Taylor L. Ray’s Red Hot part 2 continues the story of Leanne and Cameron as they scorch the pages with their whirlwind relationship, all while trying to keep Leanne safe from her violent ex-husband, Scott. At the end of book one we met Cameron’s friend, Jason, and Leanne was offered the opportunity to play out a fantasy of having two men pleasuring her at once. They don’t disappoint! While the scene between the three of them was certainly memorable, it didn’t take away from the overall plot of the book. Sticking close to Cameron seems to be working for Leanne as she hasn’t seen a sign of her ex; but little did they know he has been watching every move they made. Hiding right under their noses, he puts his plans into action and steals Leanne away and fully intends to make her pay. Even if Leanne survives her ex, how will she survive if Cameron leaves once she doesn’t need his protection anymore?
I was so pleased with the way Taylor Ray wrapped up the story. Again, I’m just amazed at the amount of story she packed into barely 80 pages. It’s rare to finish a short book and feel like you’ve just read a full novel and find yourself wondering if the characters are living their HEA.
