PLEASE NOTE: This is the second half of a two part book, for overall enjoyment, please read Beast Planet 1: Captive Surrender.

With the violence and battles behind them, the newly pregnant Anna and her mate Morrdrook arrive on the Zakiu home world, while the Druel go into hibernation. But all is not as it seems. Even though their captors are far away, they are still prisoners, kept behind high walls, force fields and guarded by robot drones, programmed to stop them from escaping.
The Zakiu men hatch a plan to finally break free from their captors, but things go haywire when Anna is suddenly forced to fend for herself.
When Anna stumbles upon one of the Zakiu lost cities she wastes no time rescuing her man and the other captives from the compound.
Together Morrdrook and Anna discover the hidden secretes of the Zakiu along with Morrdrook’s destiny. With time fast running out, the Zakiu must build a special shield to protect them from the Druel’s return or be enslaved forever. .

I am a full time mother and part time writer. I live in a small country town in Victoria Australia. I have been writing ever since I learned to read, and almost endlessly drifting off into the fantasy world of my imagination.

Thankfully, I have a great group of supporting writer friends; a husband and three; currently small children who help keep me grounded.

When I’m not day dreaming of creating new worlds for my stories or madly typing away on my laptop. I have plenty to keep me busy on the home front.

Captive Salvation starts right after book one Captive Surrender left off. Morrdrook and Anna as well as the other's are being taken home to Morrdrook's planet. When there they quickly adjust to their new home but the threat that the aliens will come back and take them is always in everyones mind. Anna is pregnant and now more than ever they want to stay on Zakiu, Morrdrook's planet. As the Zakiu's plan for a coming fight to finally free themselves Anna finds herself being the only person who may be able to save not only herself and Morrdrook but the entire Zakiu planet. I started this book right after book one and this story just gets better. Though this is a short story I never felt like it was the story line really picks up in this book and I found myself trying to read this book every chance I got. I really hope this series continues because I can't wait to see what happens next. As the warning states I would not read this book if you haven't read book one Captive Surrender you will have missed to much important information, but I highly recommend this series.

I did enjoy this one as much as the first one. However, it almost seemed like an abrupt ending. Then again, I'm not sure how the next book would have played out if there was one. Good 2 book series.

Loved the sci-fi part of the story. The romance got a bit sappy. Would have been nice to find out more about the abductors and other aliens. Maybe there'll be a next book???

The first book is still my favorite, but I do like this one, too.

My main complaint is that it seems to switch gears toward the middling-end. I can't really say much, for fear of spoiling it for you, but it's almost as though someone's been telling me the story aloud and suddenly started speaking with a Scottish accent about midway through. It's still in English, it still makes sense, yet it feels different. Sounds different. Y'dig?

Still, good HEA -- a bit predictable, but good nonetheless.

h saves the day, or rather an entire alien race by being smart, witty, and brave (very superficially), and horny (can't have a h/H miss out on this one).

wasn't bad. slightly better than the previous book. but still if that was 2.4, this is 2.6, not exactly 3 stars. i'm splitting the 2/3 star rating between them.

Hard to believe, but the second book was better than the first. Maybe because I had grown comfortable with the characters , or maybe because there was a lot more going on then just surviving the Druel. I highly recommend these two books for anyone who is a true romantic at heart.

Really liked the conclusion to this story from Captive Surrender - discovering the Zakiu city and the means to defend themselves if only they can get it running in time. The relationship between Anna Morrdrook continues to grow allowing for some very hot sex scenes.
