"Je n'écris que cela, des banalités. En fait, je suis nulle. Toutes mes amies me disent que je suis géniale et belle et sympa et positive, et mes parents disent la même chose et tout le monde me croit formidablement sûre de moi, si seulement ils savaient à quel point je me trouve nulle. J'ai tout faux. Je suis encore vierge, 9/10 (ou plutôt 10/10) de mes amies ne le sont plus depuis longtemps, elles ont toutes plus ou moins un garçon dans leur vie, et moi rien. Plaignez, plaignez la pauvre petite poule sans amour, la gentille fille de bon aloi qui ignore ce que l'amour physique veut dire, le bébé à l'enveloppe de femme qui a les chevilles trop épaisses, les hanches trop larges, un nez trop épaté, une oreille qui dit bonjour à l'autre, des fossettes trop hautes et un menton trop pointu, et qui marche en faisant des mouvements comme les bateaux qui tanguent dans le port lorsqu'il y a de la houle."

2,5 an okay and fast read book but I did'nt feel anything for manuella and her story

This is an okay coming-of-age story. An easy read if you're studying French.

Not bad, but not as good as “Des cornichons au chocolat”. In French.

Great book about a coming-of-age for young women and teenagers. I read it in high school for a school project and I loved it. Would read it again if I find it :).

A disappointing Philippe Labro according to me. I never got into it.
