“To continue to care for the sick while still maintaining equanimity, compassion, humility, a zeal for justice, a sense of mercy, a clean heart, and a spirit of reconciliation is to live the Beatitudes in health care.”
This book touched on so many topics that are SO REAL about health care - prayer, faith at the bedside, remembering the source of joy, recognizing my own need for Christ in order to be an effective healer. I learned a ton. This book made me love my patients better!!
