Truman was a poor Missouri farm boy born in 1884. He married his Sunday school sweet heart and was a World War I war hero. He failed at farming and business before entering politics. He loved fast cars, bourbon, and beating the socks of Winston Churchill in poker. He was a great husband and father. He dropped the atomic bomb on Japan and was continually brow beaten by his mother-in-law.
