This was my first Kelli Maine book and I liked it. I had no idea going into it what exactly it was about but I thought it would be extremely smutty and have some BDSM. I never watched Kelli’s series online so I had no background on it at all. I won't say that it's something that goes down in the history of hot novellas but it's a good short read. This to me wasn't your traditional Dom and Sub type book. It was different and had it's own little twist to it. I hoped it was going to be explosively smutty but it really wasn't that hardcore or intense. To be honest it was fairly mild.

Alistair Ingram goes to Dolls & Doms private men's club to celebrate his bachelor party. He's a pompous ass, completely arrogant and gorgeous. He has the whole world at his fingertips. He's engage to be married to a hot supermodel and is ready for a good night of debauchery with his friends.

Black Betty the dominatrix takes one look at Alistair and knows just how to teach this pretty boy to submit. She pulls Alistair back to her lair to show him a couple of her tricks but things go differently than she had planned as Alistair turns the tables on her. This leaves Betty stunned and unprepared for the rush of emotions that overtake her. Alistair brings out a side in Betty she has long since buried.

After the night goes terribly wrong something happens that puts Betty in danger and keeps Alistair in her life. Things between them heat up bringing out old emotions for Betty and current problems for Alistair. Both of them are thrown into a relationship that they did not expect and become involved in a way that catches them off guard.

Can Betty tame Alistair and allow herself to trust him? Can he protect Betty from a past that threatens to come back to haunt her?

You’ll have to read to find out!!

Overall I thought it was a good novella by the author. There is definitely enough there to keep the reader interested. I didn’t fall completely in love with either characters but still liked them enough to keep reading. I would have to say there’s only one thing I really didn’t like and that was the switch in Bettys personality from Dominatrix to sweet girl to dominatrix again. She went back and forth and I really didn’t feel it. I don’t know! I just could not connect!! Other than that I think this is a good little novella if you’re looking for something to read quickly. It’s and has it’s own thing going on. I’ll definitely read the next book in the series.

No. I didn't like this. Not at all.

We again get a femdom who is (of bloody course and how could this ever be different?!) a prostitute, a dominatrix. And she of course immediately turns into a simpering submissive when the "right" hunk looms over her (the one with the six-pack and shit-eating grin). Not just that, she also takes out her abuse-fuelled hate on clients, yes, of course by abusing him, and her BDSM skills are somewhere in the sub-sub-basement (a tip to authors: do research prior to writing. At least a tiny fucking bit!).

I'm so terminally fed up with books which abuse the BDSM lifestyle in the manner this one does. It's disrespectful, facile, treads on the backs of those who already are treated to much societal disdain and injustice, and spreads an image of BDSM which is skeevy and sleazy. I can't eat enough to puke as much as I want because of such bullshit.

Oh, and plot/prose-wise this is a complete mess. I don't get why this has the amount of 5*-reviews it has--just because it contains a "hawwt actor-hunk"?

I was fortunate to receive an ARC from Kelli Maine and I have to say, THANK YOU!!! I thoroughly enjoyed The Submission of Alistair Ingram. I am hoping there is more to come of these two, because I was definitely left wanting more…

So here is my review:

This story is not about a Dom and a Sub. This story is about two troubled souls trying to discover their identity which they both lost so many years ago.

Alistair Ingram, is a Hollywood movie star struggling to find his true identity. For years he has been living the life that he is "supposed" to be living in Hollywood. A week before Alistair is to be married his buddies throw him a bachelor party at the exclusive private men's club, Dolls & Doms in Las Vegas. After a session with a dominatrix, Black Betty, Alistair's life is turned upside down.

Black Betty has been working at Dolls & Doms since she left her former life behind in Miami ten years ago to flee from her ex-husband, her former Dom. Black Betty has had a "rough" life to say the least. She has built a wall around her heart and for 10 years and has refused to let anyone in. Her armor is made of steel, or so she thought, until one kiss with Alistair changes everything. Little by little Alistair is breaking down the walls that she has built to protect herself and Black Betty does not know how to handle these feelings.

Black Betty and Alistair learn to trust each other and they discover "themselves" by being with other. Is it possible that one kiss can change "everything"? For Black Betty is may have……..

This was my first Kelli Maine book. I was initially intrigued by (a) the cover of the book and (b) the synopsis. However, I would have to say that this one fell flat for me....

The story had potential and started off great....Alistair Ingram is Hollywood's Golden Boy. He's "celebrating" his pending nuptials at the Dolls and Doms club in Vegas. There he meets Black Betty. Black Betty has been a Dom for the past 10 years--she was a Doll (sub) in her former life which resulted in a lot of emotional and physical scars.

Things don't go according to plan and Alistair finds himself with a broken engagement and feelings for Black Betty. It was at this point that things took a turn for the worse. The whole Dolls and Doms storyline just didn't make sense. Did Alistair want to be a Dom? Or a Doll? Was Black Betty really a Doll pretending to be a Dom? It was all really confusing. I found the direction the storyline went to be a little far-fetched.

And the mystery element (her past catching up with her) was really under-developed for me. Overall all, I found the writing to be less then steller and I never developed any connection to either of the main characters.

Once they finally had sex it was just okay....nothing to write home about.

To be fair..I never followed the Dolls and Doms blog but thought I would give this one a try anyways. Unfortunately it just didn't work for me.

I was already a huge fan of Kelli’s after the intriguing Taken series. I started following the Dolls and Doms posts shortly after. I was excited to see she was putting the whole thing together into a Novella. Kelli’s mind and creativeness never ceases to amaze me.

This book is not a traditional dom/sub type book there is no comparison to 50 Shades or any of those types of books. But trust me when I say it’s still HOT and STEAMY. This is a story about Alistair and Black Betty. They are a total mess personally and their lives are just as screwed up…

Alistair is engaged to a Hollywood starlet. Attending his bachelor party at the club Dolls and Doms, is the last thing that Alistair wants to be doing. He thinks that this stuff is all a joke really, but that all changes the minute that he meets Black Betty.

Black Betty works as a dominatrix at the club in Vegas. She is set to work a bachelor party where she meets the enigma that is Alistair Ingram. She is far from impressed with the Hollywood lifestyle, but Alistair rattles her like no other has done in a long time. She’s running from a past she wants to burry and a man she needs to escape.

Her life is a bit of a mess and what she doesn’t know is that Alistair’s is as well.

Devising a plan in order to get themselves out of the mess that the media has created, Alistair and Black Betty find themselves in an uncomfortable situation. Neither of them is willing to accept that the other has affected them. These two are quite stubborn and it makes for some great reading. The banter between these two is funny. Black Betty cracks me up with her witty comments and her take no crap attitude.

It was not hard to become smitten with Alistair and endeared to Black Betty as the story unfolds, it left me simply wanting more…

Kelli has once again written a HOT story that combines the steamy with the sweet and sassy.

I give The Submission of Alistair Ingram my 5 Star Seal of Approval… The only thing that it needs… Is to be longer… Loved this series and cannot wait till she starts the next one on the Dolls and Doms website.

Meh... this one was just o-k for me. I was really enjoying the idea of the story, because I love it when famous people take a liking to a non-famous person, but this one needed a little bit more character and plot development in my opinion. I felt like it ended kind of abruptly.

"I've been a bad, bad girl...And you're a bad boy who needs to be broken."

A fast-paced sexy romp with intriguing characters that drew me in from the first page.

Black Betty: A Dom who wants to be in control and does not like being challenged or topped. She is hiding herself under armor and barely remembers who she was before she became a Dom. But something sweet lies under all the layers of protection. She is trying to escape her past and lives in fear that it will catch up with her.

"Don't screw with that one...she'll eat you alive and keep your soul in a jar beside the bed."

Alistair Ingram: Cocky, sexy, arrogant, Hollywood Golden Boy with a little wild side. He's famous, has had a checkered past, and knows what he wants when he sees it.

Black Betty: "Quite the charmed life you live, Doll. Time to get a little dirty."

It is all over for Alistair when his friend schedules his Bachelor Party at Dolls and Doms. One visit to the backroom with Black Betty sets of a chain of events that neither of them were prepared for. They were drawn to each other like magnets despite seeming totally wrong for each other.

Inside that crazy head of hers was a world he's never stepped foot in. A world of pain and unimaginable pleasure. He wanted in.

Alistair shook her to the core. A half-hour alone with him and he'd sought out her deepest, darkest fear like some crazy heat-seeking missile launched to destroy her.

Trust becomes a huge issue for them. They are thrown into situations requiring trust and have to struggle to find their way through the mine field.

Alistair: "I can take whatever you give me...Can you take what I give you? That's the real question."

Black Betty: "Don't mistake attraction for trust. I don't know you. I don't trust you. You shouldn't trust me"

They have a dance between Dominance an submission with both of them wanting to top. They are super-charged, sexy sarcastic, explosive, and funny.

"Two Doms don't make a right."

"This isn't about normal people. If you want vanilla, this isn't your game, Mr. Ingram."
"What if I want vanilla with chocolate sauce? A sprinkle of nuts?...some whipped cream with a cherry on top?"
"What you're asking for is Rocky Road sprinkled with shards of glass, got it?"

They have to learn to trust, give in, let go of the past, be true, and not hide behind a mask. And she fights it all along the way. There are situations conspiring against them and outside influences interfering in their mutual discovery of each other.

I adored Alistair and how he treated Black Betty/Bethany and kept trying to get past her defenses to find the real girl. Despite having a hard time understanding her contradictory nature at first, he was assertive but sweet. He pushed her but understood her fears and tried to help her reconnect with herself again. I loved that he stood up for her and treated her with respect. Their smoldering chemistry, witty rapport, sarcasm, strong desires and underlying emotions made them a joy to read about it.

Alistair: "I'm not sure if you want me buried between your legs or buried in your backyard."

Alistair: "You kill me, do you know that? You absolutely slay me inside."

I loved the alternating POVs of Black Betty/Bethany and Alistair since it gave you insight into the rapidly cycling thoughts going on in their heads. They were literally volatile at the beginning and their thoughts, actions, and attractions moved at break neck speed.

They had electric chemistry, an unlikely understanding of each other, and brought out feelings that neither of them were expecting. It is a story about finding acceptance and what you need when and where you least expect it.

I am looking forward to more adventures at Dolls and Doms. New stories will be starting on the blog March 7th with Bradley Burton and Red Mary and will eventually become the 2nd novella.

Thanks to Kelli Maine for providing me with an ARC of this novella in exchange for an honest review

Okay to say I was very excited to read The Submission of Alistair Ingram would be an under-freaking-statement!!! Having followed Kelli's Dolls & Dom's series I was beside myself when I got my hands on this. I was..................................................................

"Mmmm Black Betty, blam, blam, mmmm Black Betty blam, blam!" Just be very thankful you can't hear me actually singing! Oh yes Black Betty the infamous "Dom" at the Dolls & Doms club in Las Vegas was known for her whip yielding ways! This exclusive membership-by-invitiation-only mens club was she had been working since she left her previous life behind 10 years prior. With her signature song, Ram Jam's Black Betty, playing she strutted her gorgeous long blonde hair self across the stage. I pictured..................................................

On this night there was a bachelor party for the famous Alistair Ingram! Oh yes this sexy, egotistical, leading man on the big screen was in for some Black Betty! With his wicked grin and chocolate eyes how Black Betty could keep herself together is AMAZING. I would've.......................................................

Well Black Betty is going to teach Mr. Ingram a thing or two, knock him down a peg so to speak, or is she? Well, turns out that not ALL things are exactly as they appear. Remember Alistair is quite famous oh I should mention and his finacee is the starlet Heather Winston, things are bound to get out! Oh they get out in a BIG WAY and the next day all hell breaks loose..................................................

The paparazzi is all for the "scoop" but what do you do when that "scoop" includes a life that you've been hiding from for the past 10 years, well you leave! Now I'm not going to tell you how this sexy drama plays out but I'll share how I felt while reading this book. The book is told from both POV's, yes I love that, and when Alistair started out he literally had me........................................

Oh boy he was glutton for punishment! The little rest stop scene had me rolling! But when I started to learn a little more about "Black Betty" well I truly felt......................................................

The two of them together was HOT and..................................

But what's going to happen? Is this going to end in a good way? What happens when the past comes back to haunt you reminding you of why you did what you did? Eventually, things, well, they just left me.........

Boy, was this going to end well? Was I going to be doing this at the end..................................................................

Well you have to read this one to find out! This awesome freaking read will have you in stitches at some parts and down right drooling at others! I recommend if you haven't read this yet you move it up your TBR NOW! This is a BIG 5 star read for me! I so loved it as I have with Kelli's other two books and I can't wait to get my hands on more from her! She has a way with writing that lets you enter the book and escape for the time you are in her stories! FAN-FREAKING-TASTING!!! ACA-AWESOME!! I'm in LOVE with Alistair Ingram BIG FREAKING TIME!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved the story of Black Betty and Alistair from the beginning–when they were weekly episodes on Kelli’s Dolls and Doms website. I looked forward to reading the latest episode each week and just like I was addicted to these weekly episodes I was also addicted to this novella. This story is a combination of steam and romance. **sigh**

Black Betty is a Dominatrix at a local private men’s club on the strip in Las Vegas. She is the best of the best and was working a private bachelor party for a Hollywood actor–Alistair Ingram. Alistair Ingram–the hot actor–who is celebrating his soon to be nuptials to actress Heather Winston. Being the man of the night he is treated to some one-on-one attention from Black Betty.

Their chemistry is immediate but Black Betty and this throws Betty. She is used to maintain control in the club and Alistair throws all that control out the door. By the end of their private session Betty has broken several club rules and in the light of day must deal with the consequences. Those consequences can prove to be both harmful and damaging to both Betty and Alistair.

Called into work because of her antics the next day Betty comes face to face with Alistair and an extremely upset boss. Faced with the real possibility of losing her job Betty decides to help Alistair smooth over the very public repercussions of last night’s antics. What neither of them realize when they agree to their “plan” is that Black Betty’s past would come back to threaten and harm her.

Alistair brings her back to Hollywood and as their relationship takes off it is almost immediately tested and strained by the Hollywood industry, Alistair’s fiancé, Betty’s past and the damaged that it did to her self-esteem and trust. Alistair is very protective of her and wants to take care of her. Betty struggles with maintaining the independence and control that she worked so hard to gain that she feels that Alistair is trying to smother her. Will Betty be able to handle the pressure of Hollywood? Will Betty and Alistair survive everything that is being thrown their way? Can Betty handle Alistair’s protectiveness? Is Betty’s past just too much for Alistair to handle?

Favorite quotes and excerpts from the book:

“I’ve been a bad, bad girl,” she whispered. “And you’re a bad boy who needs broken.”

“I’m not telling you my name. I’m not delving into my past with you, and i’m not going to serve as some pathetic charity case that you can help and get your ego off on.”

“Don’t screw with that one,” the security guard said with a chuckle, “she’ll eat you alive and keep your soul in a jar beside her bed.”

“I don’t understand your past or what you’re into here, but you never have to be afraid of me. Do you understand?”

“There’s our ride,” Bethany said, standing and strolling past the two women. “I should probably unlock him now.” Making a show of it, she searched every pocket in her handbag. “Hmm…wonder where I put that handcuff key.”

(by Kelli Maine)

I love this book. You get the weekly episodes that were previously posted plus extra–with the continuation of the story of Black Betty and Alistair. I want to know more about Alistair and Betty so I really hope that we will see another novella that will continue with their story.

Wow this book had me hooked right from the start. I had no idea what to expect but what I got was a great read with great characters and a brilliant story line.

Alistair Ingram is a hot shot movie star who spends his bachelor party at Dolls & Doms men's club. His best man thinks it a great idea to give him a private show with none other than the feisty Dom, Black Betty.

I LOVED Black Betty or Bethany as we soon learn. She is a terribly broken woman who hasn't let herself be loved by a man in so long she has forgotten how to do it. She is a Dom at the club because she is petrified of ever being vulnerable to a man again.

Word gets out about Alistair's little visit and his engagement is soon off. Thanks to the paparazzi there is now a threat to Beth's safety, so what is the solution? Fleeing Vegas of course - with Alistair. This is where the fun started.
"I don't know why you're all freaked out over one orgasm. Jesus, imagine if we would've had sex. You probably would've slit my throat."

I absolutely loved the relationship between Alistair and Beth. Not once was I sure of where things were going to go, I was just left hoping. The story was HOT, real and emotional.
"You kill me, do you know that? You absolutely slay me inside."

I have no idea what's next in store for these two but I'm so excited to find out!

I am giving this novella 4.5 Stars only because I was left wanting MORE!!

I fell in love with Alistair and “Black Betty”.

On Febuary 12th Kelli Maine will release the first novella based on her popular blog, Dolls and Doms (I think this novella is available now on Smashwords). We were lucky enough to review an ARC and were so excited because Ms. Maine is one of our favorite authors.

This is a dark and very sexy novella and a very quick read. I am looking forward to more in the Dolls and Doms series.

This is not so much a “traditional” (lol) Dom and Sub story. Alistair and Betty actually both have serious issues with trust, honesty and identity. Alistair Ingram is a superstar living in a Hollywood bubble. During an eventful bachelor party at the very exclusive Dolls and Doms Club in Las Vegas, he meets famed dominatrix Black Betty. Both of their lives change after that night.

Betty has erected walls around her heart due to her very painful past and Alistair fights to build an honest relationship with her. Can’t wait to read more from Kelli Maine!

Includes mild BDSM.

WOW! WOW! WOW!!

I loved following the excerpts when Kelli was putting them on the Dolls and Doms blog, but having them altogether and adding the rest - I am just blown away!!!

Alistair and Black Betty/Bethany are from two different worlds. However they are both used to doing the same thing - playing a character. When they meet, they both have preconceived opinions of the other. They both have trust issues and really don't like being told what to do.

Alistair feels a direct need to protect Bethany and he can't explain why. Bethany isn't sure what to make of Alistair but deep inside her she knows that she can trust him - mind, body and soul.

The connection between these two is off the charts. Not only do they physically connect and have mind-blowing orgasms together but they understand each other in ways that other people don't. I love that Alistair never gives up on Bethany. He is very defensive and protective of her. Everything is new to Bethany - she has never had any man treat with her respect or dignity. She is just waiting from the bottom to drop out and go back to her old life.

Kelli Maine does a great job of keeping this novella moving along and keeping things very interesting. She does not leave anything out!! There isn't one scene that will have your blood at it's boiling point! FANTASTIC!!

All I can say is I WANT MORE!!!

The Dolls & Doms Novella Series is going to be so much fun to read! It has sex, romance, and a little bit of suspense in there too. I really enjoyed this one and can't wait to read more.

In this first installment of the series, we meet Black Betty, aka Bethany, and Alistair. Ok listen...I want my very own Alistair Ingram. This guy is hot! He's a movie star, but he really is a very down to earth kind of guy. That made him almost more appealing to me. I liked Bethany too. She brings along a set of troubles that may make things difficult for Alistair. So, with the combo of his celebrity and her shady past, things are about to get interesting. At this point, Alistair and Bethany head back to LA in order to keep Bethany safe from her ex. While in LA, Bethany lets her guard down and she and Alistair act on their attraction to each other. It was hot! I'm not sure where the series will go from here, but I loved where Alistair and Bethany's relationship was heading in the end.

Overall, I really liked it. This novella series reads like a sitcom. It would be a perfect tv show. It was fun, fast paced, and certainly sexy. I definitely recommend it.

I was given this book as an ARC from the author for a truthful and honest review.

This book was so dark and sexy but I felt like I was Alistair a lot of the time. Black Betty is such a mess of a woman. She has been through so much abuse and has built herself up to be this Female Dom of a woman when in actuality she is a submissive. She hides behind her whip so no one can hurt her....until the day Alistair arrives at the club she works. Their chemistry is explosive and he tempts her right from the start. When the story breaks and a lot of trouble ensues from his bachelor party he takes Black Betty home where she continues to lose herself to him.

Without a doubt my favorite part of the story is when Black Betty is "training" Alistair in the rest stop bathroom. I have never giggles so hard as I did reading that scene. I can only imagine what the little old ladies who entered and interrupted thought......

I am interested in the other stories of this series and can't wait to read them.

I was excited to get to this one, so when I was asked to be a part of this Blog Tour I jumped on it! It was a quick read and I cannot wait to find out what happens next!

Alistair Ingram is HOT and well how can you not want to take him and tie him up? I would LOVE to!

I had honestly thought that by the title alone that meant that it was about a Dom/Sub relationship but when it comes down to it is about 2 people who just seem so lost and don’t know who they truly are and start to find it within each other.

I will admit that it was a short read which leaves you wanting more and needing to know what happens. I need to know what happens with him and her as well as his ex and her ex. There is just so much that can happen and as much as I hate when I am left hanging like this I have to say “well played”! haha I do have a love/hate relationship with being left wondering what is to come.

The two of them together will make you gigle as well as have your heart break. It does touch on a subject matter that may be difficult for some to read because phyisical abuse no matter what the relationship dinamic is, is not okay.

Wow this was awesome!! Loved it!! Dolls and Doms is a private men's club where Black Betty works. Alistair Ingram, movie star hottie is there for his bachelor party!! One night with Black Betty and his world is turned upside down! This was really intense and edgy: emotions, feelings and actions. Black Betty is broken and hasn't felt much in ten years; however, one day with Alistair and she is questioning her carefully constructed facade. Alistair's engagement is broken and Betty's whereabouts are made known to her crazy ex after her night with the hunky movie star. Together they discover true passion, trust and hope but will it survive before it even begins? It's a wild ride for both and they discover once isn't enough for the both of them! This was an amazing novella!! I couldn't get enough of Bethany. She was very real: broken, hiding behind her alter ego so she wouldn't be hurt or vulnerable again. Alistair was cocky and very sexy, yet he showed a very caring and gentle side that was a total 180 from his Hollywood persona! Can't wait to read more of this series!!

I loved Alistair & Black Betty. What a dynamic duo.
I read this a couple of days ago. I'm still not sure what to say other then go grab it.. I don't want to let all the goodies out of the bag.
Alistair a Hollywood actor living the "dream". He's gorgeous, cocky and can get anything he wants. Before his wedding he goes to a Dolls & Dom for his bachelor party. Here he meets Black Betty, little did they know their lives were about to change.. After his time with Black Betty his whole life changes and she's gotten under his skin.
Black Betty, I love her. A Dom, who for the past 10 yrs has been running from her past. Two loser ex-husband and one she cant get rid of. As Black Betty shes assertive, strong and domineering. As Bethany she is not quite sure. Then a one kiss from Alistair changes everything. It ignites passion and senses she had locked away and thrown away the key.
This is a sexy fast paced novella. Two great characters the evolve right before your eyes..Don't let the title fool you. You will get more than Dolls and Doms.
I can not wait for more!

This is the first book I have read by Kelli Maine, I own the Give and Take series but just haven't found the time to read them yet. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I really loved Kelli's writing and I am looking forward to reading more of her books. I didn't put this novella down until I finished it, loved it! 3.5 stars

Alistair's bachelor party is held in "Dolls and Doms" a private gentleman's club, Alistair is a "pretty boy", cocky movie star who is used to getting what he wants, when he wants it. When he meets the clubs top dominatrix Black Betty both of their worlds are rocked and turned upside down. They become involved and it's a constant struggle of power, Betty is used to being dominant(has past relationship issues) and Alistair needs control. The question is who is going to give into the other first?

This was a quick, steamy, sexy read with a bit of a love story thrown in. I can't wait to see what is next for Alistair and Black Betty, until then be sure to pick up your copy!

Let's just say I love Betty she is one strong mouthed girl (just like me, well at times anyway) "Do you always pay people off when you f*** up? Is that how you make things better?" I mean really the girl speaks her mind people, "I'm not telling you my name, I'm not delving into my past with you, and I'm not going to serve as some pathetic charity case that you can help and get your ego off on." I was actually really surprised to see Alistair care for her only meeting her once, of course it could be the morals coming out (even though I thought he didn't have any...) "No. I don't care what kind of f***ed up kink you're into. You don't hit a woman." If you read between the lines of this book you realize it's about Alistair and Betty finding themselves through each other and it's actually really sweet. I hope there is another book coming in the series as the ending left some unanswered questions.

This was a fantastic novella that definitely left me wanting more!! I for sure will be following Dolls and Doms blogs!!

I was hooked from the start of this read, loved the attitudes, interactions, and chemistry between Alistair and “Black Betty” Alistair comes across as the arrogant and cocky Hollywood type, but quickly discover there is a much softer and caring side to this man. This combination makes him oh so hot and irresistible!!

Black Betty aka Bethany, tries to convince all that she is the bad ass dom she portrays for her job. Alistair sees through that to break down the walls of this broken woman, and convince her she can overcome her twisted past.

It was emotional, sexy, hot, and actually made me laugh out loud! Can not wait for more from Kelli Maine and more of Alistair and Bethany!!

Ohhhh I loved this novella. I had been waiting for what seemed like ages for this book to come out after reading a snippet in the back of a Katie Ashley novel, and it sooooo did not disappoint!!

I love Alistair and I love Black Betty and all that she becomes. I loved all the vulnerabilities that was woven into their story and the importanc eof trust that was required. And of course this book was hot hot hot and I loved that too. I was at times truly squirming in my seat and at other times giggling like a girl!!

I CAANOT WAIT for the rest of these books and to own the whole series.. so please please Kelli don't make us suffer to much!! :)

To start....every time I read the name Black Betty, I thought of BLACKBERRY! And I didn't understand but, are you suppose to go to a blog to keep reading about Alistair and Bethany? And what with all the "50 Shades of Grey" references and connotations? I'm so sorry, my apologies to the author...I commend you because I know it is not easy to write a book and you did, but I guess I got sidetracked somewhere.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this Novella!! Alistair and Black Betty have such a twisted troubled past that learning to trust each other might just break them...add in Black Betty's Ex and Allaistars manager as well as his Ex Fiance trouble is bound to happen! Kelli does an awesome job of drawing you in and keeping you immersed in the story of the submission of Alistair Ingram!

This was a great story! It was so nice to read a different side of BDSM! This was a great love story of 2 people with problems helping each other. I hope you have plans to continue the story. It's so much more for us to learn about the couple!

Great story! My only criticism is that I wish it was longer, but then that's hardly a criticism, it means I wanted to read more :-)
