The Grid is the length of a short story (approximately 4,000 words). Show more Show less
While this was an extremely quick read, it did pack quite a bit of emotion and turmoil into the story. It would have been nice to have a little more back story on The Grid and appreciate how it got to this point though.
There is definitely a twist at the end but I can't say it was totally unexpected. I could easily see this being the foundation for a full novel, but as a short story it still will get your heart racing and have you anxious to find out what happens.
I'm totally disappointed by The Grid: it ended before it started. Leaves me behind with an unsatisfied feeling. A positive thing is that it started good, it builded up the excitement of oncoming suspense, but then it stopped. Just stopped!
