Leila DeSint was born in a small town on the east coast of Canada. Her nomadic childhood gave her the ability to ebb and flow with the seasons, people and places she lived in. Most often, she could be found in a corner with a pencil and notepad using words to recreate the dark world around her. Many summers of her youth were spent on the shores of her birthplace collecting seashells, but she always returned them for the next wanderer that happened by.

The pencil and notepad have been traded for a computer, but the words never stop flowing, nor did her interest in conjuring glimpses of the world as she perceived it. The corner is now a desk. And rather than leaving behind seashells for wanderers, she pens dark, gritty erotic literature that examines the complexities of human emotions and sexuality through an ever-changing lens. She delves into the shadowy areas and explores the social-perceptions of taboos.

She threads together the remnants of the world she witnessed in order to shed light on obscure places.

Vol.2 is even better and a hundred times more complicated then the first one. Rhys and Caden are both still killing me inside with so many feelings and emotions bombarding me. But not so much as Des, thankfully. And I'm in the Acknowledgements - how cool is that?!

I just don't get it! Man this series is so frustrating, it had so much potential to be a good dark read. Sadly it just didn't do it for me.
This was a continuation of London Brown's Confessions of a whore which
and Desniah's confessions of a whinny ass always crying socialite
Also Cade's confessions of a sappy idiot politician
and last Rhys confessions of a crazy deranged psychopath
(yes Rhys you are) was just strange.

I did a lot of skimming. Desniah and her other personality are at odds with each other and fight for control, sadly Des was winning. Nope still not a fan of Des. London she was the fun one Des got on my damn nerves she cried through the whole book. Plus the guy she chooses to be with basically would kill her if he let his other personality take control that he "claims" he's trying to "control" uh not... She should have left him the first time he tried it. Buuuut nooo she felt he was good for issues so she stayed.
See the thing with Rhys, he was playing at being a Dom to hide his true self which is a psychopathic monster. This fools mind was all over the place the things he wanted to do to Des/ women period was scary!
Cade, well I was rooting for him, but he disappointed me even London was on his side and tried to help him out buuuut again nooo he had evidence of what his father did to her and still did nothing...

All in all and ok read way tooo much sex though, like over the top rough her poor hoha should have fallen on the floor by the first chapter read tyoe sex. I had a lot more for this review to tell you but I hit a damn button while previewing it and everything went to the home page! Damn it there should be a save draft or don't post yet button.
will I read the next volume that comes out? Yes I know I know but I'm a very nosy person and I need to know what happens next be it good or bad.

I have to admit after reading volume 1 I did not know if I was rooting for Rhys or Cade. I am even more torn after Volume 2!!!! Des/London is a badass. I cant wait for the next installment.
