What a great addition to the Unfaithful series by Joanne Clancy! This book concludes the story of Mark McNamara, who was tried and found guilty of hiring an assassin to kill his ex-wife and two others. Just when we thought we had it all figured out, and that justice was truly served, a little bit of doubt is introduced. Did he do it? Or was he wrongfully accused? The only way to find out is to read this story. And be prepared, there is a great surprising twist at the end! Needless to say, I loved this book. In addition to being an intriguing and suspenseful story, Joanne Clancy has a lovely, descriptive way of presenting the plot. You will feel as though you are on a tour of Ireland. Just an added bonus!

I received a free ebook copy from the author, in exchange for my honest review. I could not put this book down! The story picks up as Mark McNamara has been released from prison after serving five years, and wants to prove his innocence. The ending shocked me and was an amazing surprise. I hope that there will be yet another book in this series as I would love to find out even more about all the characters.

The saying 'hell have no fury like a woman scorned' is carried through to the bitter end in this brilliant novel, which is the third installment in the Unfaithful series and I highly recommend that you read all of them in order to really get the full measure of this thrilling tale. I must admit that it kept me gripped throughout and I certainly didn't fathom that it would turn out like that, for it had me guessing with all the central figures lining up nicely to hate Mark enough to punish him rather severely. But just how much can he take before it will be too much? And I can honestly state that I loved every page and thought that the author handled the scenes so well that they captivated your attention to the max and delivered totally on the entertainment front. So what more could you want from a book? The story focuses on what happens after Mark is released from his jail sentence, when he sets out to piece his life back together and wanting to discover the truth about who framed him in the first place and put him behind bars, because he still insists that he is innocent of the charges brought against him. We are introduced to a few new characters, who all play their part in trying to find out what really happened when Mark and his accomplice were accused and later convicted of plotting three women's murders, who are all connected on an intimate level with Mark to begin with. If there is another book forthcoming on this same subject then I will be chuffed to bits to read it but if not, then I will look forward to the next standalone one from Joanne Clancy for her writing gets more exciting and cleverer the more she writes so I can't wait to see what she publishes next.

I received a free download of "Web of Deceit"(Unfaithful Series, #3)from the author,Joanne Clancy, in exchange for an honest review.

I have read all of Joanne Clancy's books, including the previous two in this series. What an amazing writer. I loved it...and I didn't do anything today except read this novel, as I wanted to know how it would end. I was not disappointed.Once you start one of her novels, you can't stop until you finish it.

Mark McNamara has been released from prison after serving five years for being convicted of conspiring to murder three woman, one being his wife, after they found out about his numerous affairs. Now he is in an apartment, and wants a second chance, and is prepared to reveal everything about the evil web of deceit...but in time.Prison time has taught him to be patient.

Fergus Kelly, an award winning journalist, owned his own newspaper in Ireland called "The Stand".Mark approached Fergus with his new book, in order to prove his innocence.Fergus sent Mark to see Margaret Rowan (Maggie), a private investigator to assist him in proving his innocence and finding out who framed him.Maggie asked him for a list of his enemies.Aside from his ex-wife Rebecca,he had ongoing affairs with the following women: Penelope, an international model, Shona a sweet but naive partner and Jackie married to Colm and Shona's sister. What a mess!

But would Mark be able to prove his innocence?

This was a fast paced novel and one you won't be able to put down. The ending is a real surprise.

This is the 3rd book of a series by Joanne Clancy that started with Unfaithfully Yours and continued with Revenge. I thought the first book was very good, the second was great, and the third was "Hold onto your seats"!

Rebecca, Shona, and Penelope are not happy Mark has been released - some more upset than others - but just want to move on with their lives. Wherever they turn, something or someone reminds them of Mark.

Mark has served time for the crime of conspiracy to have his wife and two of his former mistresses murdered. The sentence was for 7 years, but after 5 he is out on good-behavior. He just wants to find out who framed him. He hires a PI and talks to the owner of a very successful newspaper, and according to his lawyer is working on book deals and a subsequent movie produced by Hollywood. He just wants his life back, and is now more of a prisoner on the outside as he is hounded by the press who camp on his doorstep. Ghosts from his past begin to appear and make threats. Does that mean he is getting close to finding out who was really behind framing him and having him sent to prison?

I received a copy of the book from the author to read and write an honest review for. I have to say I'm blessed to have been asked by this author for the privilege of reading her work! Granted, the books could use some editing, but most do. The story is wonderfully suspenseful - which I LOVE! Web of Deceit certainly held my interest! While at work, all I could think about was getting home so I could continue reading.

I cannot praise Joanne Clancy enough! The third book in this serious is so good. I couldn't put the book down and finished it in one day. I hope that the series is not finished because I want more! The characters are all so different and lead their own stories independently but yet perfectly intertwine with each other. The mystery side of the story leaves nothing to be desired, as it is entertaining and leaves you guessing "who done it" all the way to the end.

This book was amazing! I can't believe it ended the way that it did. I did not see that coming. The book starts with mark getting out of prison and trying to figure out who framed him for trying to murder the three women from the first two books. This book takes off after the first chapter and never stops twisting and turning.. Like I said I didn't see that ending coming and there better be another book coming!!
