Overall Review based on the 3 volumes:4-4.5 out of 5 Stars
Since this was a short series I decided to do the review with all 3 volumes combined together.
"The Savannah Rossi Chronicles, a series of steamy short stories that will eventually lead to a full length novel. They are centered around Savannah Rossi, a gifted, sexy, confident, up-and-coming rocker and her musical and sexual adventures."
I am reviewing this series a little bit differently. This is a short series of books, currently consisting of three volumes, no more than 14,000 words. Each story can be read as a stand-alone; Deliza does not leave you hanging. Although, I would suggest reading them in order as each volume offers you something different. They are short, they are intense, and they are steamy.
"The short stories are more erotica than romance, the full length novel will have much more "story" and romance to it."
What did I love most about this series? It is the fact that we are not dealing with a bad boy rocker this time around. Oh no, we have our very own bad girl rocker, and she kicked ass! I simply adored Savannah. Our girl knew exactly what it would take to satisfy her and she went after it. She is not apologetic for her healthy sex life. She makes no excuses for what she needs and wants. I totally loved that about her. To be free and not give a damn what others think. Sigh, it would be a perfect world to live in.
Anyway, in Rock & Roll we meet Savvy. She is casing "the house" for the one to fulfill her needs before her show. The story is short and hot as hell! Steamy hot sex with a perfect stranger, no names exchanged - SCREAMS bad girl! Yum! No drama or emotional roller coasters, just straight up dirty sex!
"What started as three days of intense sexual tension on top of worry turned into one of the hottest nights of her life as Logan became the willing receptical of all her emotional and physical turmoil."
Slow Jam was a bit longer in length than the first and third of the series. I thought it was even better than the first! I loved that Deliza changed it up a bit and gave it more meaning. We experienced some emotional drama while still feeling the intense sexual chemistry between Sav and Logan. Damn those two were a sexual ball of tension for most of the book. Their heat just rolled off the pages. Logan, OMG, Logan. Give me a southern boy like that any day and I could die a happy happy girl. Even though Deliza knew Logan on a more personal level, there was no lack of bad girl/bad boy moments. Only difference was in book 1 Savvy controlled the encounter, this time it is Logan who commands her obedience.
"She would usher in the holiday with her favorite pastime-a little bit of singing followed by a hot, steamy romp in the proverbial hay."
What a way to open up with Little Drummer Boy. I think Savvy may just be one of my favorite book chicks, I may even have a little girl crush on her! I was a little sad to see we had moved on from Logan, but from talking to Deliza before reading this series, I already knew Savannah would be enjoying her life and sexual appetite to the fullest until she met the one she could not keep out of her mind and her heart. Then I met Jesse. Uh, yeah I am a bit jealous of our heroine right now. Let us just say public sex with strangers only a few feet away chit chatting...well yeah...moving on!

This second installment in The Savannah Rossi Chronicles provided the same qualities we enjoyed from the first book, but also managed to add to the story itself. You still got the heat, sexiness and of course the hot sex, but what I really liked about this second book was how you also got more story, more characters, more knowledge of who Savannah is as a person. You get all this wrapped up in a pretty moving storyline.
In Slow Jam, you get to see Savannah beyond what was shown in the first book. Yes, she’s a talented and smoking hot musician with an unapologetic zest for sex. But through the crisis that has befallen her childhood best friend and writing partner, Leif Jensen, you see the hidden layer of Savannah. It’s that hidden side that cares about her best friend and who is willing to cancel a gig in consideration for him. It was great seeing some depth to her character. Considering this is a series, you would hope that through subsequent books, you’ll get to know her more which will enable you to care about her as a person.
Not only do you get to know more about Savannah, but you also get introduced to her fellow band mates. Eric, lead guitarist, stands out prominently since he and Leif are Savannah’s closest friends. Eric brings some of the humor with him. I really enjoyed him in his supporting role. He’s a nice compliment to Savannah.
Now with all that said and done, this is still an erotica story, so don’t think that Rafferty is skimping on the sex. There is plenty of sexual tension to go around, especially with a male counterpart such as Logan Holloway. He’s a perfect blend of Southern charm and rock star sexiness. The chemistry between him and Savannah is palpable and hot. Rafferty did a good job of balancing the sexual tension of these two with the emotional plot of the book without feeling as if one aspect was sacrificed for the other.
I really enjoyed how this book added to what the first one gave. I appreciated the story of the book and giving us more of who Savannah is while still bringing the heat. The writing is still well done and I liked the introduction of Eric and Leif into the story. Overall, it was a great continuation of the series and has me looking forward to more from the series.

After reading the first book, I was quite curious about this one and if we would see Savannah finally falling in love.
Did she? Well you have to read it to find out, but there's a new male on this book that I loved....Logan Holloway. WOW SEXY BASS PLAYER!
Logan suddenly gets into Savannah's life and work by replacing her bass player who is in the hospital.
" Hold up", the beautiful stranger said, shifting so his bass in its canvas case slid down his arm and onto the floor. As he straightened, he took her hand in both of his and answered, "Logan, ma'am. Logan Holloway".
There's so much sexual tension in the book u feel they are about to explode.
"Their hands made accidental contact as Savannah handed him the bag. They both caught their breath, freezing im mid-reach as a hungry, sensuous current flowed like wildfire from one into the other. They powerlessy watched their fingers entwine as if of their own volition."
Again the writing is great and the sex scenes are superb! Savannah doesn't let us down and I do hope to see more from Logan :) He is one sexy player!!!! And super cool as well!

WHOA! That's what popped into my head as I read this. This short but to the point little treasure features a hot female, Savannah Rossi lead singer of Death by Red, who knows how to get what she wants, and goes after it.
In this Chronicle, Savannah has one of the biggest shows of her career. Her regular bassist and best friend Leif is about to have surgery, the band brings in a guest bassist to help out.
Logan is a HOT sexy southern gentleman *cough, cough, wink, wink* who catches Savannah's attention. From the moment they see one another you can just feel the sexual tension rolling my kindle.
"As her hand was engulfed in his much larger ones, Savannah felt a rush course through her, accompanied by goose bumps. She could feel his calloused tips of his long fingers resting against the delicate skin of her wrist and a very dirty thought in relation to those fingers flashed in her mind."
Imagine if you will with writing like this how much better it gets, and believe me it gets better. My kindle got all steamed up, that's how good it got!
