though she was tempted to shut down for a few seconds. “You told me that, if I let someone see the real me, they would…they would adore me. You promised me it was true.”

He just stared down at her, something coiled tensely inside him the way she’d seen in him before.

“And I let you see me. For real.” It was so hard for her to say the words, despite everything. Her voice was cracked and breathless.

I have not read Noelle Adams before, but I will definitely be reading more of her books in the future.

I do love bodyguard themed romance, and "One Night with her Bodyguard" is one of the best I've read in a very long time. Ms. Adams did a fabulous job at penning a feel-good, sweet story with two extremely likeable characters and just enough suspense to keep me turning the pages.

The ending made me happy, and I just couldn't stop grinning. Recommended!

4 stars is a pretty high rating when it comes to me and my love/hate relationship with novellas.
I really liked this one. The story was not in the least original. You know what'll happen after the first chapter. What makes this pretty good are the characters.

The h, Claire, is an introvert and Noelle Adams described her feelings and all the insecurities that come with needing a lot of alone time very very well.

Michael, the H, was a very complicated guy. However, he was just the right one for Claire. I liked him a lot but if I have to choose, Claire is my favorite. I can so relate to her way of thinking, living and feeling.

I'm not as introvert as she is but I found some pieces of myself in her character. So... where's my own personal Mr. Tall Dark and Handsome Bodyguard?

I typically am drawn to bodyguard romance stories as I know that there will be a lot of push and pull involved. The bodyguard is sworn tlto protect and not fall in love with their client / clients family member so that's typically the pull ( away). The client typically is doing their best to seduce the bodyguard and is typically pushed ( away).

This is 💯 percent what happens in this novella. The fmc is attached to the man ( she's 35 he's about a decade older) that's her man bodyguard that her father hired. He's all business though, no matter how many hints she drops.

Will his madk drop once the fmc is put in danger? I'd recommend reading 📚 to find out.

This was instalment three in the One Night Novella series and another quick and easy read. In this one we meet Claire who is painfully shy and the man that has been working to protect her family for years.

The plot follows the typical formula of a contemporary romance but it does so in a short amount of pages. Within the few pages you will find everything from romance to some hot and steamy action. In other words, a great read for fans of contemporary who don't have a lot of time on their hands to commit to a much longer story.

I have slowly been working my way through all of the novellas in this series when I need a quick reading fix. So far I have not been disappointed. I could really relate to Claire in this instalment because I too suffer from extreme shyness and a bit of social anxiety. I felt like I really understood her.

I look forward to reading more from this author when I get the opportunity!

This was a fantastic novella and standalone book told from Claire's point of view. Claire was a wonderful heroine with an interesting problem of severe social anxiety. The head of her father's security team, Michael, was so patient and wonderful with her considering how serious he was in his job and emotionless. Slowly Claire realizes her feelings for Michael and begins to see another side of him. The build up for this book was perfect. You feel everything Claire does after the climax and how she steps out of her comfort zone to go after what she wants. The book had the perfect blend of romance and suspense with a stalker. I'm not usually a fan of novella's, but I'm becoming a huge fan of the author's stories.

Too bad that it is a short story because I really loved it! For now, it's the best book wrote by Adams Noelle I ever read ! And it was kind of hot sometimes ;).

You have a shy girl of a producer being protected by a strong, hot bodyguard. How can't this be a good story. I have read a few novellas by this author, but I have to say thus far this is my favorite one. The characters were well crafted and the world masterfully built to engage you. But what I liked the most about this book, was the strengths that both of the characters gained from each other. Very good story.

This is a great novella. The title says it all about the plot. But it's beautifully written with the right amount of emotions and tension. Michael and Claire are very likeable characters, very human in all their flaws. Claire is a very shy and introverted person. but she is strong and brave. Michael is a tough, professional bodyguard from the outside, but very intense and passionate from the inside. The author did a great job uncovering Michael's secret love for Claire but his POV and an insight to his inner turmoil would have made the tension more intense.

Bueno estas historias siempre se me hacen fáciles de leer y me entretienen, no hay drama ni problemas graves, son sencillas y me hacen descansar de otro tipo de libros.
Aunque la introversión de Claire a veces me parecía muy exagerada, no se, a lo mejor si existe ese tipo de nivel en que necesitan la soledad y estar rodeada de gente fastidia mucho, de hecho me siento así a veces pero bueno.
Michael, bueno el guardaespaldas, chico duro, no muestras sus sentimientos, nada fuera de lo usual.

La historia y el libro son ligeros, me gustó.

Good, cute, predictable, but a nice quick read when you don't have a lot of time to invest in a long book. I love the premise of these One Night With...books and most of the time I've wished for MORE! I love Michael in this one. Claire was alright, I wish there was more backstory to their relationship.

Claire is such an awful main character. She can't handle even normal conversations with people she knows. And she spends the story going around telling everyone who will listen how shy she is - she just comes off as a psychologically challenged doormat. I was pulling for the stalker to get her. Just terrible.

I actually would of preferred for this novel to be longer, it was only close to forty pages for a pdf copy. I did like where the story went and the relationship between hero and heroine but it would of been nice to have the story expanded into novel size.

I'd say this is like a 2.5/5 stars. Short, silly, and fun.

This was a rather short book so there was no time to develop characters at all. I really think if this had a bit of a longer length and slow burn it would make a fantastic book, but really none of the logic in it made any sense.

Like despite being a stoic bodyguard, our MMC's personality does almost a 180 flip partway, and it does seem they both kind of love bombed each other. But who am I to complain? It was easy and I did feel I was reading something under my reading level.

Noelle Adams is who I go to when I want to read a good Marriage of Convenience or a fun romance read. This book was simply too short to really be judgemental of, and I don't think its purpose is really to be analyzed too deeply. Oh well. It was fun with zero logic and that's where I'll put it at, since that's exactly what I was looking for when I sat down to read it.

I love this book. I could not tell you how many times I’ve gone back to this book when I want a quick lovely story to read. The strong silent-type bodyguard who has a secret 6yr long crush on his protectee, who is the extremely introverted daughter of a wealthy Hollywood movie industry bigwig.
Threats to Claire’s security force her to be taken to a hidden location where Michael her bodyguard can protect her from the stalker. The two are used to each other’s company however the unusual situation they are suddenly faced with brings out a side to their personalities that they have both been oblivious to until this moment, including their mutual attraction to each other.
It’s a lovely heartwarming story that brings a smile to your face and will reel you back in again and again to revisit the characters. I love it!!!
