Her work has been published under four different names: Yuna Kagesaki (影崎 由那 Kagesaki Yuna) (professionally published non-pornographic comics, except for Sakura no Ichiban), Yuna Kagezaki (影崎 由那 Kagezaki Yuna?) (same characters but different readings; only in Taishō Komachi Jikenchō Sakura no Ichiban!) Yūna Kagesaki (影崎 夕那 Kagesaki Yūna) (spelled with different kanji) when drawing CG's for PC games, and Yuta Kageyama (影山 由多 Kageyama Yuta) when drawing hentai manga or HCG's for PC games.

After letting her feelings out about how happy she feels to have Kenta in her life, someone who knows her secrets and doesn’t judge her, who eases her loneliness when she’s out in the daylight with humans, Karin has finally pushed through her shyness and told Kenta how she feels.

However, when learning that she’s drawn to blood types of those who have suffered misfortune, Kenta initially reacts poorly thinking all her attention and their friendship was out of pity but as they reconnect, he realizes that was never the case and wanting to help her control the blood increase she feels around him, Kenta asks Karin to bite him and give him her excess blood.

Kenta and his mother also decide to face his father who wanted to set things right and apologize for not being there first them. Kenta also faces his own feelings of being thought of as “unwanted” something he dealt with when he and his mother had to live with his grandmother before they fled the neglectful situation for a fresh start. Maybe it was Karin’s bite or maybe it’s the start of something deeper than friendship but both of them are starting to feel more at home and less lonely now with each other.

We learn more about why Kenta's mom ran away from home with him and what exactly is up with his dad. Karin also finally bites him and her family is just gonna have to deal with them being friends (or more than friends? (obviously they are end game)). This is the last volume I own. While this one and the last one are much better then like 2-5, I don't think I will be finishing the series. It's too long and I don't want to be disappointed if there's another dip in quality.

Up in the air

Hmm...not sure how I feel about the problem being resolved, but I am happy that it made Kenta and Karin grow closer. Can't wait for the next volume. Still feel they should've added Kenta's father into the anime. Nice big dose of drama there.

I mean sure, I guess the story about Kenta's dad reached a satisfying conclusion but that's about everything interesting that happened in this volume. Well, that other thing too, but I won't spoil it.

So like, half of their issues get resolved because of her biting him because he was like 'Yeah bite me, do it.' And so she did it and now they're chill but in the end are they really???

This volume ended a story begun in volume 6. We now know more about Kenta Usai and his family. Again, the manga is unusual in the sense that family is an important part of the story.

This volume is by far my most favorite right now.

We totally learn even more about Kenta and his estranged dad and where they are going to go from there. Kenta's Dad comes into the story and is looking for him and his mom. As is a detective that his grandma hired. Kenta's gma is a royal snob and we find out that she is basically the reason why the family never had a happily ever after. But there's a tad bit more to it that I didn't see coming.

As for Karin and Kenta updates omg... the next best thing to kissing happened and eeee!! a couple of nibble nibbles.

I felt the artwork in this was most awesome and I really really enjoyed the author's comic strip about how she wanted to murder editor. I love those little things at the end.

I'm looking forward to the next volume and hope with the nibble de nibble zomg will bring Karin and Kenta into a young love budding relationship that will make me go squee!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this manga novel. I was fully immersed in the world of Karin and her vampire family that I devoured this in no time at all. I loved the humour that arose from time to time. I found myself laughing out loud at little bits and pieces.
The storyline is a good one, it was very interesting and so I just kept reading it until I reached the end.
I felt as though I got to know the characters better and I really like all of them.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed Chibi Vampire Volume 7, it was funny, and it was also a deeply engrossing manga. I'd recommend this to the manga fans out there and also fans of the vampire theme.

This volume concludes the story arc of Kenta's past, and our lovers are reconciled with a first bite that blows everyone away. The Markers are just going to have to accept that they're stuck with Usui Kenta for the time being.

I really liked this volume a lot, especially that SCENE! Ah! So squee-worthy. Unfortunately I don't have access to any more after this at this time... but hopefully soon, I will! ;)

These are super cute and fun to read. Karin is a klutz and pretty much hilarious. I love Anju's creepiness and her dolls are definitely up there in the scary factor. I didn't expect the interesting side stories going on while Karin is still trying to figure out how to seal with Kenta so those are an added bonus.

I'm looking forward to delving into the rest of the series!

When Kenta discovers Karins true feelings about him, their relationship shatters. Both sides struggle to deal with the thought of losing the one they love. Is there light at the end of the tunnel for them?

Quick thoughts: Another great volume to bring us to the halfway point of the manga. Kenta's family issues and the revelation from last volume and its effects all combine and will have lasting impact on our leads.

Awww. I am disappointed. I can't find the 6th volume so I skipped and read this volume instead. And I think I'll stop reading this manga. :((
