A sweet and charming book which I couldn't put down. Pippa moves to Ireland after her mum's death unable to stay in the family home with all the photos her dad has put up to remember her by. Move forward a few years and faced with having to return to Seagull Bay because of her father's ill health. The first person she bumps into is her old high-school flame who dumped her. Can the visit get any worse. Yes it can Oliver is who is helping her aunt run the family pub and hotel. This book is great at showing how sometimes communication is something we all seem to do when dealing with complicated feelings and situations. I loved the story and found myself finding all the characters loveable and very believable. I hope to read more from the series maybe Declan or even Mina will feature in upcoming stories. I was lucky enough to receive this as an ARC copy and this is my own honest opinion and review of the book
I really enjoyed this book. Such a heartwarming and sweet read. The characters are charming, true to life and realistic as is the story line. The writing style, character building and backstory are great. This book was very entertaining and I can't wait for the next book in the series.

I don't do book reviews like you keep seeing, as I find that some give too much of the plot away and I personally hate that, as it makes the book not worth reading. I much prefer to take the authors back cover write up as a review as it can either intrigue you enough to read the book of provide you enough information to make you decide that the book is not for you. My review rules are: The more stars, the more I liked it. If there are too many typos or errors the less stars I give If the storyline or plot is poor or contains too many errors, the characters are too weak, the ending lacking something, then the less stars I give. Simple, uncomplicated and to the point without giving anything away. Some of the books I read have been given to me by the author as a pre-release copy and this does not bias my reviews in any way.
I really enjoyed the story line of this book but found the writing style a little frustrating. I didn’t understand the need to constantly use a character’s name at the end of pretty much every sentence, a definite ick whilst reading what was otherwise quite a sweet storyline. There were also several spelling/grammar mistakes, one of which was when the main character Pippa, was referred to as ‘people’ lols!
I don’t tend to write reviews but I felt compelled to after reading this book. I enjoyed the premise and the plot and it had potential to be a really great read however, the numerous grammatical errors made it difficult to fully immerse myself in the story.
A sweet little story of love lost and found and family ties renewed. And a guaranteed HEA. Book needs some proof reading and editing though. Ginger is a male dog then it wags her tail… Pippa is called People all of a sudden… and a few more silly mistakes like this that could’ve been avoided.
Wow such a heartwarming story. Thank you for a great sweet and wholesome book Michelle Hill. The characters are so sweet and charming, great storyline too. I can't wait to see how the next book will unfold.

Heartwarming and inspiration story as we follow the lead character as she works through her emotions and tries to make the right decision. Romance can complicate so many things. Entertaining characters to follow along in this story. Good read.
