55 books303 followersაკა მორჩილაძე დაიბადა 1966, წელს თბილისში. 1998 წლიდან დღემდე "ბაკურ სულაკაურის გამომცემლობის" მიერ მისი ოცი რომანი და მოთხრობების ორი კრებულია გამოცემული. მიღებული აქვს არაერთი ლიტერატურული პრემია. მისი ნაწარმოებების მიხედვით რამდენიმე ფილმი და სპექტაკლია გადაღებული და დადგმული. რომანი "სანტა ესპერანსა" გამოცემულია გერმანულ ენაზე პრესტიჟული გერმანული გამომცემლობის მიერ. ამჟამად ცხოვრობს და მუშაობს ლონდონში.
Born in 1966 in Tbilisi, is arguably the most outstanding, recognized and talented contemporary Georgian author of literary fiction. He studied and later taught Georgian History at Tbilisi State University; worked as a sports journalist in a sports daily newspaper and participated in Literature Express within Europe in 2000. Aka Morchiladze’s twenty novels and three books of short stories have been published by Sulakauri publishing since 1998. In 2005-2006 he was an author and presenter of one of the most interesting TV programs to date concerning literature. Several films and plays have been based on his works. Like Milorad Pavic, his favourite author, Morchiladze believes that a novel does not necessarily need to start at the beginning and proceed in a straight line to the end; instead, he takes Umberto Eco’s theory of the emancipated reader seriously. Currently, he lives and works in London, UK.

შეიძლება ჯამში ეს ყველაზე მეტადაც კი მომეწონა. აქ არის ბევრი ის, რაც სხვაგან არის ცოტა (მაგრამ არის) - მისტიკა, სულიერი [სხვანაირი] სიმშვიდე, უდაბნოა რა. უდაბნო კი მიყვარს!
