this is so sad - the human trafficking aspect, the 'harlot's' death, alone in the woods with no one to miss her -

there is so much that is childlike and hopeful about Pacifica that these darker aspects of her story are easier to take, although handled very seriously in the text. between Lutea and the heretic village (murder, guilt, redemption) and then that epilogue . . . a lot is packed into this small volume.

I honestly do not understand what the creators of this manga were going for. I love the anime but this is just...nothing. There is no depth to the story or characters like the anime and the art is really the best part but honestly it lacks most of the time. I'm pretty sad this isn't as good as the anime is, but I will finish it since it's only 3 volumes in total.

For a short series, I expected them to focus on the main plot more but both of these first two books have just been short stories. It was a neat idea but it felt like they never got around to it.

This epic Sci Fi fantasy goes on where Pacifica, Shannon, and Raquel flee from bounty hunters, who wants the head of the Scrapped Princess or Pacifica, who holds a deadly power that could destroy the world! Shannon and Raquel protect Pacifica from those who want her head and of someone who might be able to save her but when they find her she's not what she appears to be. I really like this book because it has everything I'd enjoy it was touching, sad action and more. Yes, this book has alot of action and betrayal also mystical stuff in it. Its also intresting with the people they meet on the way and the places they go. One of the best things about this book is the how the supense keeps rising and rising and there's also bloodshed. This is why I like this book so so so much.

My first reason why I like this book so much is the fact that this can be completely bad and good book at the same time, it has for one, sadness, action and its touching. Like when on their search Pacifica, who travels just with family and has had no freedom meets her first friend, and the way the make it and the words they say are so unusually touching its indescribable. But sadly after they have spent much time together bonding and knowing each other, a group of very strong people called the "PeaceMakers", end up killing her friend after they have spent years together. The group known as the deadly "Peace Makers", puts action in the story and makes you feel like you have front row seats to the action. That's just the beginning of why I like this book so much It is so much more to tell.

My following reason on why I like "Scrapped Princess" so much is because of the betrayal between people who seem very joined in relationship, and the mystical things in it. Like in the story Raquel meets a young girl abandoned in the rain he the gives her an umbrella for comfort, she then follows Raquel regardless of what he says to get her away. Her name is Cz she really trusted Raquel and looked up to as it seemed and Raquel took care of her. Eventually they accepted her on in the group as permanent member as they searched for the spirit who could save pacifica. But then one of pacifica's allies tells her that Cz is evil, and is plotting on attacking her, so she attacked but then a peacemaker appears and turns Cz into her true form, Cz then attacked pacifica . Raquel who was devastated to see this had no choice but to fight the one he saw as a little sister, he had to kill Cz. SO that's why I like this book so much, it has alot I wanted Cz to stay but sadly she didn't.

One of the best and final thing about this book was how the supsense kept raising and raising at a point. It started when the Pacifa, Shannon, and Raquel who were looking for the spirit to save pacifica then found her. But the spirit trapped the three in a another dimension, Shannon and Raquel had to protect pacifica with many challenges to come and focus on getting out of there. Within weeks they found there way through with will power but they were not unharmed they were all gravely injured. They then demanded the spirit its services for it had no choice but to do so because it had made a deal with them. But before that the spirit told of the pendant they could use to help save pacifica, but the spirit didn't give them the pendant she revealed her true form of a dragon and the pendant became its heart . Now Pacifca, Raquel, and Shannon had to battle the dragon in the condition they were in, could they win and save the world from complete annihilation or would they die in the process the story ends there.

This epic Sci Fi Fantasy where the Scrapped Princess, Shannon, and Raquel flee from the one's who wants to kill pacifica like bounty hunters, and even more deadly Peacemakers, in search of a spirit. In their journey they must face the sadness and agony of losing close friends. They must also feel the pain of betrayal of the ones they thought were very dear to them. And they must go through treacherous battles. This is why I like this book so so so much because all of this and so much more. The greatness of this cannot be explained in such a small write, that's how great this book is to me. So why don't you read it and see how great it really is.

I have watched the anime and read the novels. This manga jumps right into the story. It doesn't give you any background information. The manga has stories that are not told in the anime or novels.
