RELENTLESS - Book One Lily Chandler lost her job and lost her apartment. The last thing she wants is to lose her heart to a small-town sexy cowboy who is known to love 'em and leave 'em. Rumored bad boy Luke Winchester needs to shed the reputation he hasn't earned if he wants more than a stolen kiss from Lily. Unfortunately, the scorned woman who stands in his way happens to be Lily's best friend. Lily intends to steer clear of temptation and remain loyal to her friend, but Luke's subtle yet relentless pursuit weakens her with each encounter. If she gives in, will she become another notch in his belt or find the love she's always longed for?
LAWLESS – Book Two She committed the ultimate sin... Ariana Trasatti betrayed her father, an organized crime boss, when she agreed to testify against him. Now the family will stop at nothing to silence her. But after eleven months in the witness protection program, her sanity is in as much danger as her life. When threatened with exposure, she's thrust into the care of a sexy small-town lawman who seems intent on distracting her from her fears. He's searching for redemption... Deputy Sheriff Milo Sykes couldn't turn down his old buddy's desperate call. There's a leak in the U.S. Marshals Service, and Milo is the only man he can trust. Milo never thought to provide protection for another witness, not after the tragedy he can't put behind him. But, one look into Ariana's eyes, and he knows he'll give his life to keep her safe. Nothing is what it seems... Milo soon realizes his biggest challenge isn't protecting Ariana from the mob, but protecting her from him. Temptation draws them in and passion ignites their world. But they're both headed for heartache when her past finally catches up to her.
COWBOYS AND ANGELS – Book Three Katy Rivers' life has been perfect so far. Perfectly boring, that is. She's lived by the rules and made all the safe choices. She has a great accounting job, her own home, and…zero fun. She's looking for a taste of excitement, but she gets more than she bargained for when the sexy, but off-limits bad boy she dreamt about in high school is suddenly back in her life and wanting more than her number. Scott Beckstead has grown up during the ten years since he dropped out of school. He's no longer the bad boy the town remembers. He owns a profitable construction company and keeps his wild adventures just this side of legal. A chance meeting with Katy reminds him of the one thing he always wanted, but never thought he could have. The holidays are a time to come together, but Katy's family and friends are determined to keep her and Scott apart. If she wants Scott to stay and wants the passionate nights beneath the Christmas tree to become a tradition, she's going to have to leave "safe" behind.

The Aspen Trilogy ~ Books 1-3 are all set in Aspen, Utah a small rural town. Three local bad boys and best friends all find the perfect woman for each of them in the first three books of this series.
One future bride has to overlook rumors about her cowboy started by her best friend to find true love. The second romance starts with the deputy sheriff taking an assignment to protect a witness in the US Marshal's witness protection waiting to testify. The third is a romance between the town good girl and a town bad boy with a reputation for trouble from high school.
Loved the characters, liked how they dealt with prejudice and helped each other too. Enjoyed all three happy endings and how they came back to help their friends in each book that followed their romance. Great series to far.
I like to read romance stories to relax and escape a little. These 3 books had a little adventure, romance and just enough steamy parts! Short enough that I didnt get too l caught up and not feed my family. I liked that the sexy characters from all 3 books were friends and intermingled in the same small town.
Book 0.5 Jerry and kimber This is the first in the series. Jerry is a wounded solider who was dumped by email then injured the same day. Kimber decides that the day he comes home she'll convince his she's a better stronger women that he can rely on and build a life with. It is till kimber's in a situation that makes Jerry reconsider he attitude towards the women he still loves. Love the small town feel and big family. Great HEA.
Book 1 Luke and lily. This is technically the second book in series which is about Luke Winchester. Lily loses her job and with her BFF decides to more to her BFF hometown of Aspen. What lily doesn't know is hannah is vindicated and lier. Before Luke left for college he dumped hannah because it wasn't serious. Hannah started lies saying Luke raped her and by the time he came back it was impossible to get people to believe him. Lily is a good huge of character and she feels straight away something isn't right with Hannah's story. Lovely slow building love story. Loved cat fight between hannah and lily. Great HEA.
Book 2 (Milo and Arianna) I did think Milo would end up with sienna but I'm really glad Arianna came in to picture. Arianna is a mob boss daughter and she's in protected custody till her fathers trial. Arianna is placed with Milo hoping no one will find her in a quite little town in Aspen. This book is mostly about Milo and Arianna building a relationship. I would have liked the have a epilogue of maybe the wedding or something. Otherwise great story.
Book 3 (Katy and Scott) Scott wasn't my favourite but I'm happily surprised that this book was great. I loved that Scott was the bad boy rebel but only because losing his mum at 16 his only parent effected so badly. No one saw this or the changes he made in his life to be a better person. It's only when Katy runs into him again and he starts wooing her that you see a completely different side to him. Katy has alway been a good girl and craves excited and a bit of danger. She thinks she can work out her frustration with Scott but she doesn't realise his out to get her heart until it's too late. Great story but wish there was a epilogue just to finish off HEA ending
Relentless 3/5 stars Lily and her friend Hannah have both been laid off from their jobs. Lily coaxes Hannah to let her go back to Hannah's hometown of Aspen, Utah...population 250. There she meets Luke immediately, but Hannah says he is a womanizer that tramples over people's hearts. And sticking to the girl code, Lily decides to stay away from Luke, though he doesn't seem at all like Hannah describes. But eventually, her feelings override that, and we learn the truth of what happened.
Let me say that Hannah seems to be nuts. I didn't like her from the get go. And her actions in the end are just plain crazy. How could she and Lily be best friends, and Lily never have seen that side of her? But I did like Luke, and his instant attraction. Somewhat sweet story.
Lawless 1/5 DNF. Araina is annoying. She takes her safety lightly, and lies. Rhis book was tedious, and nothing was happening. It just kept going on, and on, and on. I gave up when I skipped a couple if chapters, and hit immediately in a TSTL moment. She is in wit sec, but the decides to contact somebody in her old life. Then lies about it, endangering herself AND Milo. This upset me.
Cowboys and Angels 2.5 I didn't like how Katie was apologizing to Sienna, her supposed best friend, like she had done something wrong. It was Sienna being ugly, and judgemental. I wouldnt have been so forgiving of her meddling in my happiness, job, and love life over jealousy. I just don't like how this book is filled with so many negative characters. This book would've been so much better without three negative Nancy's. It was so sweet without all of that.
2.5stars good stories, likeable characters, but just when the relationships and story became really good it was over. Very quick HEA, no epilogue, very minimal character cross over in other two stories. As a devout reader I just felt unsatisfied with all three endings. This author has the potential to be good if she just wouldn't rush her endings. Readers become invested in the characters they are reading about, don't cut us short by just ending stories to move onto the next one. So glad I got this as a loan on kindle unlimited, I won't re-read or recommend to a friend.
Three short fun, romantic stories about strong sexy males who live in Aspen and manage to find true love in the small town.
The characters are easily likable and with endearing tales each story brings all the characters together so you are getting to know the Aspen residents personally.
This was a great free read and Ms. Stark's writing style makes these stories enjoyable read and I will definitely be looking out for her in the future.
I really liked all three of the Aspen trilogy books by Cindy Stark. In the tiny town of Aspen, even one knows your business. Gossip and rumors run amuck with the locals. It's up to 3 bad boys to show the women they love who they really are instead of the lies and rumors that surround them.
My only wish is the books would have been a bit longer. I wasn't ready for each story to end when they did.
Read book 0.5-Wounded, and liked the storyline. Continued with the 3 book set when a good sale came up. Reviewing each book as individual as well. Relentless: Hannah is such a nasty person. I can't stand her. I liked Luke and Lily's characters. I enjoyed the plot of the book but it seemed to end so abruptly, I felt caught off guard.
I don't mind.d a good quick read every now a.d then. I just wished the ending wasn't so fast. I also wished there was an epilogue. The characters were likable and the stories were good. Glad I bought and read them.
This is a really good box set. All three books are good reads. I had a hard time putting them down. Stayed up late several nights reading. Sexy, funny, romantic, hot. Highly recommend.
started out good and was a decent book but it was too short and their relationship went way to fast for it to be realistic. If the book would of been longer I feel like it could of been better.
