"Caregiving" was just the book I needed to read at this juncture in my life. Beth Witrogen McLeod shares definitions, medical opinions, and many, many anecdotes about how caregiving can take over your life but also how to take care of the caregivers in the family. The most important information seemed to stress the importance of the caregiver being "in the moment" with patients as they begin their transitional journey while at the same time taking care of the caregiver him/herself. This was a reassuring read and recommended for those whose parents are still alive but beginning their journey to the end stages of life.

This is BY FAR the best book about spousal caregiving out there! The author uses her parents as the care-recipients, but so much of what she wrote about really under scored what I was going through. I strongly recommend this book!
