New enemies rise along with new friends, and the hope of a life Sally had long since given up on - if she can keep herself alive to enjoy it.

I liked the story and I liked the characters. But this really isn't a "trilogy". It's a book broken up into three parts. I'm not too happy about that aspect.

Short. Too short, for so interesting a plot. The characters are engaging, and would do well in a proper novel. The trilogy shows potential, but seemed rushed, and ended too soon, like a boy on prom night.

I think what we have here is an author with his thumb in too many pies. He has so many projects that his truly good ideas don't get the attention they deserve, and fall by the wayside. I mean,this trilogy deserved so much more, it could have been a name maker. And never finishing the Non-Zombie trilogy? Inconceivable.

Priorities, Garret. You are spreading yourself too thin, and shortchange your own ability, not to mention us fans.

The main character has a curse; she can't come into physical contact with anybody without being overwhelmed by their thoughts and emotions and whatever they are thinking about at the time...which if she is touching them often means that they're thinking about her. She decides to play junior detective after discovering that her neighbor was murdered one night...I especially found it interesting that her ability includes touching animals (specifically, the neighbor's cat) along with other humans.

After finding her neighbor's killer, she becomes the target of a new psycho, while simultaneously learning what it's like to be a "normal" human with normal human interactions. Solving multiple murders in a short time-frame, however, brings on the attention of others...

The series ends relatively predictably, both in the evolution of her powers and in her resolution of the danger she faces from the feds. All in all, a quick read and enjoyable way to spend an afternoon, and I almost wouldn't mind seeing the details fleshed out and the three novellas turned into a more cohesive single novel. I could also see how this story would translate well the film (and originally began that way.)

I believe “Touch Trilogy” to be the first novella effort of now prolific author Garrett Robinson. At a minimum, it is my first contact with this author, and I am duly…no, overwhelmingly impressed. Over the past two or three years, my reading selections have been almost exclusively independent authors and self-publishers. Only a handful of these writers have demonstrated such a high level of expertise and professionalism right out of the chute.

“Touch Trilogy” is short and sweet in pages and words, but long in storyline twists and turns. The main characters, Sally and Sean, come alive quickly and instantly captured my empathy and interest. The premise is superbly portrayed, explained and interwoven into a remarkable story of paranormal ability, tense situations, true to life dialogue and…simply great storytelling! Often times, few words have the most significant impact, so this review will end by stating that I believe Mr. Robinson will be the “next big thing” among independent authors. I’m a fan and I’ve discovered that he has several more novels available. I plan to read every one of them…and if you enjoy excellence in fiction writing, so should you.

Touched me.

Garrett has amazed and impressed me. I am a huge fan of his Underrealm world and so only started reading Touch whilst waiting for the next Under realm book to be published. It touched me, made my core cry for more, I am so deeply involved in Sally's life I'm not sure where the last few days have gone... Have I eaten? Slept? I don't know, but I do know that Garrett Robinson is a top class author and a visionary that I understand. I get it! Thank you for putting it on paper. Thank you for sharing it with the world.

Went into this not knowing what to expect, and was pleasantly surprised. I have been watching Garrett on Youtube for a while and decided to finally try some of his writing. The premise was interesting and I enjoyed the way that each part was separate but worked together cohesively. Got so into it I read it all in one sitting, haha. This won't be the last of Garrett's books I'll be reading.
