The author of this book could benefit from taking a writing class. I'd re-write 80% of the sentences written in this book for the purposes of clarity because they are pretty badly written. The author is really bad at describing complex topics and all she does is to throw a bunch of terms at you. I felt like I was reading a dictionary when I was reading this book because for hundreds of pages, all you get is one biological term after another, one chemical term after another, each one explained more poorly than the one before. The author's lack of writing skills could make anyone lose interest in the topic. If I could give this "book" zero stars, I would.
This book is supposed to "teach" you Plant Biology but you probably have to have a master's degree in biology just to understand what it is talking about.
