TERAJIMA Yuuji: Yūji Terajima (寺嶋裕二), born 10 May 1974, is a Japanese manga artist, born in Mannō, Kagawa. He is the writer and illustrator of the baseball manga, Daiya no Ace which won the 2008 Shogakukan Manga Award in the Shōnen category.

Previously, he worked as an assistant under Rando Ayamine on the manga serial Get Backers along with fellow assistant Atsushi Okubo, who later authored Soul Eater.

I kind of hate how the translations are so Americanized. Like I really don't like that it's "varsity" and "junior varsity" while in the anime it's "first string" and "second string." It's just so much better!

But the story is still amazing as ever! The Chris and Sawamura battery warms my heart every time! It really is a disservice to us that we will (probably) never see Chris at 100% and I just want to see him go OFF in a game once he's healed up.

been flying through these daiya volumes, the end of baseball season has me missing baseball so i thought what better time than to finally start a series i've been eyeing for close to a decade at this point? so far, love the characters and the story. i was a bit intimidated by its series length at first but i've been so entertained so far i haven't even noticed.
