Ryder Fallington is the absolute worst.
He's reserved, grumpy, and arrogant.

I've worked my whole life to be able to take the reins of our family company, but Ryder has decided his rightful place is as CEO of Glam Co.

We now have six months to fight it out before the board casts their vote. No Pressure or anything.

He doesn't even know the difference between concealer and contour, yet he thinks he can run this Makeup empire.

If he wants to play games, I'll win.

Glam Co is our legacy and it's time to get it back from the Blakes.
Livvy Blake thinks her family built everything alone a hundred years ago, but she's dead wrong.

I've worked for everything I have despite my legendary family name.

I'll prove I'm the better fit to the board.

If it means I have to get Sunshin-y Livvy to fall for me, so be it.
I'm the best man for the job.

Rating: somewhere between a 2.5 and a 3
Mood: Slightly confused, mildly entertained, lowkey frustrated but still kinda vibed?

Huge thanks to Caroline Masci & Love Notes PR for the ARC 💌

Okay so… where do I even start?

Enemies-to-lovers?
CEO war?
Grumpy vs sunshine?
Makeup empire?
YES PLEASE. I came in SO ready for the drama, the tension, the slow burn, the boardroom brawls laced with sexual tension. I was expecting juicy power plays, sharp banter, and that delicious enemies-to-lovers energy—and… well.
Let’s just say I got “Gossip Girl: The Wattpad Years.”

The premise? Pretty juicy.
Two legacy heirs—Livvy Blake and Ryder Fallington—are thrown into a 6-month CEO cage match to win control of Glam Co. Livvy’s sunshiney, determined, and a bit spoiled but she works for it. Ryder? He’s a grumpy, arrogant antihero with a vendetta and a face you’d want to slap or kiss depending on the page. They work together. They prank each other. They sabotage each other. They also... fall in lust. And maybe love? (questionable)

What I liked:
The banter was cute and punchy in the beginning. Had me giggling a bit.
The aesthetic of the world—beauty biz, glam wars, rich people problems—fun escape vibes.
Ryder being an emotionally constipated menace? Entertaining.
The spice? There. Definitely there.

But... ohhh there’s a but.

What had me screaming into the void:
The plot?? It felt like it lost itself halfway. Started with stakes and then just... fizzled.
Livvy. Girl. GIRL. Sometimes I loved her, other times I wanted her to stop talking.
Ryder’s plan to win CEO? What plan?? Man was just brooding and seducing. That’s not strategy, dude.
The romance pacing was whiplash. One minute it’s enemies, the next it’s “I’d die for you.”
Also Livvy forgiving her sister THAT fast after that betrayal??? Nope. Couldn’t buy it.
And don’t even get me started on some of the side characters. Literal background noise.

Final thoughts:
This book had so much potential—like, I can SEE the vibes it was trying to give. The chaos, the heat, the sass. But it just didn’t quite stick the landing for me. The bones are there, but it needed more tension, more believable character growth, and WAY tighter writing.

Would I recommend it?
Maybe. If you’re in the mood for a spicy, dramatic office romance with a lot of fluff and some teen soap energy, give it a go.
But if you want high-stakes enemies-to-lovers with rich character arcs? You might wanna skip.

Spice rating? 3.5/5
Drama rating? 2.5/5
Annoyance level? …high, but fun
Overall? A little messy, kinda hot, kinda frustrating, still readable.

Make Me… kinda mad, kinda entertained.

My first ARC!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Tropes include:
💘 office rivals
💘enemies to lovers
💘forced proximity
💘grumpy x sunshine

This book is a dual POV of two rivals competing for the role of CEO at a cosmetics company known as Glam Co, which is currently owned by the Blake family, specifically Livvy. However, she has competition when Ryder Fallington also decides to go for the role, resorting them to do whatever it takes to get what they want. If you enjoy more comedic and fast paced books this 100% the perfect read for you!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, the character development was so perfect as we got to see Livvy and Ryder’s whole relationship develop from rivals to lovers!

I was slightly worried i wouldn’t like the whole pranking each other part of the book as its not usually my thing when i read, however i did actually find myself enjoying it, as it was quite lighthearted and easy to read

I also really enjoyed the insight we got into the other characters personalities as well, it makes me so excited for the next books in this series to be released

also this book is released on the 29th sep so if this seems interesting make sure to check it out!!

thank you lovenotes.pr and Caroline for this arc!! 🩷

3.5 ⭐️ first of all I want to thank Love Notes PR for this ARC. I did enjoy this book, but there are a few things that don’t sit right with me. 1. There are some spelling mistakes 2. Some parts are difficult to follow and not everything is explained clearly enough. I think that the idea behind this book is really good, but it could have been written better in my opinion… BUT like I said in de beginning I did like this book overall!

thank you to lovenotes pr for the arc copy in exchange for my honest review 💌

i had very high hopes for this one, and although a few moments had me smiling, it just didn’t hit

the author has real potential and this book could have been better if the fmc didn’t read like a spoiled teenage girl. she’s my age irl and the whole time it had me thinking she was feuding in a high school drama

what i did like was getting to hear the backstory and the way the makeup company had been developed. it was a cool plot and concept but unfortunately the whole book just fell flat for me

[ ARC Review ]

Thank you Love Notes PR and Caroline Masci for the ARC! ♥️

Here is my review. Well I enjoyed reading at least the first half of the book. The banter between Olivia and Ryder was great, especially during their first encounter. However, as I got into the other half of the book I felt the plot was falling apart and became boring. The way Olivia forgave her sister easily after the cheating incident with her ex-bf got me mad and over time Olivia just became so annoying.

*~*~*~*~*

Above are a few tropes that you’ll find within ‘Make Me’ and are the main tropes that I adored.

Before starting my review, I would like to thank Love Notes PR for allowing me this story as an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Please note that my opinions and views are mine and only mine.

*~*~*~*~*

"𝗕𝗮𝗯𝘆, 𝗜 𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝗜 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗶𝘁." 𝗛𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺. "𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁? 𝗬𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝗢𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗸𝗲."

Can we just appreciate the above quote? It is incredibly beautiful and I would do anything for a man to talk to me like that, excuse me while I swoon.

*~*~*~*~*

Olivia (Livvy) Blake is someone who’s put sweat and blood into her work to reach the position that she’s in, groomed and prepped into the role she’s desperate to earn, she’s ready to prove herself.

Ryder Fallington comes across as your cliche business man who finds it easy with the ladies and likes his scotch. Money is no object to him and he’s ready to right a wrong, if only people knew just how wonderful he truly is.

Positive Points:

1. The family tree at the start is SUPER HELPFUL. I’m someone who needs visual things to understand things better and the family tree allowed me to refer back to the start when confused by how people related. It was a game changer and different to see!

2. While there were some cliches within the story, I like how the author strayed and changed each cliche one way or another, especially in regards to the plot! I love that while Ryder and Olivia were rivals, they kept things professional and funny rather than allowing things to turn sour and harsh.

3. The pranks were absolutely hilarious and I love the humour. Even during the moments that break your heart, there will be a character who makes that moment that little be better!

4. The plot twist! I was not EXPECTING things to go that way and was a little shell shocked! It was nice to see things done the way that they were and how friends rallied around one another in their times of need!

5. The relationships between Livvy and Ryder’s friends alongside Ryder, his brother and dad. All the relationships bar two in the story were beautiful and relatable in some sort of way.

6. Chronic Illness representation. It was nice to see some knowledge bought to life about a chronic illness and how it affected others who were close to a certain family member.

7. Mental Health representation. To see anxiety represented in the presence of a voice in the head was incredibly relatable and helpful to read about. Some people fail to realise that when a mental illness gets so bad, it can become a voice in your head, one that leaves you feeling horrible and low. It was something I understood very well and allowed me to feel what Livvy was feeling at times.

*~*~*~*~*

If you haven’t noticed, I adored the story. It was full of wonderful and heartfelt moments that had me in awe and occasionally snorting at something funny. I adored the characters and felt connected to Livvy in a couple of ways. It breaks my heart that some people have found Livvy to be spoilt and annoying. I find the woman to be strong and powerful. She did not get to where she was without having to prove herself, she put everything into her work and the passion she has is clear from the get go. She’s not spoilt, she’s not cynical, she’s incredibly down to earth and genuine. I want nothing but the best for her.

Ryder was an ass at the start but man did I fall for him quicker than a rain drop falling from a cloud. He is the perfect man for Livvy and the respect he has for women in business is something to admire. While other men are misogynists, Ryder is one who defends a woman and constantly reminds others of the power they hold within the business world, one where men often think they run it.

I can’t say that Ryder is perfect, he did some things that shouldn’t of been forgiven so easily, but he had good intentions and I have the upmost respect for him in what he did in when getting to know Livvy.

The intimacy between Livvy and Ryder warmed my heart. While it started with a night of passion, it soon turned into a beautiful relationship that wasn’t based on sex but rather two people learning more about one another and exploring the perfect chemistry between them. The heartfelt conversations, the meaningful moments, the inside jokes, everything was perfect and I was in awe of them both.

*~*~*~*~*

Negative points:

1. Devin and Olivia’s father. I felt that Devin and her father were forgiven way too easily for the way they have acted numerous times. It felt as if Olivia was a little bit of a mug, and while Devin redeemed herself in my eyes, I think Olivia should’ve made them both work for her forgiveness.

2. While the plot twist was good, I figured out who the person behind the unhappy moment was way too easily. It was practically handed to you by the author and it would’ve been nice to continue guessing right until the very end rather than find out instantly.

3. The third act break up… I WAS SO INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATED WITH THIS. Everything was going perfectly and I truly thought the story would end without a third act break up, and then when it finally happened I questioned why. Livvy and Ryder were in such a strong place within their relationship, there was so much trust established, why didn’t she realise sooner that Ryder would never hurt her or do anything to jeopardise her future? I understand her anxiety, but it looked as if he trusted her more and she gave up too easily on him.

*~*~*~*~*

All in all, I absolutely LOVED this story and I will never understand how people could DNF it or rate it low. It’s now one of my favourites and I CANNOT wait for the second instalment of the series. There are way more positives than negatives to ‘Make Me’ and I encourage everyone who’s a romcom lover to read this story. And finally, I would be over the moon if ‘Make Me’ was an actual app because I’m so basic with makeup, and I would love to know Olivia!

❤️ ARC REVIEW

🤎 Wow, I'm absolutely thrilled to express my gratitude for this ARC! This book has undeniably been one of the highlights of my reading list this year, and I say that with absolute confidence.

📚 In this story, the two main characters, Ryder and Livvy, both have their sights set on becoming the CEO of Glam Co, a cosmetics company owned by the Blake family. It's a fact that they are enemies, and they don't hold back when it comes to playing pranks on each other to gain the upper hand.

👀 If you're a fan of witty and fast-paced reads, this book should unquestionably find a place on your "tbr" list!

⏳ Don't forget to mark your calendar for its release on September 29th!

I literally loved this book so much! It made me laugh and it just made me happy to read. I was fully invested in the characters from the start and the dual POV made it so much easier.
Ryder is so dreamy and everything you want in a MMC. Livvy reminds me a lot of myself and what I strive to be and I really think the author captured what anxiety can feel like sometimes.
It had a slowish burn as well but I was living for it, it was just the right amount. I loved the book all the way through and I don’t have any bad critiques on it.
Thank you so much to Love Notes PR and Caroline Masci for the ARC I will 100% be reading the next book.

This book is a perfect read for you when you are into billionaire romance / grumpy x sunshine vibes! I love how familiar this book feels like yet so unique when it comes to the description of the story. Basically, Livvy is a smart girl and she aims to be the CEO of Glam Co. which is a makeup company and here comes her rival Rider, who also wants to be the CEO of this company. So they’ll compete with each other to see who’s better at those things and sometimes it can also be funny. This is the kind of book where it also addresses different issues but it isn’t that heavy so if you want books to make your heart feel happy, you should go for this one. Also, you can bring this to your travel because it’s just so light and kinda spicy to be honest. But I’m looking forward to Kendall’s lovelife and she is so so me. I could totally see myself in here. It’s also a medium paced read and you’ll not get bored of it especially when you’re into billionaire romance and that’s for sure. So if you guys are looking for a hot yet fun book to read, then you should definitely go and hit up this one. 🤎

Thank you for this ARC Caroline & Love Notes PR! 💌

This damn book nearly got me fired!

I LOVED IT!

It’s giving Romeo and Juliet but make it luxury!
The petty revenge, the family feud, the stay crossed lover!!
I could not put this book down and finished it in one sitting!

This is genuinely the best book I’ve read in a long time!

Thank you Love Notes PR for the arc. However I cannot make it through this one. Olivia is the most annoying fmc I have ever encountered. I cannot stand either POV, it’s either spoiled rich bitch or billionaire pig. I feel like this requires some editing, I’m only 10 chapters in and there’s been quite a few spelling errors.

Spice: 2.5🌶️

I would like to thank the author & Love Notes PR for the eARC opportunity. Like always, this review is voluntary & honest.

Okay, I really enjoyed this book! The romcom vibes, the romance, the banter, the spice. This was giving more rivals to lovers than enemies to lovers, but the moments where they tried to one up one another were overall entertaining.

The best way to describe this romance is lust at first sight? Now it wasn’t an insta-love situation but they did fall for one another quickly. But again, this was a more fast paced book that focused on the fun vibes in their rivalry turned love story and I really liked that.

Both Livvy and Ryder experienced the life of the older sibling in a powerful & influential family, who would also become the heir & take over their family’s companies. But also, a rivalry between their families that was on going for 100ish years pits them against one another for the position as CEO in the beauty company both families believe they deserve to keep.

Neither one of them like to lose & they also never back down from a fight. So it seems like they’ve finally met their match right? Livvy & Ryder were such a cute couple, so supportive and you could just tell they were soulmates. The spark between one another & their spice was PERFECTION because of their chemistry with one another.

The side characters, I loved them all. The friend group had a found family aspect to it that I adored. I’m truly hoping we get books for all members in their group since I just know their own love stories will have me smiling nonstop too!

Overall, this was a cute & fun read with some steamy spice! It was fast paced and entertaining all around so I truly recommend it if this sounds like a book you’d enjoy! 🩷

I really enjoyed reading this book!!! I think it was a great introduction to this new series. I hope we read Zander's story next 🩷🩷🩷

I really liked Livvy as a main fmc. She is beautiful, driven, and has such a kind soul. It was great to see the friendships she has, Kendall is amazing and exactly the kind of person Livvy needs in her life. It was beautiful to see Livvy and her sister have a better understanding of each other.

Ryder was an interesting character. He was so determined that he would get Glam Co, but then a certain beautiful brunette waltzes into his life, and he can't get her out of his head or his heart...

Livvy and Ryder together were great. I love their banter, they are really funny... The spicy scenes between Ryder and Livvy were also 😍😍😍 I wish that we saw a little more one on one time between Livvy and Ryder separate to Glam Co to get a true sense of them as a couple.

I can't wait to see the shenanigans that come next in the Elites of Cheshire Shore series 😏😏😏 I really loved all the side characters, I hope we get the chance to read about them all ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you so much to Caroline and Love Notes PR for giving me the opportunity to ARC read. I really appreciate it. All opinions are my own 😊

Big thanks to Love Notes PR and the author for providing me with the ARC!

I absolutely enjoyed this, and I've been in the mood for a workplace romance where the couple really can't stand each other from the first moment. All my wishes came true. This was charming, entertaining, hilarious, and steamy!
We have:
💄 family adversaries
💄 workplace romance
💄 rivals to lovers
💄 steamy chemistry
💄 pranks
💄 dual pov

The shift between them being at their throats to lovers felt soooo natural, I loved them checking each other out at first, being hesitant, and then making the relationship work... And not to mention the pranks! That had to be one of my favorite parts, and I laughed at loud at some parts. The only thing I would've loved is maybe steamy scenes that are a bit more... detailed, as in... longer. With maybe a bit more dirty talk? But you know, that's just me being thirsty. If you're looking for a funny, at times silly read, don't skip this one.
I can't wait for other books in this series!

3.5 ✨

One thing about Make Me, it was witty, cute and fun. Oops, I ended up saying three things.

This book was so easy to like. The banter was top notch. I laughed every time they argued. And the pranks they pulled on each other? Perfect ✨

I want to thank Love Notes PR for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.

Characters? Livvy and Ryder are definitely made for each other. They both know how to get on each other’s nerves lol. And Ryder’s character development was peak impressive. He went from “idc about my enemy” to “lover boy” real quick.

And the only reason why I didn’t give this book 5 stars is because it felt too fast, the whole progress of enemies to lovers was so quick that it came off unrealistic. I wanted to read more about livvy hating ryder, the glares, the animosity and the sexual tension before I dived into the sweet stuff.

I want more Livvy and Ryder domestic fluff please. Caroline Masci, I am so invested in this series. I can’t wait to see where the author will take this series but i am ready for the ride.

thank you so much to caroline and lovenotes for sending me this wholesome book, it was such a fun and entertaining read!

tropes:
💄 workplace romance
💄 rival families
💄 enemies to lovers
💄 constant banter
💄 forced proximity

if you’re a sucker for all of these tropes, i have a feeling you’ll love this book.
one of my favorite things about it was definitely the comedic aspect. i loved livvy and ryder’s constant banter and pranks, it was super entertaining.

‘make me’ tells the story of two rival families in the cosmetic industry: the blakes (livvy’s family) and the fallingtons (ryder’s family). they are both running for the CEO position at GlamCom and that’s why the banter and the pranks take place.

livvy was hands down one of my favorite fmc, i loved how strong, empowered and how passionate she is about her family’s company.

i honestly thought i would hate ryder when i read the first few chapters but i ended up loving him so much (despite some situations obviously).

their relationship development was so amazing, from enemies to colleagues to lovers and i adored every single minute of it.

it was a easy and light read and i absolutely loved it. can’t wait to read the rest of the series and see how the storyline develops.

once again, thank you so much to caroline for trusting me with livvy and ryder’s story ❤️

This is book 1 in the Elite of Cheshire Shore series. I read book 2 last year and really enjoyed Rome’s book.

This is Ryder and Olivia’s book.

Olivia wants to become the next CEO of Glam Co. It’s been in the Blake family for a few decades and she’s put all her time, effort and love for cosmetics into it.

But according to the Fallington family, Glam Co belongs to them. Ryder has been trying for a while to finally get an in into the Glam Company and take over. Make it a Fallington Company again. What he didn’t take into consideration: Olivia “Livvy” Blake.

These two! Loved, loved the pranks, the banter and the undeniable chemistry between Livvy and Ryder.

The close knit group of friends and cousins makes the side characters a great support group and I can’t wait for their HEA!

I would like to thank the author and Love Notes PR for the opportunity to receive a copy of this book and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

The banter in this book is 👏🏻TOP 👏🏻FREAKING😘 TIER 👏🏻 it is so dang good! The tension, the spice, the rivalry between Livvy and Ryder… it does not disappoint!
Their rivalry is one that has been going on between their families for 100 years. Continuing with them when a wrench is thrown into their lives and the family businesses pitting them against each other as the vie for the top spot. It is a hilariously fun read filled with them pranking each other- it starts with an extremely unfortunate lip plumping gloss situation and an itching powder infused dry shampoo from there it only gets better. 🤣 Their chemistry and tension builds and builds throughout the book and it is what RomCom dreams are made of! Absolutely love it - rivals turned lovers who fall head over heels for each other ❤️ I can’t wait for the other books in this series!

“To those that hold our hand extra tight when they know we need it most.”
That dedication at the start of the book instantly pulled me in.

This book has enemies to lovers, office romance, and forced proximities.
I fell in love with Livvy & Ryder, this book had me laughing out loud, crying, and rooting for them the second I met them. I loved every prank/sabotage they set on each other, and how they always kept that separate when they were out of the office.

Caroline left no stone unturned, answered every question I had throughout the story, and definitely left the opportunity to create a series I’m already desperate to read (can we please start with Kendall?!)

I was given an advance copy of this book for my honest review, thank you to Caroline & Love Notes PR for choosing me! 💌

Major thanks to Caroline and Love Notes PR for giving me the amazing opportunity to read the ARC of this!

I absolutely loved this book, it had everything for me. I loved the way the rivalry was established, the way we got a backstory that was decent in length in regards to the feud between the Blakes and the Fallingtons. Something else I enjoyed was that it didn’t really take long for Livvy and Ryder to find each other attractive.

Something else I particularly enjoyed was how I could very much relate to Livvy as a character. We’re the same age, and she often struggled with bouts of insecurity the same way I do, as well as her feeling like second best to her sister (I know that was only after the business with that a-hole Kyle, but still).

This book had everything I enjoy about romance novels and I am so grateful to be given the opportunity to read it in advance. Big thanks again to Caroline and Love Notes PR.

Thank you to Love Notes PR for my arc of this book !

This was a cute book, I liked the banter between the couple, however I felt as though that was the best part about their relationship.

Unfortunately, I didn’t fully believe in their love and found Livvy to be quite annoying in parts which did slightly hinder my reading experience.

I don’t feel as though the writing was as good as it could have been. It was okay to read, however it did feel slightly immature.

Overall, this was a cute book and perhaps, if you are new to reading, this book would be good for you ! I just didn’t completely click with it !

I loved this! I've never read anything like this before and it was one of the funniest books I've read in a long time.

I loved Livvy, I thought she was very relatable and her penchant for proverbial toilet paper on her shoe the like whole novel was absolutely epic and hilarious.

The make-up company was so cool! Having everything revolve around a company whose main target audience is women was also unusual imo. It was welcome and refreshing that Ryder was able to admit he didn't know sh*t about skincare and whatnot, and his willingness to participate and learn was such great character building. Personally, I have a man like him, and it was nice to see a dude be willing to put a face mask on to learn about the products of the company regardless of being in a designer suit in a book.

I've also never seen sabotage in a rivals type book before like this, and I've never seen toilet humor like this which you'd think wouldn't be that funny but the whole situation was so hilarious I couldn't breathe while reading it and may have woken my house's tyrant (she's 14 months) laughing aloud.

I loved the romance between Livvy and Ryder. His support of her goals and dreams was amazing and their f-it moment where he was like "oh thank god" at her confession was adorable and made me feel like squealing and kicking my feet.

This book was amazing and I can't wait for the next one!! Thank you for the ARC 🥰

I would like to say a big thank you to Love Notes PR and the author for providing me with an advanced copy of this book.

While debating on my next read and being unable to decide on a book; I recevied a wonderful email from Love Notes PR with the ARC copy of Make Me By Caroline Masci. Of course I had to start reading right away. It felt like fate!

If you love office romances, enemies to lovers and spice; be sure to preoder this book as it's all those things and more!

The story follows the elite members of Cheshire Shore, specifically Livvy who is set to become the CEO of her family makeup company Glam Co. Of course as it is in any book or story, a beautiful rival and enemy tries to take her dream away from her. - Especially with such a hot name ..... RYDER!

Throuhgout the story the author portrays anxiety and panic attacks in a well observed manor. It is good to see that the characters she has created aren't perfect and do still have their issues and flaws. Most of her characters were loveable, with big range of personalities that made the book in to what it is, a masterpiece! The witty humour was addictive and made me laugh out loud....which if you know me, I don't do often.

The only flaw I found with this book was the amount of time the author uses the well known phrase of "I let out the breath I didn't know I was holding" this became rather comical. If I counted right, the phrase was used at least 5 times; as a person who doesn't enjoy reading this phrase once in a book, I wasn't a big fan. - Since the book was very good, I can ignore this little mishap!

Overall, I loved this book and would pick it up and reread right now if I didn't have a few more ARCs to finish this month. I cannot wait until book 2, I need to know what else happens to the Elites of Cheshire Shore. - I sometimes wonder why I read ARCs especially knowing that I won't get to read the next book for quite some time...It's always worth it though!

I definietly recommend giving this book a go, it is fast paced and a great. Hopefully you will fall in love with the characters as much as me.

Thank you Caroline for writing this wonderful novel.

(Olivia) Livvy Blake is an incredible and strong businesswoman. Who is destined to become the CEO of Glam Co but her enemy Ryder Fallington steals her dream out of her hands.

This book is amazing and portrays mental health and anxiety disorders beautifully. I adore all the characters and the banter between Ryder and Livvy.

If you like enemies to romance, office romances and found family you definitely should check it out!

Thank you Love Notes PR and Caroline Masci for the ARC.
While the premise of this book initially intrigued me, there was something about it that just didn't work for me in the end.

I loved the banter between Livvy and Ryder, but sometimes the plot just fell a little flat. The book was sweet and the author has real potential for wonderful books in the future.

livvy and ryder end up competing for the ceo role at glam co while also battling years of a generational feud. they’ve been told their whole lives that blakes and fallingtons are rivals, and yet they somehow find themselves falling in love. the office pranks were hilarious…let’s just say laxatives were involved 💀😭💩 if you’re looking for a fun, fast-paced workplace romance I suggest checking it out! with so many other characters in this book, I’m excited for the rest of this series! 🤭🫶🏽

two stars if i'm being nice bc there were like three cute moments. everything else was rushed, dialogue was awkward/corny, and PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DID NO ONE EDIT THIS BOOK? it read like a first draft oh my lord. the grammar/spelling mistakes were in EVERY OTHER SENTENCE. it was a struggle to read. 😭 almost DNFed it but i felt bad.
