Pulled from his home world by unknown forces, Bonnir finds himself in Sarandor; thrown into battles of magic between the combined forces of Tirdan and his mysterious ally, against the forces of the Assembly wizards who must find a way to stop Tirdan for a second time. He meets a dwarf, elves, and wizards for the first time in his life, previously believing that they were just products of his father’s imaginative stories. Along the way he discovers that all of these new friends knew his father and that his father had been one of the greatest heroes of Sarandor. The path that is set before him now could turn out to be an even greater adventure.
I really enjoyed this book. It is worth reading. It has a steady 4 star rating from me, going just below the epics of Jordan and Tolkien in my eyes. The way the characters formed and how everything worked in the world intrigued me. It is truly amazing. Only thing I did not like is how fast the characters developed but that is just me. Brilliant read and a must for fantasy lovers.
