I don't think I've read any of the previous books in this series, and maybe that's why I found it so hard to "get into" this book. I felt a bit lost, not knowing what some of the characters were talking about regarding Tiny Blessings and its former director.

A friend sent me this book in a box of books.

We're kind of dropped in to the middle of the action--apparently two people have been identified as the possible child that was taken from its mother at birth. Both have given DNA samples. What I don't understand is that if one of them really didn't want a relationship with his/her birth mother, why bother to agree to give a DNA sample to see if it matched? Perhaps that question was addressed in the previous book(s) of the series, but it is not here.

Also, even though one of the main characters is the director of Tiny Blessings adoption agency, we see no work being done on any adoptions. No applications coming through, no interviews, no background checking, no children being born, no one contacting them for placement of an infant, no one who's pregnant calling looking for options, etc.

I guessed what was wrong with Kelly long before the characters figured it out.

I loved it! I love getting to know each of the characters in their own story and then continuing to keep track of them in future stories. This is one of my favorite Tiny Blessing stories. Is they’re a Tiny Blessings Book Club? 😅😂

This is my first book by this author and it was great. It turned out being much more of a mystery than I thought. The storyline kept me guessing. Quick read that kept my interest all the way through.

When Private Investigator Ross tells Kelly Young who her birth mother is, her world is turned upside down. On top of that, someone has been ransacking her house, poisoning her food, and leaving mysterious phone calls threatening her to leave town. This classic "love-inspired" novel follows Ross' and Kelly's relationship as they track down whoever has been persecuting Kelly, and learn just how much Ross needs God's love.
It is more suspenseful than many other "love-inspired" books, and has all the morality of one, too. I do think the ending was a little too fairy-tale-esque, but I'm not a huge fan of the series as a whole, so I can't complain much.

I'm not sure why, but this book was a little hard for me to 'get into' at first. I ended up finishing another book before this one, and was then better able to get into the storyline.
Ross was a character that had been introduced in book 3 of this series, but was always in the background. Kelly was a minor character from the beginning. I enjoyed getting to know both of their characters better through this book.
I also liked that the mystery was finally solved, only to bring up a new, more sinister mystery. I correctly guessed 'whodunnit' early on, but didn't feel like it was overly obvious.
I'm looking forward to the next book in the 'Tiny Blessings' series.

Probably closer to 3.5 stars, I really did enjoy this story, and the suspense part is great! The downside is that it is a little too predictable, and the changes in people that occur at the end are so quick they are not as believable as they might be. A quick, easy read for those who like romance, suspense, and intrigue.

Nice easy read with some good lessons about trusting God and giving up control. However, it ended rather quickly and cheesily (is that a word?).

Final book in the Tiny Blessings series.

Lois Richer ends the series with a great romance, mother/daughter struggle and alot of mystery and mayhem.

A good series, which draws you into the lives of the tight knit community. Christian Romance with some Mystery/Crime woven in.
