Elzie Crisler Segar was a cartoonist, best known as the creator of Popeye, a pop culture character who first appeared in 1929 in Segar's comic strip Thimble Theatre.
Finally got hold hold of the final volume in this series though I have still to find volume 10. This is not quite as funny as some of the earlier volumes but is still a good read though it is very sad that EC Segar died before he could finish the story.
Very fun! The long-form stories surprised me with 360 degree quality.
1. The book starts in the middle of A Seahag story 2. "A Sock for Susan's Sake" (the best one) 3. "Wild Oats" 4. "The Valley of the Goons" 5. "King Swee'pea"
