Ok, so at first I was like this will be a hot steamy teacher/student romance..
So we have this virgin, who is in the midst of getting fondled by her current boyfriend, when the "hero/teacher" comes in and saves her.
So she cries and cries, and the next day decides she wants to lose her virginity to the teacher.. now you haven't let your boyfriend touch you, but you're ready to give it up to some random teacher who we haven't heard about until he "saved" you?
So they strike a deal, now he wants her to shave her Hello Kitty, and she is afraid, sccccarred.. Again, you're ready to hand your V-card over but are afraid of a razor??

YES, YOU AREEEEE!!!

The razor is coming for you!

HILLARIOUS, I swear...

She was an sexually inexperienced and shy college girl.
He was a hot art history college teacher.
Once upon a time he rescued her from getting raped by her boyfriend.
Next thing you know...she wants Him to be her First...
I, personally, think it all seemed almost too unbelievable to be true.
On the other side, you can use this story like intro book on BDSM.

Short and hot story. Not deep or emotional, more like fun and easy.

The begging was very gripping, but after a while it felt like it had no relevance to the rest of the story what so ever. I was a bit confused. It gave me the impression that the story will be a little bit dark and twisted, but it wasn't. So I didn't get it why author chose to start a book that way and after let the heroine to be jumped so soon. Rachel saying "It's ok, I'm ok." just felt wrong. I had a hard time imagining a girl/woman being ok, after experiencing something like that. So, in order for me to enjoy the book I had to just ignore the begging completely and pretend it never happened. I didn't get the impression that the story was meant to be emotional, but it's fine. I just didn't get it why the need to bring THAT up at all? I think the story would have done it just fine starting a "normal" way (trying not to spoil the it :)).

The chemistry between two main characters was believable. It was fun to read about there interactions, especially at the beginning. There were all kinds of lines crossed. But does every story have to be morally right?

The rest of the book was quite alright, but it felt like the beginning belonged to a completely different story.

If you want a steamy book with explosive sex and kinky games then this is a good one.

I didn't hate it and i think the sex scenes were okay (i already read this kind of books before, even more "strong"), my problem was the first scene, i think. She's in this horrible situation, and i was crying and shaking and then it was like it didn't matter. I was disappointed, i know that yo have to live on and try to forget the bad thing that happened but it was so fast, TOO fast, in my opinion. And the teacher, in the summary you read that he saves her but i'm not really sure about it and his way to handle the situation, i didn't like it

That scene ruined everything in my head, i can't help it!!!

My review may have spoilers. Don't read if you want to read with no info about the story.

The story did not work for me. The heroine loses her virginity in a closet by this big shot on the college campus. She says no, but there are other things going on. Her professor and also the hero stops it but it too late because she already has lost her virginity. The professor makes a comment that she should have known better than get involved with the jock since he has a reputation for doing this. I think she just kind of shrugged off his comment. I am not sure, but that is the way I took it. I thought she would be devastated. The next day, or a few days later, she is thinking about this professor. Something tragic happens to her like this jock on the college campus takes advantage of her but she is ready to get it on quickly with the professor. I love teacher/student relationships, but this one felt wrong. It just left me not feeling good about how things were progressing. I did not like either characters. Cold - that is the word to describe them. Maybe they changed later in the story, but I just could not continue reading.

This is my opinion and how I perceived the story. It may work for you. I am not telling you not to read the book.

After suffering a traumatic experience with her college boyfriend, Rachel is glad to see her art professor come to her rescue. However, after Professor Davis patches up Rachel she is unable to stop the thoughts running through her mind about him. Once she decides to ask him to be her first sexual encounter she is surprised by his answer. Professor Davis is interested in some pretty different ideas when it comes to sexual relationships, but can Rachel accept him and his kinks?

This book was a pretty quick read with some really steamy scenes. I really enjoyed the kink side of the book and the idea that the teacher was teaching his student more than just art lessons. The scenes where Rachel was fantasizing about Professor Davis were really well done and steamy, along with the scenes between the two characters. However, there wasn't any background on the main characters at all. I enjoy a straight sex only book, but in this case I would have liked to see more information on the characters. The light information on the characters was my only complaint and aside from that I really did enjoy the book.

From what the book title and cover suggest, this is the first in a series. However, there are not any other books out by this author but there is an excerpt from the second book on her website. I would like to see another book put out because you are left at the end wondering what will happen when Rachel goes back to his class and how their relationship will grow and change.

I will keep this book in anticipation and hope that a second one comes out. It was a light BDSM read so I would recommend it and could see many people enjoying this book.

So short but dayummmm!!! So good! I'm thinking it should be called Awakening The Beast, because of Rachel's transformation sexually.

Professor Matt Davis is delicioussss***sigh*** He was sexy but so restrained! That in of itself was a huge turn-on. He was smooth and fully aware of his affect on Rachel.
For such a short read his character really packed a punch. I loved reading about his and Rachel's growing relationship. It was sweet and fun, no angst or deep emotional investment which is sometimes what you need. There was a lot of things I liked and other things I wanted to see more of.
For one, Rachel propositioning the professor was the shit. She saw what she wanted and went after it. It was nice to see the tables turned in that manner. Prof. Davis wanted Rachel but set boundaries. This ability of his to give her the control was both sweet and refreshing. She needed to feel that control and feel she was in charge of how her sexual awakening unfolded.
I defintely wanted to know more about these characters. Why was she still a virgin? ( nothing wrong with that, but I feel there's a back story there ), Who is Matt Davis? I am dying to know more about this man! Hopefully we will be given that as the books come out in this series.
Really looking forward to more in this series!! And the sex scenes?! Holy shit! Totally hot!

Though most reviews say otherwise, I couldn't really get into this one. But in all, it was a fast and pretty decent read. Just too much like what I've read before even with the forbidden teacher/student angle.

This book was just okay. It's definitely a " get acquainted" with the characters, first in a series book. I'm on the fence about continuing it.

Short but deliciously hot! For a starter to the series, it certainly didn't disappoint. Now I find myself waiting for the rest of the series or next release.

It's an ok read, just loses pace and gets boring towards the end.
Overused theme.
