Wilds high, it has a history of 42 years as a fighting specialist all girls private highschool meant solely for the elite. The place Wilds-League is held, the most popular event in the country, the only place in the world where teenage girls have brutal fights with their lives. This year has been changed into a mixed gender school. The only male student- Song Jae Gu, has been granted a full 3-year scholarship regardless of grades. Being someone who had to spend every moment working or taking care of his two younger brothers, he accepted.

However, the scholarship was granted with the sole condition he does not leave. But after meeting Queen, the bloody champion of Wild's-League, drenching her in coffee, calling her a "Monster" and getting caught while she was taking a shower... that could prove fatal.

GOTW had its own ups and downs, but the author knew how and when to end it. The art was beautiful.

No words can describe how I feel right now, but I'll try my best...

Ok, first off, the artwork, storyline, characters, all of it, M W A H, 5 STARS!

Jaegu: When I started reading this, I was expecting him to be some sort of...excuse my language cough- a p e r v , BUT OH NO- he is far from THAt. I fell in love with him instantly. I'm crying over the character development. I remember I used to be so mad at him whenever he didn't stand up for himself from the bullies. And now by the end of the comic, he has beaten up street fighters, gang members, and even middle schoolers-! I seriously LOVE the fact that he cares about his siblings so much! He would do anything- and I MEAN anything- for them!

Queen AKA Ingui: I was expecting from the very beginning that she was going to end up with Jaegu anyways, so I didn't mind all the plots that kept separating them and whatnot. Queen, is literally, a queen. She is drop dead gorgeous and just overall, perfection. I seriously wish that she didn't have to go on business trips all the time. Her parents overestimate her too much. She's still a high school student and they're forcing her to attend meetings with political leaders and whatnot!

Daldal: Ok, ok, ok. I HAVE A CONFESSION TO MAKE. I hated Daldal in the first...50 episodes maybe? She was way too clingy and just acting overboard the whole time. It was so obvious that Jaegu didn't feel anything romantic attractions towards her but she still kept trying. And then she gets wrecked over when he tells her the truth. Geez. But soon, I kinda got used to it and just laughed at her...facade? I don't even know what to call it. The whole time, she didn't even feel any real feelings towards Jaegu. When the college dude showed up, Myeoung, I think it was, you can clearly tell a huge difference between the love she slowly develops for him VS the love she forces onto Jaegu. Thank god she got over Jaegu in the end. (And I fell for her as well but let's not talk about that-)

update: aH in the heat of the moment I totally forgot to actually talk about this. So yeah the art is amazing, and this series just does an awesome job at kickass girls. And I love that it was a little typical manhwa cliche but not too much you know what I mean? Like it had some stereotypical romance tropes but they didn’t go all out. Anyways yeah I love this series and I’m sad it’s over but I’m 100% satisfied with everything

Not as good as the first season in terms of action, but helps wrap up the story with some drama. It was nice to see Jaegu's character growth. Would have loved to read an epilogue with all the minor characters. Overall, a good ending to an awesome manhwa.

این مانهوا رو چندسال پیش خوندم ولی الان یادم افتاد توی گودریدز بهش نمره بدم. خاطرات خیلی خوبی ازش دارم و به جرئت میتونم بگم یکی از بهترین دوران های زندگیم بود خوندنش. داستان پر کشش اکشن، طنز، دراماتیک و صدالبته رمانتیک. با نام Girls of The Wild شناخته میشه ولی به نام دختران مدرسه وایلد هم ترجمه شده.

ما کارکترهای فوق العاده پویایی داشتیم که همشون چالش هاب شخصیت خودشون، طنز های خودشون، مشکلات خودشون و جذابیت های خودشون رو داشتن و همگی تقریبا تا پایان داستان رشد شخصیتی زیبایی رو به نمایش میزارن(شاید این از جذابیت های داستان های مدرسه-دبیرستانی باشه که کارکتر ها در دوره ای گذار که هممون تجربه کردیم قرار میگیرن و در دل حوادث این دوره رشد میکنن). با این حال شاید هیچ کدوم به اندازه کارکتر ملکه توی ذهنم باقی نمونده، چه شخصیت فوق العاده ای! مظهر قدرت و تلاش و اراده زنانه که دوست و دشمن رو مرعوب خودش میکنه و در عین حال ترس ها، ضعف ها، حسرتها و خلا های عاطفی که از درون عذابش میده.

با این حال روایت و خط داستان یکسری مشکلاتی داشت که قابل انکار نیستن. خوب یادمه که ۱۵ چپتر اول داستان رو که خوندم فکر کردم با یک داستان روانشناختی طرفم و خوب خیلی جذبش شدم و به سرعت ۵۰ چپتر بعد رو در یکی دو روز تموم کردم ولی مسیر داستان از یک جایی به بعد عوض شد، درواقع سه بار این اتفاق افتاد، ما در ابتدا با یک داستان روانشناختی طرف بودیم ولی بعد فرم داستان به یک داستان ورزشی و بعد یک داستان عاشقانه و بعد یک داستان اکشن و دوباره عاشقانه تغییر حالت داد. شاید بعضی بگن این از حسن یک اثر ولی اینکه تم اثر اینجور همه جانبه عوض بشه اصلا یک حسن محسوب نمیشه، درواقع داستان هایی که از چنین حسنی استفاده میکنند با یک تم ثبت از همه المان های ژانری مد نظر یا اونچه ذکر شد با هم استفاده میکنن مخصوصا داستان های ادبیات گمانه زن. پس نه درباره Girls of The Wild این یک ضعف بود و بیشتر هم این حس رو به من میداد که انگار در طول انتشار اثر نویسنده اون سه بار عوض شده و هر نویسنده جدید دوست داشته مسیر مورد نظر خودش رو برای داستان داشته باشه.

با این حال نمیتونم جلوی خودم برای پنج ستاره دادن به این کار فوق العاده رو بگیرم.😊 فکر میکنم اگر دنبال یه اثر شاد و حال خوب کن و در عین حال هیجان انگیز هستید Girls of The Wild چیزیه که دنبالشید.

I can not believe that I am done with this amazing webtoon. It took so long but it was worth spending time on. I enjoyed every single thing, the story line, the characters, the drawing, the romance, and the action scenes. Everything was spectacular. I will miss reading it.

The only thing that bothered me and took the half point from the rating was the dialogue( too long).

This was so good!!

My favorite character is definitely Moonyoung, but I liked a lot of the background characters too, like Mr. Park, Goseul, Hopae, Puggy, Jungu, Insung, and Jaegu's little brother. I loved how the butlers and younger siblings kept trying to keep Queen and Jaegu's relationship going, too!

! This is a review for the whole series, and not just Volume 2

Checked this out since it had the same author as 'Eleceed', a webtoon i enjoyed. That, and also, I love to see girls fighting.
All the chapters till the big tournament were amazing. The characters were interesting, the development was good too, and the fight scenes were awesome. But right when i thought it would be over, i saw i had 100 chapters to go. And suddenly the story took this weird romantic turn. And it dragged on and on and on. It took ages for me to finish just for that reason. Had the story ended instead of going for another 100 chapters, this would've been a 4 star read.
The plot was kind of redeemed in the chapters of Daldal's kidnapping, but then the author tried to very lazily tie up the romance.
I heard people mention how the plot is a unique take on the Harem genre, but I wouldn't know much since I haven't read much of it. Really disappointing when the chance to give the series a satisfactory ending was lost :/
I see a lot of people mention wishing Daldal was the better option, and i agree only because she is the better option compared to Queen. There are little to no moments where you see Queen and Jaegu interact without getting incredibly awkward. I would rather the romance aspect wasn't made the main focus for a 100 chapters when it could have been wrapped up so easily.

The Character Jaegu starts to develop not only strength and the technique of fighting but to finally stand up to himself, finishing this whole series has blown my mind as he became to most confident and influential man to towards his younger siblings. Struggling his way through life being bullied and left to pay for the bills and other essentials in order to take care of his little sister and brother. Starting from the first chapter and the ending I'm proud that he made the right choice in choosing to follow and go after Queen as he really did loved her. I'm suprised by the author and as to how long the manga was, keeping me up all night, and this was my second time reading all over again. An amazing story with funny characters and I cant believe Jaegu was surrounded by all these female characters. Since after all, the reason why he switched out to Wild high was to get that scholarship money, fate to be it changed him forever, with confidence, fighting skills, a job, and lastly finding the love of his life.

Jaegu & his friends along with jaegu's siblings headed to vacation - to the beach - playing volleyball - the girls vs girls from china who wanted to be with jaegu even though jaegu can't understand Chinese language. Both - dadal & queen broke up by jaegu because jaegu have lots of things in his mind. I kinda feel bad for the girls even though jaegu being dull when it comes to loves.dadal found the another guy she's had crushed. In the end jaegu headed to Japan & finally meet queen.

Well, nhiều tình tiết tình cảm mình thấy hơi lê thê. Không phải là không hợp lý, nhưng lê thê thật sự.
Ngôi sao phần này với mình là Daldal. Từng cung bậc cảm xúc và ý chí của Daldal đều làm mình ngưỡng mộ. Thật may mắn vì Daldal tìm được người trân trọng mình! Bạn trai Daldal cũng rất phù hợp để làm chỗ dựa cho Daldal!

I was never sure if I was reading a romance or a fighting comic, the styles switched so much from episode to episode. There was also unfortunately the tendency of the author to choose the most dramatic storyline to continue forward.

The best part was definitely seeing Jaegu come into his own confidence and stand on his own two feet.

I am upset that he changed the style than season 1 so much!

Still this season evoked so many emotions inside me and also it had a lot of good lessons. So all in all amazing work!
