The Billionaire's Beck and Call: The Complete Series

Rate this book
The best-selling erotic romance series from Delilah Fawkes is now available in one delicious volume!

Isabeau Willcox is just the temp at the front desk, so when the mysterious, sexy and notoriously ill-tempered CEO, Chase Drake asks her to be his executive assistant, she's sure there's been some sort of mistake. However, Mr. Drake wants her, and Mr. Drake always gets what he wants.

When she enters his employ, she agrees to be at his beck and call, to be his, but what exactly does that entail? When he punishes her for breaking his rules by bending her over his desk, she realizes she may be in for more than she bargained for.

Isabeau is introduced into Chase Drake's world, learning about his darker side, including his secret sex dungeon and deliciously naughty toys that spark her imagination and make her knees weak. He shackles her and makes her his slave, bringing her to heights she never imagined. But when he asks to make their arrangement more permanent, she remembers how quickly he's dismissed previous assistants, and wonders if she can give him the trust he craves.

A bad boy business partner, a dangerous secret, and Isabeau's conflicted heart threaten to end it all before it's even begun. Suspenseful action and a romance that will leave your heart, and other places, aching for more weave throughout this story of two different lovers from two very different worlds.

This complete version of The Billionaire's Beck and Call series comes with a bonus story: My Best Friend's Brother.

I won this on here on Goodreads.

Here is what I think. This book had so much potential. The problem was that there wasn't much of a story line. It was probably 85-90% sex. Which left me wishing that there was more of a build up for their relationship. What was their relationship other than sex? In fact the beginning was kinda weird. Isa is called into Mr.Drakes office ( I believe this was the first day they met, keep that in mind) and poor Isa is eating her cup of soup and spills it all over her blouse when he yells for her. Since Mr. Drake is such a control freak of course he see it and is pissed. Here's what happens.... Ready.. he tells her to bend forward and lean onto his desk where he pulls her skirt up and proceeds to spanks her with a bruising force( her words) Oh and cause shes moaning he decided a little finger play as well and gets mad at her for it. Seriously???? That had me thinking sexual harassment. Then poor Isa stews all day because he says he was sorry and outta line and it wont happen again. So she pretty much begs him to do it again. That was the start of their relationship. Apparently its cool to have all kinds of sex at work too. Blow jobs under desks while Mr. Drake is in a meeting and he has toys in there as well.Well Ok then.

The only thing that saved it was the awesome sex scenes. They were creative and none were the same. I really liked the dungeon. Although he seemed kinda rough at first.Isa says bruising a lot.

There was a kinda sorta plot for someone wanting Isa that didn't really go to far, then there was embezzlement but that was towards the very end and that wasn't really fleshed out. I would have loved to learn something or anything really about Mr. Drake. All you know is that he is a control freak and he likes really kinky sex. His mom is a stuck up bitch. These two never really had any kind of deep conversations at all. But oh well I guess it all works out in the end.

First off, I won my copy of this book via a giveaway hosted by Goodreads.

Four of my favorite things rolled into one story-line long enough to satisfy but short enough to be an easy read... Jackpot. Mix romance with smut, BDSM, and intrigue and what do you get? The Billionaire's Beck and Call: The Complete Series. A masterful work with a fair balance of the various elements in the story, this was a very steamy read that swept me up in the passion and oh so incindiary display of emotions.

This was Aweful! Character's were very flat, nondimensional and very unbelievable. If all you are looking for is Dom/Sub sex and little else, then go ahead and read it. But the story was just terrible. "Anything He Wants" was soooooo much better. I almost stopped reading after 3 chapters. I put it down, then said to just give it another try, maybe it will get better. I hate leaving books unfinished. I so wish I didn't finish.

This was a decent read. Lots of sex, a little suspense, some romance as well. It wish it had been a little longer but I thought that overall it was a pretty good read.

I think the author is going to expand the series with a new book about Isa's sister, so I will probably read along with the series as it's developed.

The Billionaire's Beck and Call: The Complete Series, by Delilah Fawkes, is an easy reader. This type of book is to read on a cold day, because it will heat everything up. It has an adult subject matter. I received a book for free through Goodreads First Reads.

This is one of those 80% erotic books, written for a more adult and less conservative readers. The writing is fluid and easy to read and the course of action is very well built and described. Above all, it is one of those books made to increase the heartbeat of the reader.
The whole story is narrated from the point of view of Isabeau, or Isa, so we have a slightly conditioned view about the characters that arise. I think that's what makes us feel more connected with her throughout history.
The characters aren’t perfectly designed, they lack a certain depth and consistency in actions and thoughts, but that does not ruin them completely. Isa is an innate submissive, serving others almost without realizing that she does it, and Chase is a domineering, native of a wealthy family and familiarized with other people to obey him without blinking. Here is where I found the biggest failure, since the Chase has no reason to be domineering and masochistic and spends the whole story asking Isa to trust him. I honestly do not quite understand...
The story itself is not much that differentiates it from any other that deals with the subject dominant / submissive, but I note an effort to improve this aspect more in the end of the story. The love between Isa and Chase will gradually growing, although I think it could have been handled in a more profound and less sexual way. One of the most annoying things I should mention is the fact that Isa never stops thinking about her beloved as Mr. Drake, which is strange when they engage in a more personal way. Allied to this, the fact that the story reminds of a crappy version of the trilogy "The Fifty Shades", rather devalues the writing of the author.
Nevertheless, I think it is a good book for those who like the style so I can’t help advising it.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. The storyline isn’t new, so I wasn’t sure what to expect; after reading a little bit I got sucked in really quickly. The writing is good and the characters thought out. I would have liked more detail into everything, but the original format didn’t allow that, so it worked. (I would definitely read another version of this story rewritten in a full novel form.) The characters seemed true, and the author explained things well. There was an authenticity to it that made it believable, not someone who has no experience with what they are writing relaying what they imagine would happen, all the while using complete sentences, and lacking swearing. I also loved the fact they she used the spelling “CUM,” it wasn’t until I read it that I realized I missed it in other books.
I am a poor single mom, I can barely afford internet in my apartment let alone a kindle, and then the extra charges per eBook, so I loved that this was put into print. (When depressed about lack of child support, read erotica to clear your mind!) It was also nice to get the whole story in one chunk. Overall I liked the book, but I have to admit I was caught off guard by the last two chapters. I am torn as to if this is the authors fault, a publisher who wanted a “storyline,” or just how it worked out. It seemed like there was a whole story in them that had been hinted at but never fully caught on. It seemed unnecessary, their relationship building could have been plot enough. I also wasn’t sure how I felt about the whole office scene, I couldn’t quite get the image of Howard Stern’s Sybian/studio out of my head.
So I give it a 3.5, with a boost to a 4 because there aren’t half stars and what can I say, it was a first-reads, with a card from the author, I’m a sucker for that kind of thing. Chapters 1 – 7 were good, I would definitely read this in an extended version, and will look for other writing by this author. Thanks!

Very good BDSM romance

I liked this very much, it was intense and filled with emotions, I had it in audiobook and I was a little disappointed by the voice reading but not so much so I stopped listening.

The storyline is good, good build up and nice ending, I always like a HEA.

Well described characters and good love scenes made this in to a fun read.

At times I didn't like mr. Drake because he was a little to arrogant but he grew on me. And Isabeau was a little mouse in the beginning in my opinion but she ended up being a strong women.

5 stars and I would like to read more from this author.

This book is about Chase, the handsome billionaire and his temp Isa. They are from two different worlds, he's rich, she is not rich and the attraction is immediate. Too immediate. The characters were together so quickly that you really don't know much about them at all. There wasn't any building of the relationship or the individual characters. There was, however, lots and lots of sex. But the story line was too fast and too simple. It could have been a really good book had the characters been more developed. Very quick read.

This book is an easy and sexy read. It's straight to the point, with no fillers. The story deals with the characters here and now, there's no background on either of them. You don't really know much about them so it's almost like you are watching them through a window.

I enjoyed it and would recommend it if you are looking for a quick read that doesn't get too deep. If you want a book where you can get your teeth into the characters and know everything about them then this isn't the book for you!

I received my copy as a First Reads winner and started reading practically the moment I opened it in the mail. I was disappointed at first. I thought the first novella in the series, "At Your Service" was a bit abrupt and moved too fast, but from there on in, I was hooked. My biggest complaint would be that it was only 275 pages long. There was so much more to the story the I wish had been explored, if for no other reason than to allow me to hang out with Chase and Isa a little while longer..

I usually enjoy this type of book but this one was just not cutting it for me. There was very little character development (if any) and what I did see from the characters I didn't like much. There was little to the story except the BDSM and I wish there was a bit more romance and depth to the storyline. It seemed very rushed in the beginning. It got a bit better towards the end and I am curious enough to continue with the series and I am hoping it gets better.

This was a good book, I just felt a little disappointed. I felt like the story could go so much deeper. I really did like the plot and the characters but felt like there was too much sex and not enough story. I believe there is a spin-off coming from this series and I will probably pick that up as well.

A little bit of a shaky start with the typical arrogant Company boss who takes liberties with the timid temp, such that I nearly didn’t read any further, but it gets better and is an easy and entertaining read, though why she continues to call him Mr Drake all the way through is a mystery greater than that within the plot. 3.5* rounded up.

When I started it, I thought it was going to read just like 50 shades, but it was very good. The plot was good, and it had a good twist in it with the characters. It was also super hot!!! I thought it was an excellent quick read, and would recommend it to my friends who love this genre.

I give this book 3 1/2 stars. I enjoyed this book, but found that there was not much leading into the whole plot. It seemed to be missing to much of a beginning. Isa and Mr. Drake were wonderful characters that you immediately liked. I just wish there was more information (background).

Not bad all in all. The storyline is so similar to many others that are available at the moment I think I would have liked it to be a little different.

It did piss me off that Isa basically always referred to Chase as Mr Drake even in her subconscious.

There was just a lot of sex, I kept waiting fer the story to start. the plot behind the sex happened so fast. They met and have lots of sex and all of a sudden their in love, and they salve some big mystery that had no mention in the story before they solved it.
