With a Foreword and an Appendix on the Four Colour Theorem by V. Krishnamurthy
About the book: Unique in its depth and breadth of theorem coverage, this book is intended as both a text and a reference for students of pure and applied mathematics, computer science and other areas to which graph theory applies. The text is also useful for advanced seminars on specific topics, and can supplement a course in combinatorial theory.
Table of Contents: Discovery / Graphs / Blocks / Trees / Connectivity / Partitions / Traversability / Line Graphs / Factorization / Coverings / Planarity / Colorability / Matrices / Groups / Enumeration / Digraphs
As far as I know this is the first textbook of Graph theory. Frank Harary was pretty much one of the few that made Graph theory so well known and established field. Maybe a bit of old style, but surely one of the classics.
Make sure to check Harary's papers at [1]. I really loved the paper about 'Internal Graphs'. His papers had always great titles and were very very very well written. One can learn a lot by reading his papers.
If anyone wishes to do research in Graph theory, my humble opinion is that he should start reading the papers of the giants of the past. Harary, was one of those giants, and I feel sad that I didn't get the chance to know him in person.
