The second installment starts just where the first book left us. After Sarah ditches her best friend to have her "awful" date with Ari and leaves him at the restaurant while in arms of a stunning redhead she heads home. The next morning Lauren visits Sarah wanting an explanation of why she missed the Black Eyed Peas concert. Sarah tells her Ari is super sexy and billionaire and bla bla bla. Lauren is engaged and will have a party at The Hamptons. Sarah goes for a run while trying to decide what she should do with her mother´s lack of insurance to pay the hospital bills. While re tying her shoelace she almost gets run over by a cyclist. someone saves her.. Guess who?!! Yes Ari.. Of course.. He tries to talk to her but his son approaches and says he wants ice cream... SAY WHAT?!! SON?! WTF ... Is he married to the stunning redhead?!! SOAB.!!! MF!!! Behind the kid Red head appears and she flees from the scene of the crime ;). How is Ari getting away from this mess intact?! After he gets away with it ... he invites her to his penthouse to meet his family for her sons birthday.. What?! He says he´s not ready for formal relationships.. Why take her to his house and meet the family.. Agr some people are just so stupid. He has fallen for her and he hasn´t even noticed. Here my friends, you discover who´s messing around between the two lovebirds ;)

In this part you get to know more about Ari´s past. Why is he so scared and what role this is playing in his son´s life too. Just when you think... Awww this is a hearts and flowers story.. it gets twisted with friends approving someone close to the couple doesn´t :S Ouch *sigh*

This is a series review for all three books, as seen on www.smexybooks.com

So where to start…I purchased this set because it was recommended to me by Amazon, based on my past books, and the blurb sounded interesting. Plus at $4.99 for all 3 books, I thought why not? I can tell you why not. I found this series to be a frustrating and irritating hot mess of a read. Seriously, I could have saved my 5 bucks. I so wanted to “not finish” this series but I am just not that kind of reader. I can NOT walk away from a book. Maybe I am too much of a masochistic or maybe I am just too optimistic and hopeful; but either way, I just can’t put a series away without the follow through. So sometimes, more than I like actually, I end up wasting not only my money on a book (or series) but I also waste a lot of my time that I could spend elsewhere; and this was one of those times.

The blurb for this series was promising; a collection of books about a lowly, young New York girl that has received a bad hand in life. She is just trying to find a way to cut out some possible happiness in a world of loneliness and loss. Then enters your “drop dead, handsome stranger who seduces her on a train” and also turns out to be a highly sought after billionaire alpha male. I know, sounds intriguing; but let’s stop and review the above statement (something I clearly did not do before making my purchase). What on earth, is a hot BILLIONAIRE doing on a train first off (instead of being driven by his personal driver), and why would he need to seduce and take advantage of some strange (because let me just tell you nothing about this character flows from the way she dresses to her personality) young girl in a train’s bathroom? Then IF he was going to sex her up, the next turn of events would make no sense. They basically spend 3 books worth of reading going back and forth between that instant-love kind of attraction or completely ignoring and running from the attraction; which is not as good as I make it sound in that statement. Actually I think I make it sound better than it is written.

Basically, in the end, the author did not deliver. We meet a couple that has some kind of instant love kind of relationship, without even know each other, and without any kind of build up at all. The reader doesn’t even really get to know the characters much nor do we have an opportunity to build any kind of attachment to this couple as individuals, let alone their relationship. We are basically expected to just buy the hopeless love at first sight (or love at first climax) theory. Which, I don’t EVER like in a book. I want a story that builds and makes me fall in love with both the characters and their bond. Then we are to believe this 25yr old virgin would just give up her first time to some stranger on a train, without any thought of a condom or consequences, just because he is gorgeous. Okay, gorgeous or not, I instantly have no respect left for the heroine once she is played out like that. Then we spend the entire series in her head while she goes back and forth between meeting up with this man and wanting to have him; but then running away because other people in his life either also want him or hate her because she is beneath him. Seriously? Frustrating.

So any pro’s to this book you ask? Well, the hero isn’t too bad, but basically that is because he is so underdeveloped you don’t have anything available so you can find fault with him. However, it is infuriating that he keeps treating her like a dirty little secret. He refuses to spend the night with her; but as you find out his son is dealing with some serious childhood trauma experience, due to the hero’s ex, so this is ALMOST acceptable. ALMOST. The fact that the heroine continues to let him treat her as a dirty secret, however; is not acceptable. She has serious self-esteem issues. There is a twist that develops as the series moves on and that might be the only saving grace that helped me get through all 3 books. I kept thinking, this is going to get better as the books continue….it has too. Not for me. I finally made it to the end and thought; wow, why did I keep going? Anyway, there were a few people out there in goodreads land that liked this series. The sex scenes weren’t horrible. There is a small unexpected twist. And finally the plot had potential.

So, in the end, this series just lacked too much for my liking. I personally would give it a D- or F. However, weighing in the fact that my opinion is subjective, some people did like the series, and there were a couple of pro’s as mentioned; I think the best I could honestly give would be a D or D+ for the review. I am so sad to have felt so poorly about this series because I honestly wanted to like it so much, but in the end the series was just a bust for me.

Rating: D – D+ (which translates to a 2 star or less read)

Also, I was too unmotivated for a single quote or song relating to this series…

Derailed by Nelle L’Amour is the second book in the “Seduce by a Park Avenue Billionaire” series. Sarah goes away with Ari and his family for the weekend. Sarah learn why Ari isn’t looking for a long term relationship. His psycho ex-wife left him completely damaged. Sarah manages to get closer to Ari and his family, with the exception of his sister. She will do anything to get Sarah out of Ari's life.

It’s a little more shorter than the first one, but just as steamy. I do wish there was more, but the major cliffhanger makes up for it.

Good second book only a pity this is so short. Who is this mystery red haired woman who shows up everytime she meets Ari. She has enough now and runs away from him on their date, but Ari doesn't give up this time Sarah needs to meet this mystery woman.
Ari's crazy ex, she's no stranger to Sarah only she doesn't know yet but will find out soon how crazy this woman is !!

I was right! This book was good.
I love every part of it. Even the catty parts.
Although it's too short, but still love it so much.
Love the characters, the emotion, the dialogues.. all of them.
I kept re-reading this series so far.
A must read :)

***I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

This one was definitely an improvement to the first part Stranger on a train! I felt more of a connection and chemistry between Sarah and Ari in this part. Ari begins to open up more and share his past regarding his crazy ex-wife, which helps to explain why he keeps a guard up and is scared of commitment.

Sarah I felt that she was not as open. I didn't understand why she just wouldn't open her mouth and ask more open-ended questions and share some of her own past/present. She just choose to continue to worry herself about her mother's medical bills when she is dating a billionaire?? Like he wouldn't offer to help. Then, she has an evil boss who she just allows to run over her. Yes, I get she is trying to keep her job but still..wish she wouldn't told that boss something!

Well I guess the book needed some bit of drama/conflict and yes it did sucessfully create that drama. After Ari finally tells her what went down with his crazy ex-wife, there is a big shocker... This created some much needed drama and angst. Sarah runs away and tries to push Ari away but that doesn't last for long.

Overall, this part was much better that part one. I really began to feel the connection between these characters, besides on a sexual level. They definitely are hot for and with each other. This part had me thoroughly intrigued and I am now invested in these characters. I need them to get their HEA now!! On to part 3...

4 Stars to Story!
5 Stars for the Sex!

“Saarah, I must say you are definitely an expert when it comes to toys.”- Ari

(And he means ALL kinds of toys!)

This is an ADULTS ONLY sequel to Strangers on a Train. And it is HOT!
In Part 2, Derailed, Sarah, an aspiring toy designer, becomes more and
more drawn to wealthy Ari Golden. In Derailed, we learn much more
about Ari’s emotional baggage and what has made him so damaged. Ari is
clearly drawn to Sarah, and gives her a glimpse into his Park Avenue
and Southampton lifestyle. Sarah is completely swept away by the
hotness that is Ari all while trying to deal with her demanding boss
and take care of her gravely ill mother.

This very juicy novella with a plot twist or two and a cliffhanger
ending. I felt a sense of foreboding while reading this but I did NOT
guess what would happen at the end.

This is the perfect sexy series to read while you are on vacation or
even if you just wish you were on vacation! And really, isn’t that
what reading is all about?

And now it’s on to Part 3: FINAL DESTINATION!DerailedNelle L'Amour

This second installment was so much better than the first one and I kind of understand the authors way of describing and telling the story through Sarah a little better now. You get to know more of the insecurities that she has and what happened with Ari and his ex-wife that leave you with cold chills and terror.

To tell you the truth this book was more entertaining and with the steamy hot sex in the mix it leaves you feeling kinda intrigue with the characters and how their story can continue. One thing that is for sure is that I can't take out of my mind the last part of the book that will leave you with chills, shock, dread and like the title of the book itself 'Derailed '. I can't wait to read the final book in this series and see what will unfold in the next chapter of this story.

This is a train ride you will never forget. Sarah definitely never did and it changed the course of her life.

Meeting Ari and discovering the attraction they both share is just the starting point of this seductively delicious story. This is not your everyday boy meets girl story. Your emotions will run the range of all emotions as you discover all the undercurrents affecting this couple.

Commitment to each other is impossible, family and others running interference to separate them, life in general with impossible challenges... all conspire to prevent Sarah and Ari from coming together. This story will keep you at the edge of your seats until all is resolved... no guarantees of a happily ever after are ever given in life... will this work for our two lovers?

For me the book (All Three Parts) was Ok.

I enjoyed the story but thought that that the names of the lead characters were a bit cheesy, and Fernando was a bit annoying.

The first sex scene is a bit over the top, another 25 year old virgin start, and a bit forced and Sarah seems to be a bit of a drama queen.

To me Sarah is another "innocent", "beautiful", "perfect-daughter" "pushover". Ari seems to be a "brute" trying hard to be Christian Grey, with a bit of a twist.

Personally I wont re-read it and not necessarily recommend this book. But it has a good story line. I'll read more books from this author and would like to thank her for the opportunity to review the book.

I would say that my review of this book is pretty much the same as the previous for Strangers On a Train - Its good but its just a bit rushed and again I feel like the book should have just been one book, that would have made it alot more satisfying and not made me feel like it was just a money making exercise! (i'm sorry i hate writing stuff like that but just feel it good to have honest feedback)
But as I said before it is a good storyline and I have to know what happens next so on to the next!

All hail Ms L'Amour!!!! I am once again blown away at your wonderful writing skills!!!

The story of Sarah and Ari continues... they spend more time together, Ari gets close then pulls away, he shows Sarah he wants more but then he doesn't... it's mind boggling, but at the same time you can practically feel the electricity between the two of them, the animal attraction, the want the lust... And all in such a short book!

Four and a half stars again... I'm taking half a star away because I'm greedy and I wanted these books to be longer! I'm devouring them too quickly!

Sarah is annoying. I understand trying to make her look innocent but the innocence comes across as childish. The whole story feels rushed and unbelievable. The part where the kid almost drowned and nobody told Ari and the kid just starts playing like he didn't almost die...really? Ridiculous. The cell phone number on the $100 bill irritated me. The twist at the end is the only reason I'm going to continue reading...

I'm on the fence with The Seduced by the Park Avenue Billionaire series. Some parts of "Derailed" seemed like they were going somewhere and leading you to a decent backstory and other parts were scattered. Like "Strangers on a Train," as the author was getting towards the end of the installment story started to pick up a bit leading to a decent cliffhanger. The cliffhanger is what is sparking my interest to read book 3.

Loved the second book Derailed in this Seduced by the Park Avenue Billionaire series.

Read this book in a few hours, very addictive and really want to see how this series ends. My only wish was this series was one full book and a little longer but this is a great debut series by Nelle L'Amour :)

I received a copy of this book from the Author in exchange for an honest review.

This book was a lot better then the first book. There was a lot of sex, and there was a lot of controlling evident throughout this book. I actually enjoyed the ending the way it ended on that little cliffhanger!

I still don't like the characters all that much though.
Really can't get into it.

Another interesting installment, we learn more about why Ari is so distant in this one, it was nice to have more of a glimpse into his character and how he ticks.
All I had in my head when I read the last few lines was "Dum Dum Duuuuuuuuum" lol Way to leave us on a cliff hanger

3.99 again!

Enough of a story that I want to finish the series,
but the way he says her name is driving me in-fucking-sane

And to be honest the whole story would have benefited from slowing down, being longer and packing in some more details.

Okay book 3... I'm going in!

Book 1 left me wanting more. I wanted to know a bit more about the characters and where this was leading to. No longer strangers on a train but something more. I wanted to see what that more was. It didn't disappoint. Part 2 has more drama! twist, turns and more hot & steamy!

This is a really good 2nd book in the trilogy. The underlying insecurities Sarah had are still there but i think she understands Ari's need to compartmentalise things. The book is quite short as she only goes to work one day but oh my god what a cliff hanger!! On to book 3!!

Most read "Seduced on a Train" as that is book 1. As Ari & Sarah continue their love affair with no strings. Sarah is constantly second guessing why Ari is wants her. Their sex is still EXPLOSIVE in every way. Until Ari takes her to dinner & runs into Cassandra O'Toole...
