The Turned is a propulsive page turner. It is the 1700s in Hungary, and the novel begins with a horrifying attack of a farmer and his wife by what turns out to be a group of vicious vampires. Zander’s beloved wife and unborn child are brutally taken from him, and Zander is left to discover that he has become one of them …a vampire. Cursed to live for eternity reliving the brutal attack of his wife, his mission is revenge. This book is packed with drama, action, and characters that you will love.

Not your usual vampire story

This is a story as only Rob Kennedy could write. Quite funny at times, with Rob-isms. He has a fun dig about his "favorite" car. Superb ending. Want more!

A vampire novel with a difference. It's vampirical roots date back to the time of Christ unlike most which come out of Transylvania. It kept me totally engaged as Zander and Sydney try to keep humanity safe from an apocalyptic situation. Well recommended.
