Best Dressed Lie

Rate this book
This torrid love story wends its way through the ups and downs of Keisha Jackson’s life. Separated at birth from her sister, her crushed heart may never recover until she confronts the ghosts of her past and deals with the realities of the present.
Keisha is trying to get her life together but her live-in lover Randy, with his smooth, chocolate, masculine physique and sexy tats like a subway in Harlem, is addicted to hot steamy sex with any number of partners, including people Keisha trusts.
Things get so bad Keisha doesn't want to face her friends. Suspicious and suspecting everyone, she blames herself because she thinks she isn't good enough for him. Randy’s association with underworld characters and gambling fill her life with murder, violence and fornication. She does not realize she can do better until she is forced to face the ugly truth when she is beaten and battered to within an inch of her life. Little does Keisha know that her friends are also her enemies and the people she thinks she knows have dark deep secrets intertwined inextricably with her own existence. One of these associations shoots Randy. Does he die? Will he come back to get revenge? Keisha doesn't know what to do.

The twists, turns, deceit and guile of human relationships is about to catch up with them. Will the story end with joy and closure or death and destruction?

It gets greater later

There a couple of mistakes. Which is to expected a book in 2017. You can tell when the author took flight because her third person speaking went away. This book was a little slow at first. As the story commenced; the more the story become interesting. It was short and sweet. I will read part two if it is findable.

Side note: Amazon needs half stars. This book I rating is 3& a half stars.

I really enjoyed it from beginning to end. It kept you on the edge always wondering what's going to happen next. This book made you laugh, cry, rejoice and get angry. I'm anxious about Part 2 being released soon.
