Can two lost souls find their way to love?

Worth It, Book 4

Anastasia Renaldi’s life is a complete lie. Disinherited from the family fashion-accessory business and informed she’s the illegitimate daughter of the famous—and long-dead—Michael Worth of Worth Luxury, she has no one to turn to. No real family, no job, no identity to claim. Lost and confused, she turns to the one man who can help her obtain what is rightfully hers.

Attorney Gavin Westmore is hired to discover the truth. Does Stasia Renaldi have a stake to claim in the Worth empire? From the moment he meets her, Gavin knows what sort of woman Stasia is. Calculating, devious—she won’t let anything or anyone get in the way of her pursuit of a fortune. As long as he can collect his generous fee, he’s fine with it.

But Gavin soon discovers his perception of Stasia is wrong. She truly is confused, a sweet, ambitious woman who wants what rightfully belongs to her. Soon they’re spending lots of time together—and it goes beyond the attorney/client type meetings. The only question is, after untangling the web of lies to get to the truth, whether there will be any room left for love.

A secret Worth sister? Yes, indeed. Not only will you catch a glimpse of all those delicious Worth brothers one last time, you’ll get to know their sweet, feisty sister—and the man who’ll tame her. All in the name of love.

Definitely better than the previous book.

Anastasia's one unlucky girl, but then again, that's life. I really don't like Hunter. He's mean and awful and he didn't even asks for Stasia's apology. I don't like him and I want a better closure than that.

Because I feel like the storyline went a little bit too fast, it annoyed me. Stasia's way too forgiving.

I enjoyed this one. I liked that Stasia never once considered Gavin's background to be beneath her. I liked that she wasn't after money, that she just wanted to know her new brothers. I could sympathize with her feeling "lost" -- her father had seen to that by insisting she could no longer work with her brothers. Or half-brothers, as it turned out to be. I felt really horrible for Stasia for having to bear the brunt of Claudia's actions. I can understand why Claudia didn't come clean, but I can't understand Giorgio turning his back on the woman who he honestly thought had been his daughter for years. He raised her and then basically cut her off because of something her mother did. It's not like Stasia had any choice in the matter... she was the result of the matter.

I can kind of understand why the Worth brothers were so hesistant to talk to her. I can understand, being wealthy people, that people probably constantly try to pull one over on them. And since the Renaldis had been their sort of rivals in the fashion world, that the youngest would simply want to know them as people instead of claim a piece of the pie... I can see them questioning her sincerity.

I really enjoyed watching the relationship between Stasia and Gavin grow. I wanted to smack her hard when she essentially tossed him aside. I guess maybe I get being scared, but then what? You're not going to just forget everything about this person! Talk to each other, people! ;-)

Anyway, it ended up very sweet and I was glad for their HEA.

I’ve been a huge fan of this series from the start, I’ve enjoyed watching each one of the Worth brothers meet their match and fall in love. That’s not to say I didn’t want to hit a couple of them over the head at times or better yet kick them where it hurts, but in the end I was truly satisfied with their stories. At the end of Worth The Challenge, we learn that Anastasia Renaldi is a product of an affair between the brother’s late father, Michael, and his business competitor’s wife, Claudia Renaldi. Yes, it was a huge scandal but at the same time I was cheering because that meant we got another Worth It book! There are many, many things I like about this book yet it also left me asking quite a few questions.

Anastasia (Stasia) Renaldi is drifting, she found out the reading of her father’s will, the man who raised her that she isn’t his biological child and in addition he’s cut her off from everything she knows. She’s approached her biological father’s family, only to be shunned. Out of desperation she turns to attorney Gavin Westmore who went to school with the oldest son of her biological father, Michael Worth. I’ll admit I kind of had a hard time liking Stasia; it was quite evident she was use to getting her way and when she didn’t she would get mad, then cry, and then give up. I found her to be a little uneven, fierce one minute and then timid the next. Perhaps it was the circumstances that made her his way or maybe it was her upbringing, but she just struck me as someone who wasn’t sure what she wanted even though she said she did. Don’t get me wrong, I can completely sympathize with what she was going through and that is one reason I didn’t hate her, but she just didn’t seem very genuine to me. As the book went on, I found myself drawn to her a little more especially after the Worth’s women got a hold of her but she still appeared just somewhat standoffish to me.

Gavin Westmore is a very complicated man and I don’t felt like we got the complete picture on him. I liked his character and it was evident the man has some deep emotional scars but he didn’t ever really deal with them. I do like that he shared a lot of his past with Stasia which was actually quite surprising, but I almost felt like he had to do it to make a point to her. It wasn’t something he really wanted to do but he felt forced to. I admire the fact that he tried to do that right thing and maintain a purely professional relationship with Stasia, but it was interesting to watch this very in charge man unable to maintain his control. I also like the fact that although Alex Worth is his friend, once he gets to know and understand Stacia he is completely loyal to her.

From the moment these two meet, their chemistry is undeniable. They are both determined nothing will come of it but a trip to Italy and an emotional minefield lead to a creative and combustible first time together. Gavin is a talker and Stasia likes to tease, so the intimate moments between these two are sexy, playful, and hot. Whew! However, there is more to this story than steamy sex, Stasia is trying to figure out her place in her brother’s lives (both sets of brothers) and Gavin is trying to help without getting in the way. He’s developing real feelings for Stasia but knows she’s not in the frame of mind to deal with that at this point in time. The Worth brothers, especially Alex and Hunter, treat Stasia horribly and instead of her Renaldi brothers helping her with this situation, they advise her to leave them alone. Once again faced with something she doesn’t like, Stasia flees hurting the one person who has done everything in his power to help her.

Things I enjoyed about this book; I loved seeing the Worth men and their significant others multiple times throughout this story. I especially enjoyed the way the women took Stacia under their wings and helped her through some tough decisions. It was nice that even being married to the pretty judgmental and stoic Worth’s hadn’t changed their personalities. I enjoyed the budding relationship with Stacia and Gavin and would have liked more time with them. I loved the scenes in Italy and would have gladly spent more time there. Gavin was a breath of fresh air as far as the men in this series go; he was a lot more approachable and even when hurt, he managed to be mostly civil. I especially loved the ending of this book; it made me see Stacia in a new light, one I liked! Things I didn’t love…..a lot…I have many, many questions that went unanswered. Way more than were answered, and that bothers me as it feels unfinished. I had all my questions written out in this review and then I realized it contained way too many spoilers so I had to erase them.

In the Worth It series, Karen Erickson has created a family dynasty with men who will infuriate you as easily as they charm you and women you can’t help but admire and adore. While Worth Everything is not my favorite in the series, it was a story that needed to be told and one that seriously shook up the Worth empire. I enjoyed this story and while the love story seemed to be somewhat overshadowed, seeing everyone from the previous books more than made up for it. I will caution that if you haven’t read the other books in this series you might be a little lost going into this one. For anyone who has read the Worth It series, this is a story you don’t want to miss but it’s likely to irritate you as much as it intrigues you!

A solid 3.5 but seeing as it is the end of the series I will give it a 4 because overall. I enjoyed the series and liked the way it ended (finally got some closure on Rhett and Gabriella).

It definitely wasn't my favourite of the 4 (I think that will go to Worth the Challenge) but it had everything that I loved about the series.

One aspect I liked was that it wasn't instant love at first sight. It was more of an attraction that developed into love and admiration. However, it did happen a little to fast for my tastes but I understood why they fell for each other so that didn't totally turn me off.

Unlike the other books, I didn't find this one as suspenseful. You had a corperate spy in the first one, a constantly changing romance in the second and business competition in the third. In this one you kind of knew how it was going to end and the plot wasn't all that exciting. Don't get me wrong, it was interesting but not as "turn the page NOW I need to know what happens!" kind of way like the others.

Overall, a solid ending to one series and a great set up for the spin off series. I have already pre-ordered my copy of Temporary Arrangement and can't wait for it!

4 out of 5 Licks

I am sad to see this series come to an end but I have a feeling there might be another one springing out of this (please Karen please!). Anastasia (Stasia) is certainly going through a rough patch. After her father dies she learns during the reading of his will that not only is he not her real father she is completely cut off from the family business and left to find her own way. Gavin (a sexy lawyer) doesn't expect to fall for Stasia but the chemistry between them is undeniable. I love that Stasia is such a strong willed character, but at times her pity parties became annoying. There were times when I felt like they caused the story to drag a bit. All in all I think Karen captured Stasia's emotions really well though. I can only imagine the turmoil she was going through. Gavin proved he was strong enough to see her through her pain and thankfully the Worth family snuck in to help get them together. It didn't even bother me that I was reading dirty scenes with a hero that shares the name of my 6-year-old son. lol Since I have a hard time letting my characters go I loved that she added an epilogue. It made a perfect ending to the book. I hope we get the opportunity to revisit the Worth/Renaldi crew sometime soon!

Surprise! The Worth brothers have a baby ½ sister. At the reading of her fathers will Anastasia Renaldi finds out at that she is not his biological daughter and she has been dis-inherited. She can’t work for the company she has worked for since she was 13. Her brothers (the Renaldi's) can’t help her unless they too want to be dis-inherited. She travels to New York to meet with the Worths but they are understandable leery. Enter Attorney Gavin Westmore. He is an old school chum of Alex Worth’s and Anastasia feels he might get her a meet with the Worths and help her get to the bottom of this. And if they find each other along they way…
I’ll say it right here. Hunter Worth is an ASS. I've read all the Worth series to date and Hunter has been an arrogant sob in each and every one. Other than that I loved this story.

I bought this book because I absolutely loved Karen Erickson's other Worth It books. While I was intrigued at the turn of events at the end of the third book, I wasn't as big a fan on this one. I literally teared up at points during the previous books, but Stasia seemed a little weak willed to me. In her search to find her family, she falls for attorney Gavin. I enjoyed the brief love/hate thing at the beginning but then Stasia seemed to loose all backbone. This was actually a very good book, I just didn't relate to the female lead nearly as well as I did with Erickson's previous books and I think that's why I was left a little unsatisfied. Have two more of the Renaldi books on my Kindle to start, so I'm hoping this was a one-off and that they will be more like the first books that I fell in love with.

So sad to see this series end but I'm glad the author gave us Gavin and Anatasia's story as a send off. They had incredible chemistry together and I enjoyed their relationship as they worked together to get the Worth brothers accept Stasia as their newly discovered half-sister. Of course, these brothers are made better because of the women they love and it was so nice to see them again and watch their friendship with Stasia unfold. My favorite part was the ending that set my heart a flutter....very romantic.

OK -- now I've finished the series ... BUT I noticed that there's more in line waiting to be read ... another side of the family ... so OK, I'll go for it!

In the meantime, I loved, loved, loved the Worth brothers ... and their women. All four books had well-developed characters, believable plots (if you believe in Pygmalion plots of rich sophisticated bosses/shy naive secretaries), and of course HEA -- or so far, HEA ... we still have two more weddings to attend! (I hope!)

In the meantime, I look forward to The Renaldis as well as other books by Karen Erickson.

I read the series out of order, probably not the best of ideas, but I really enjoyed these characters. You are introduced to the Renaldi family in this book and I was really wanting to learn more about them, too. Thankfully there is another series that will expand on this family and I am looking forward to getting started on it. The writing was very smooth and you are drawn in to the drama and the love. It was quite good, can't wait to go back and read books 2 & 3 to learn how the other 2 Worth brothers ended up where they did.

What a great book. The Worth brothers have a sister, a sister they knew nothing about,a sister who was flabbergasted to discover her father was not her father and he had written a will that not only disowned her but forbid her continued association with the family business. With the help of her attorney she manages to connect with her new family.

This book is just as good as the first three in the series. I am going to miss the Worth family

I enjoyed the book and the worth sister, Stasia's character, Gavin was also wonderful. I loved reading Gavin and Stasia's romance...so lovable characters. The whole book, we could always relate with both of the characters, and it was a great read for me.
We will meet whole Worth family in this, and it was nice to read previous characters!!
Hope to read more book by Ms. Erickson!

4th book in series. The Worth brothers find out they have a half sister Anastasia Renaldi from Italy. Stasia finds out in her fathers will that she is not his daughter and is cut out of the will. She hires Gavin Westmore a lawyer to help her set up a meeting to meet the Worth brothers. The boys want nothing to do with her. Gavin tries to help her thru this terrible situation and they end up falling for each other.

well written story, good plot, good developed characters and romance. Stasia found her way after her life went out of control after the reading of the will. I'm so glad that she got the truth from her mother and with Gavin's help faced her brothers. Glad to see that Stasia's Rinaldi bros. will get their stories.

I really like the way how things turned out here :D

Anastasia is an awesome, strong, and feisty woman. This book finally features what I've been looking for in the series for quite some time: a girl's night out! It was very nice when all the women got together and just talked :">

The ending, totally epic :))

I enjoyed the story. I liked the way it tied up all the questions. It wasn't my favorite of the Worth' s books.

Though it was interesting to see how the two rival families can come together for one person. Family is so much more than business.

I will read more of this author's books.
