emotionally upsetting. I can't decide how I feel about Trevor. Hate him for a lot but he was sooo good for so long I just don't get it. His character confuses me. He was sweet & loyal then all of a sudden not. I hope the next book clears up some loose ends like the three week thing and why he did what he did after so much work to gain her trust. Also he wasn't very smart for doing it in a place he was sure to get caught. I don't know the ending was very bittersweet. I'm glad she moved on & found happiness but it was rushed. Just so many questions & things that don't add up.

I really liked the book until the end! I really loved the relationship between Macy and Trevor and thought that it was very romantic and sweet. although with out any spoilers I wish the end was different. I felt that Macy made some choices that were rash and I was literally broken hearted. I feel like the author should write an alternate ending. I was hoping for that happy ending with Trevor. Even after everything I am still team Trevor! I feel like she could have at least given them a chance to try and talk it out! but maybe that's just me. I am a happy ending type of girl.

What was that? You invest a character in a book and not just a character but a couple and it ends like that? I don't even know what I am thinking right now. How can the entire book be about this couple and all of a sudden she's happily forever with some random dude. Why did we waste our time watching these two grow and experience things to have it end that way. What a huge disappointment. I regret reading it as soon as that last page flipped. No mention about what happened to Trevor and he just disappears? I wish I could get my money back.

This is one of those books which I found the reviews (even the innocent ones who attempted to not give anything away) a disservice. Ultimately I have decided not to finish the book and it is only the second time in 250 books to do this. The writing was good, the story was good although emotionally difficult to fathom at times. I honestly don't know if it was the story line straight after a different emotional read, the chaos of my life at the time of starting or the reviews that lead me to my decision to not finish at this time. I tried I really did but have stopped at a "happy enough" place in the book.

It might just be me I might be too much of a whimp to keep going especially after a very short few word review which ultimately sealed my decision.

I would read another book by this author. I think the purpose of this review is for those of you out there, like me, who can read a few reviews before a book be careful with the reviews on this one wherever they may be. You may find it spoiled before or during the read.

Never Enough will pull you in from the first word.

Macy is a young woman who has had something horrific happen to her that no young woman should ever have to face. She drinks to numb the pain until she meets rocker Trevor and he opens her eyes to see that she can love and accept love.

Trevor has been in love with Macy since before they shared their first kiss, but sometimes love just isn’t enough to sustain a relationship after a tragedy.

Trevor understands what it is like not to have the ideal family since he grew up in foster care. He thinks that he has found that with Macy but then tragedy strikes and everything falls apart.

This book is heart wrenching and will have you laughing and crying. I loved the story line but was a little disappointed with the ending. I was also happy to see that there is a sequel in the works because I would love to see the rest of the story for Macy.

This is Ashley Johnson’s first book but I like her style and will read more of what she writes in the future.

I really liked this book. However, as I was reading it, I kept thinking "this would never happen"... until the end. And OMG - I am still pissed at the ending. I think that is why it has taken me over a week to post a review.

This book deals with SO many issues, and I think it does and awesome job of dealing with them in realistic ways. Yes, I know that I just said that some of the book didn't seem realistic, but it was more the day to day stuff that I had issues with, not the issues part of the book.

I wish more of us had protective uncles that owned bars - I know I could have used one at that age.

Macy starts a new life with her uncle. On rule, don't date Trevor James the lead singer of the house band at Gary's bar. What’s the worst that could happen – oh a broken heart.

I liked this book because it was real. This happens every day. Broken girl falls and puts all of her trust in a guy and he breaks her all over again. Only Macy is strong enough than most characters. She wasn’t going to be a victim to anyone.

Wow! Once you fall for Trevor – he breaks your heart too.

OMG. What an emotional rollercoaster of a book! I even yelled at my husband when he tried getting my attention after she caught Trevor cheating on her! Can't believe he fucked up so bad. Broke my heart reading it. I was happy with her ending up with Luke he seemed sweet and with his history you knew he'd treat her like a queen, however i do wish their story continued a bit longer I really wanted to know what they'd get up to.

Read it in one day but was a little slow for me.
And why is it that when something bad happens the guy is always the first one to run to some "tramp", get caught then apologize and profess their undying love!
I mean really if you were that in love you would have never ran to someone else!!!! You made your bed no lie in it!!!!!!!!

This was a really good book. I won't go into detail of why I didn't give 5 stars. I'll just say, it hit very close to home, and it made me so upset, that I nearly broke my phone when I slammed it down on the dresser to stop reading. I should give it 5, but I just can't.

I see there's a 2nd book, so i'm going to check it out. lol.

I feel like this was written by a 15 year old. Run on sentences and grammar/punctuation errors. And the story was unrealistic. Nobody just "gets over" being raped and losing a child. At least not in a few days! Skip this read...it's not worth it.

DNF after reading 50%. The whole thing seemed pointless and the characters lacked depth
