I truly enjoyed this book. It wasn't at all what I would have thought. There were nice little twists with each of the short stories. I think my favorite was The Hearing, which I have actually recapped when speaking with some of my friends about it - a courtroom setting with a trial between a man (the plaintiff) and his guardian angel (the defendant). Very intriguing little tales, that I would thoroughly recommend. Also I look forward to reading other books by Mark Knight.

Pleasantly surprised, decent collection of short stories. My favorites are Forbidden and Grey Eyes in Silver. Do not let the cover dissuade you from reading - I thought it was going to be alien short stories but most are just about other 'beings' and how they impacted the lives of the protagonists. Short collection and easy to read.
