HOLY FREAKING Swooning Jack De Luca Right now ….HOLY S*** Batman he is one STEAMING HOT ALPHA MAN, Protector, Cop, Sex GOD !!!!!!
This book was better than the last one for sure. In the first one we met Jack and Payton , Payton is Ella’s Best friend and Jack well he was a Undercover cop who ticked Payton off and she cut him outta her life.
Two yrs later we are getting the full effect these 2 people have on each other when Jack and Payton see each other for the first time in 2 yrs. Let me just tell you there is some MAJORLY HOT Chemistry between these two people and It will leave you HOT AND BOTHERED !!!!!
“You are my everything,” my lips glide along her mouth. “ Without you, I am nothing.” Her tongue lashes out, nervously licking her lower lip. I place a soft kiss on that exact spot and say, “I love you, beautiful.”
Without giving to much away so you all can enjoy the full benefit of this great story , I will say that we learn all there is to know about Jack and Payton in this book. We learn also how much they truly need each other as well. We see first hand how they have missed each other for 2 long yrs.

There is some MAJOR heavy Sex scenes with these two. There are some twists and turns to a plot and you will be going WTH did I just read . Then you will be like that RAT BASTARD !!!!!!
We get a glimpse of the next story and I cannot wait for Evan and Cade…. I am sure they will be as great as the rest so far.

Sweet Ride is the second book in the Ride series following on the heels of Wilde Ride where we first meet that sexy bad ass motorcycle riding President of the Mayhem MC Club & sweet Ella ~ well now we continue on with Payton's & Jack's story ~ There is no way you can forget the chemistry between these two in Wilde Ride and then the little well BIG secret that Deuce laid out ~ I'm not going to give you too much cause if you didn't read Wilde Ride I don't want to ruin it for you!!
Payton that crazy ass, partying, fun loving, sex loving sassy beautiful girl~ She had me cracking up at times and at other times my heart broke when we learned what happened to her when she was in high school ~ it kind of explains something's but still it was something she has lived with so long that you just ache for her to FINALLY open up and trust someone like ummmm JACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's been 2 long years since Payton & Jack have been together and boy oh boy their fire never went out when they were apart heck it just EXPLODED in Sweet Ride ~ these two have some serious sexy as sin toe curling sex scenes that had me fanning myself!
Sweet Ride should also be called chaotic ride as well as WTH was that ride! This book has more twists & turns than a windy mountain road~ at times I felt like I was going crazy trying to figure things out ahead of times but once I resigned myself to just sitting back and enjoy the ride I did and it was quite the ride but hell it's PAYTON come on and Jack FREAKING De Luca with his sexy Italian ass and his tattooed rocking body ~ He's working another case and don't you think for one minute that Payton becomes the helpless little Miss nope this girl has big kahunas and she's not afraid to stand up for herself.
The best part is we have a few more stories with a few more sexy boys coming our way along with some Ryder & Ella in this one ~ loved when Payton & Jack paid a little earlier than expected drop by to Ryder & Ella's house never laughed so hard in my life and BEST LINE in a book I hope you get the sh**ts ~ totally freaking rolling when I read that part!
This was a solid 4 star read for me some parts definitely 4.5! It's my opinion that the authors writing style grew from Wilde Ride to this one ~ it read smoother for me and more in depth making me definitely wanting to read the next one ~ so if you like sexy ass bad boys who just might be part of the good guys and wild crazy ass beautiful women then I recommend you get your hands on this one as soon as possible.

Payton Clare is hiding behind her party girl persona. She never sleeps with the same guy twice until she meets Jack De Luca or should I say Diesel. You see, when Payton first met him he was known as Diesel, a member of the Mayhem Motorcycle Club. She thought she’d finally found a man she could fall for until she learned he was an undercover cop and a big fat liar! Payton hasn’t seen him in two years, but that hasn’t stopped her from fantasying about the only man who has ever brought her to orgasm. Too bad he’s a lying sack of shit.

I will admit that I haven’t read the first book…yet. You can bet your buns I’ll be picking it up shortly! Oh, and I’m REALLY looking forward to reading Cade and Evan’s story! Sweet Ride.... The title says it all. This book was definitely a sweet ride. Add to that the hot steamy BAM! BAM! and drama.
If you read Ryder and Ella's story Wilde Ride,you have already met Payton and Jack.
Payton is Ella's best friend. She is over the top funny. She takes everything to the extreme. She drinks too much, has way too many one night stands, and the filter between her brain and mouth is broken. Jack is a police officer. He worked undercover in Ryder's MC. He is completely Alpha. He is so hot but so sweet too. He wants things his way and only his way. Most of all, he wants Payton!
I went into Sweet Ride expecting another Wilde Ride. I did not get that. This book is not the easy read that WR was. It's funny, but it has nowhere near as much humor. What it did have was heartbreak. I wanted to scream; I did cry. It was emotionally draining, but I loved every second of it.

I really love this series!!! This book was smokin hot and had a great plot too. I want me some Jack De Luca he's a hot Italian Stallion if you know what I mean, with "the beast"!!! Peyton was great too. I feel awful about what happened to her. No one should have that happen to them ever. I can't wait til Evan and Cade's book!!!!

4 stars. So much better than book one. Jack was such a hot alpha male and I like Payton because she had a backbone and didn't seem to take shit from anyone. Good hot steamy read with some twists and turns. Looking forward to book three.

I can't decide between 3 1/2 stars or 4 so I'm ging with four.
We met Jack and Payton in book one Wilde Ride and I was anticipating this book once I finished book one but I have to say it wasn't all I was hoping for. Jack was an undercover cop and Payton and Jack met while he was undercover, once Payton found out that Jack had lied to her she cut him out of her life. Payton was never the type to fall for a guy or want more than just one night but with Jack she did. Now one year later Payton has moved to the town she met Jack and she soon runs into Jack. Jack and Payton have both tried to move on and they both have failed. So Jack decides he won't give up on Payton they had something special. But Payton knows she has to prove to Jack that she has moved on so Payton asks a friend to act like her boyfriend why getting the benefits, but Payton doesn't really know her friend and when Payton's put in danger Jack is their to pick up the pieces and convince Payton they were made for on another.
Trying to move forward is harder for Payton than most, she has a secret she has kept at all costs to protect those she loves and that secret has formed who she has become. When someone from her past crashes with her present Payton knows that keeping her secret has put someone she loves in danger and its time she share her secret. While Jack stands by Payton jack has to learn how to move past the loss of someone he used to love and open himself up to a new love her never could have imagined. I liked this book but had a hard time getting into Meagan Lynn Moores writing style, with that being said I see great potential and the story was good so I'm hoping she continues to grow as an author with the books she writes. I had a really hard time in the beginning of this book relating to Payton and being ok with her actions but when I found out about her past and the extant of her past it was easier to see where she was coming from and empathize with her. I loved Jack and thought he was a great hero, he was crazy about Payton and wanted her no matter what.
The ending of this book was great and I'm a sucker for and epilogue so I was very happy that this book had such a great epilogue. I also really liked that we got to see not only the progression of Jack and Payton's relationship but of Payton herself. I also loved that we got to see the characters in book one and how they are doing now. I'll be reading book three because I'm really interested in the characters in book three, we are given just enough to want more.

I liked this book but had a hard time getting into Meagan Lynn Moores writing style, with that being said I see great potential and the story was good so I'm hoping she continues to grow as an author with the books she writes. I had a really hard time in the beginning of this book relating to Payton and being ok with her actions but when I found out about her past and the extant of her past it was easier to see where she was coming from and empathize with her. I loved Jack and thought he was a great hero, he was crazy about Payton and wanted her no matter what.
The ending of this book was great and I'm a sucker for and epilogue so I was very happy that this book had such a great epilogue. I also really liked that we got to see not only the progression of Jack and Payton's relationship but of Payton herself. I also loved that we got to see the characters in book one and how they are doing now. I'll be reading book three because I'm really interested in the characters in book three, we are given just enough to want more.

Wow, im always amazed when I sit down to read a book that gets such amazing reviews only to find that who ever is writing these reviews must have some personal stake in it's success. This was absolutely awful. At best, it was a rough idea of what could have been a decent book, at worst it was a few (a very, very few) meaningless scenes between bouts of raunchy sex. Essentially, this book is literary porn and not even good literary porn.
The dialog is stilted, the characters are so one dimensional, the narrative is non-existent. The entire thing felt like i was listening to an airheaded valley girl tell me story while she was drunk. Nothing had any depth and the attempt to add it in by simply giving the main characters some past life trauma did nothing help. Especially the effects of a past rape on a young girl. It was almost insulting in that the author simply took a cookie cutout of what one possible effect could have been and used it to try and make her character sympathetic without ever really going any deeper into why that happened. You don't get any real feeling for the psychological toll this event and the years of keeping it a secret have really been like for this girl beyond the stereotyped behavior of promiscuity. When dealing with this kind of subject matter, especially making such a central point in your story, it's really very irresponsible and disrespectful to those who have actually survived a sexual assault to write about it without any apparent care to the complexity of such an event.

Let me tell you how much I love books about Motorcycle clubs. I LOOOOOVE Them. And this book was no exception. Add to that the hot steamy romance and drama and BAM!!! You’ve given me a book hangover. So you have to remember that this is book 2 in the series, Wilde Ride is book one. Wilde Ride give you the background for this book. You may want to look into that before reading this book. I recommend both. Okay…now onto the book. I love the chemistry that Jack (aka Diesel) and Payton share. She is such a wild child. Holds nothing back, tells you whats on her mind, and does what she wants. wham bam thank you man..and moves on. And he’s such a badass. The muscles, the Harley, knows how to talk dirty…. then they run into one another and BAM!!! If you know their history, you have to question if they can make it work. Can she give him another chance, while he’s working, and she working, and she’s also pretending to be in a relationship to make him jealous? There were so many times when I was like OH YES, she has GOT to make this work. but then she starts pushing him away. Then after we learn of what he went through..I’m like LOVE HIM PAYTON! Then when we learn about what she went through, and why she has nightmares… I was all.. JACK YOU GO GET THEM BOYS!! And… That scumbag… with her sister!!! Oh that’s not all the drama, don’t worry.. Then add in how it ALL ties together and you get some major OMG moments. Man Jack is hot! Had to throw that out there…. Not only do we have all that drama, we also meet his family. SURPRISE PAYTON! And oh heavens.. I have no comment. Let me just say I highly recommend this book and this you should read it… AFTER you read Wilde Ride, of course

One of the things we find really excellent about this series so far, is each novel has a different type of hot alpha male. Wilde Ride, had a hot motorcycle MC president, Sweet Ride has the hot alpha detective, and the next book will have a hot underground fighter. Jack may be the law, but still he’s still a motorcycle riding bad boy like we met in the first novel.
This novel focuses on Jack and Payton’s relationship, which takes places several years after the end of Wilde Ride. They both have not moved on from their sexy weekend together and a chance meeting throws them back into each others lives. We get a chance to learn more about Payton and why she struggles with relationships. In learning more about her character, her history and the thoughts inside her head you begin to like her as a person a lot more than you did in the previous novel. She was annoying and slutty; and now we know the reasons why. The fact that Jack did not give up on her and forces her to deal with her past demons, endeared him to us. He was not going to give up on her or what they could have together.

Much much better then previous one.
Totally different and more real. Maybe because the girl has issues and dark secret but I enjoyed this one hellova more.
Payton is badass chick and with short fuse and mean right hook so def one of the top heroines at the moment. Not the best, but to 15 maybe.
All in all, nothing new and nothing earth shattering but good ride with chick who never sleeps with the same guy twice.

Payton is so direct when she meets Jack for the first time. She likes him and it's obvious he likes her too. Time passes and Payton sees Jack again and once they do there is no hiding their feelings for one another. Poor Payton had such a traumatic experience when she was in high school that she thought that no one would really "love" her but Jack definitely makes her realize he will always love her!! Payton and Jack of course have other issues to deal with in this book such as Jack being a cop and trying to find "Dag" and his crew. Payton gets caught up in it but Jack is always there to rescue her. Their love for one another is intense and so what you want when you are looking for the love of your life. So glad that Payton and Jack have found one another and Iook forward to reading the next book in the series!

Ohhhh Jack!! I love a strong alpha man and who knew I love a strong woman too!! Sometimes I found her a little over the top and crass, but I loved how they were so perfect for each other. Love how much they love each other and how their passion seemed to have no end.

Gosh I loved this book. I'm so into books with sexual abuse history in females for a romance book. I love it. To see them overcome the problems and open there hearts. This is my type of story. I love jack. Their relationship makes me happy. Sorry kept me on edge. Good book. Liking this author.

This book had its moments, but the dialogue was stiff and cheesy, at times. It was definitely erotic and the characters were likeable. However, their pasts were a tad overdone to create drama, that I found hard to swallow! The heroine, on the other hand, had no problems swallowing! JUST SAYIN'!
