A Companion Novel to The Proposition and The Proposal

After her former boyfriend left her pregnant and alone, Megan McKenzie swore off men. She spent the last eighteen months focused solely on her son, Mason, along with finishing nursing school at the top of her class. Although she’s not ready to complicate her life with a long-term relationship, a nice no-strings attached hook-up is just what she needs. At her godson, Noah’s, baptism, she finds the perfect candidate in the soft-spoken godfather, Pesh Nadeen. After all, the widower could use a good time too. But after drinking too much, the night doesn’t end the way she thought it would. Forced to leave Pesh’s house through a walk of shame, Megan hopes to never, ever see him again.

For Pesh Nadeen, the very sight of Megan sends him into an emotional tailspin. Since she reminds him too much of what he has lost, he wants to be out of her sight…at first. But the more he gets to know her, there's something about the diminutive blonde that causes his protective side to go into overdrive, and he finds himself wanting more. When Megan is assigned to work in his ER to complete her nursing clinicals, he sees it as fate, but she’s having no part of it. She only wants a physical relationship while he wants far more.

What happens next is a sexy game of cat and mouse to see who will break first or if both of them will eventually get more than they ever bargained for.

5 I heart Pesh stars!
 photo f94715f9-7c72-4066-bfa4-a583f1ae52e0_zps26d97d42.jpg

If you’re looking for a sweet, sexy and swoony romance, look no further! The Pairing made me remember why I loved Katie Ashley’s books to begin with. I’ve always felt that her Proposition series was her best stuff, and this only solidifies that. The Pairing is by far my favorite book of hers yet!

Pesh and Megan meet for the first time at Noah’s baptisim. You remember little Noah, right? Aidan and Emma’s child. Megan is Aidan’s niece. She has a son of her own, a little less than two years old. Pesh is the doctor that Emma became friends with. He is a widower and close friend. Aidan and Emma decide to make these two people godparents to their son. But Emma may have some ulterior motives...
"Nothing would make me happier than if you were to fall in love with Pesh."
With a laugh, Megan said, "Did you just hear anything I said? I'm anti-love."
"So was Aidan."

Megan is a hard working single mom and nursing student and she is not looking to settle down. Her son and finishing school are her first priority. After losing his wife, Pesh has found it very difficult to move on. He spends his extra time working extra shifts at the ER. But there is something about Megan. Something he likes and wants to peruse. Megan is attracted to Pesh. She wants him too, but not for a relationship. She’s not ready for that. She only wants fun.

 photo c4c61ca5-1eb4-45aa-8784-18ef5f5e1c7f_zps7daa9068.jpg
"So let me get this straight for once and for all. You would let me..." He paused, fighting the conflict within himself to say what he needed to.. He drew in a ragged breath. "You would let me fuck you but not love you?"

Pesh makes it his mission to try to convince Megan she is worth more than that. That he wants something special with her. He would treat her right. The way he is with her son made me melt. He really shows her what it means to feel love.

 photo 61f44fd7-61ef-405c-b41b-6bc34ba1912d_zps9a2560b4.jpg

Pesh and Megan still have different ideas of what their relationship should be, but they can’t continue to stay away from one another. They both really care for each other. Megan wants to be with Pesh. She knows he could be the guy for her, but is she really ready to take that step? She has a son, and school to think about. Is getting in a relationship with anyone smart? Pesh is persistent. He hasn’t felt this strongly about anyone since his wife. He didn’t know it was possible to feel this way again. He loves Megan and her son . If anyone could change Megan’s mind about moving forward into a relationship, it’s Pesh.

 photo b33b835d-424f-440c-a381-48a816987e22_zps05c30824.jpg

I’m not sure if I’ve made this clear enough, but I LOVED PESH! This guy... he was the entire package. Did he have flaws? If so, I didn’t notice. He really was the perfect man. Sweet, successful, swoony, patient, understanding and sexy as hell! He may seem like he’s tame, but he has his moments!
"Given the chance right now, you'd let me strip off your scrubs and fuck you up against the medicine cabinet." As her chest heaved up and down, she took a step back from him, bumping against the counter. "But you don't say things like that. You're refined. You're a gentleman."
"It may have been a while, but even a gentleman like me enjoys fucking."

I really liked Pesh and Megan together. Even thought there was a bit of an age difference, I felt like they were a good fit. They complimented each other well and they had wonderful chemistry. I liked Megan a lot. Usually the one in the relationship that pushes away annoys me, but I didn’t feel that way with her. I understood her reasons, and she fell pretty quickly for Pesh.

Heartfelt, sweet, sexy and moving. This book was contemporary romance perfection. Megan and Pesh were wonderful together, and it was great to catch up with Emma, Aidan and the rest of the Fitzpatrick clan. If you’re looking for a wonderful romantic read, I would highly recommend checking out this one!

At the end of the day, true love in it’s many forms was all you could really hope for and cling to.

5 stars for the Gorgeous Doctor ♥

Paging Dr. Nadeen...

 photo TP3_zpsb7e4abf6.jpg

This is the third book in THE PROPOSITION series. This one is about Megan and Pesh. Megan is Aidan's 25 yr niece, and 37 yr old Pesh is the doctor that helped Emma while she was on bedrest in the last book.
Megan meets hot, doctor Pesh at little baby Noah's baptism.(Noah belongs to Aidan and Emma) Megan has not had it easy the last few years. She is a single mom with an almost 2 yr old boy. She is instantly attracted to Pesh. Pesh has his own issues....his first wife died a few years ago, and he is not quite ready to move on....well until Megan. I really loved this one....I usually love my bad boy turns sweet but in this case he was such a sweetheart and she was the bad girl. HEA all around and can't wait to see what's next from this author ♥

"A man who isn't afraid of showing his emotions or his vulnerability is very SEXY."

 photo TP4_zpsb1b7fcf3.jpg

"It's one thing for you to be so good looking and a smart doctor, but when you add in the fact of how sweet, caring, and compassionate you are, it's like you're a triple threat."

 photo TP6_zps2cfff798.jpg

"You really are the most decent man I've ever known."

 photo TP5_zpsfa1940ae.jpg

"I love you and your talented fingers and dick, all of who give me wonderful orgasms."

At the end of the day, TRUE LOVE in its many forms was all you could really hope for and cling to.

I waited a long time in anticipation of Pesh's book! Unfortunately, I was a little let down by it; but not because it was a terrible story. My biggest complaint about "The Pairing" was that it was too nice, sweet, and flowery. I was a little torn because a big part of me didn't want major angst for Pesh. I mean, the poor doctor had enough tragedy on his plate to last a lifetime; so he really did deserve the best HEA as possible! When I read a story though, I like to have a wonderful relationship develop, and then maybe a few problems to overcome. With Megan and Pesh, once Megan got rid of her idea of just wanting sex instead of a relationship, everything went smoothly from there. I found myself several times waiting for a bomb to drop. At one point she had given some family jewels back to Pesh's brother, and I sat there thinking: "Oh, he is going to steal them isn't he?" LOL Pretty bad when I am creating scenarios of conflict in my head!!

In saying all of the negative stuff though, I have to make sure that readers realize that there were some very heartwarming scenes as well. Little Mason, who is Megan's son; made the story so much better. He was adorable, and the things that came out of his little mouth gave me warm fuzzies inside! It was also very nice to see Pesh get his HEA. I can't say that I would have wanted a woman like Megan for him; but Pesh seemed to like her just fine. They seemed to bring out the best in each other, and they fell for each other very fast and hard. I did think it was cute how Pesh would try and teach her Tantric Sex and the pleasures that go with taking your time and waiting; and Megan was an instant gratification girl who wanted it hard, fast, and dirty! They were both opposite personalities in so many ways; but they were able to meet half way most of the time and make their differences work for them instead of against them.

So there you have it, these are my thoughts on The Pairing. If you are a Katie Ashley fan, and have been following this series; then you will want to dig in and see Pesh get his HEA! I would recommend saving this book for when you need a light read, after a major heavy book. My opinion also stays the same though regarding Katie Ashley as an author. I find her extremely talented, and I believe she is a writer who can go as far up the ladder she wants to go. I look forward to checking out her future books that are to come.

Thank you to Steph for Buddy Reading this book with me! It was a pleasure as always Steph!♥

The first 50%, I like it because Pesh is so perfect. There is no fault on this man. Nothing! If only he is real. And not a fiction character in a fiction world. So I am so expecting how the story developed into the next 50%. The the last 50% is really going downhill. The story seems stop developing. Instead of throwing in a layer/ plot into the story, it pilled up with un necessary detail.

Like the second characters that also have nothing to do with the story development. Then still pilling it up with so many things such as engagement party, family jewels, the noisy family, the birth of Caroline etc. So many that I can not remember everything.

Overall I reward this book 3 stars due to Pesh. He is the only thing that is perfect. Other than that, I find it boring.

Oh Dr. McDreamy Bollywood you were a breath of fresh air!

”Don’t try to pin me as one thing or the other. Just take me as I am.”

Pesh was an extremely likable lead male character. He had all the right amounts of kindness and sex appeal. Katie Ashley truly did a wonderful job writing him and I really enjoyed seeing him get all the wonderful things in life he dreamed of.

I had a bit of a hard time connecting with Megan the first half of the story but Pesh liked her and her son was absolutely ADORABLE so all was good on my end.

The story was light on the drama (although Megan takes her time coming around). It was heavy on babies and heas and made for a sweet read with just the right amount of sexy.

5 the Doctor will see you now, stars!

We all remember Dr. Pesh Nadeen, the too-kind-for-his-own-good man that found himself sandwiched between two stubborn soul mates in The Proposal. He was that guy that was too sweet to really hate, but you still sort of wanted him to just turn up missing. Well ladies, the good doctor has returned and he’s better than he’s ever been.

It’s been two years since Pesh had to go on living without his wife at his side, one year since he thought he was in love with Emma. His heart still carries the burden of being in love with a ghost, not yet realizing that he doesn’t have to stop loving Jade in order to love someone else.

Megan has returned home, finishing her schooling to become a nurse after having to give up on her dreams of being a doctor. After being crushed by her last boyfriend, and after giving birth to her nearly two year old son, Mason. She’s not looking for love or romance, knowing that her sole focus needs to be on her son and her career – a casual affair is the only thing she thinks she can handle.

When these two are asked to be Noah’s Godparents, the sparks fly instantly. For the first time in a long time, Pesh is looking at a woman and seeing what a new future might hold for him. But Megan isn’t looking for much more than a fling and Pesh isn’t the type of man that can just give his body to a woman, he needs to be able to give her his heart as well.

Thus begins this flirty dance, of Pesh wanting more, Megan denying that there is something far deeper going on – but things shift as Pesh realizes that maybe by giving her what she wants, he’ll get her to realize just what could be, eventually leading him to getting what he wants. Her heart.

Now throw in a little adorable little boy and the rest of the Fitzgerald clan and you have a fantastic love story.

So I was one of these readers that just never really cared for Pesh while he was involved in the whole Emma & Aidan mess. I had never doubted how it would all turn out, but there was no way to see him for more than just a nice guy that was in the way of my Aidan. But that all changed during the Pairing.

I am the gal that likes the alpha male jerks that are all rough edges that once in a while go sweet. The good guy that seems too good to be true, I think they’re called gentleman, right?> Well these types never really gave me butterflies. That was until now. Every bit of hostility that I held for him that carried over from The Proposal faded into the background as he bared his soul, not only to Megan, but to the readers.

Katie Ashley did an amazing job showing his struggle with the loss of his wife, without making it the focus of the story. Megan was such a wonderful heroine that although fought her feelings just a bit, was so understanding of emotions that Pesh had. It was never a competition for his whole heart, there was insecurity that lingers because of a memory.

And Mason. That little boy, what a cutie pie! Throwing a kid into the mix of a romance can sometimes kill the mood a bit. Sure we all love our HEA complete and baby-makes-three endings, but a toddler at the start of a budding romance? This little boy fit in perfectly and just made Pesh shine.

There was one particular scene that just made me melt and brought on a few tears just from being so caught up in the exchange. It was such a pivotal part of the story for these two, and I could not imagine any other words being what were spoken to progress this story forward. They. Were. Perfect.

This just made me get that full heart feeling throughout the entire book. Another fantastic job by Katie Ashley giving us two more lovable characters, a wonderful love story; all created with the sheer brilliance of her words.

★★★½
The Pairing is the third installment in Katie Ashley's adult contemporary romance series titled The Proposition. It's been a while since I have read anything from this series but I fondly remember Pesh Nadeen's character, and am so glad Ms. Ashley offered some follow up for Pesh after his bouts of heartbreak. Although watching him fall in love in this installment was very satisfying, my investment ebbed and flowed due to the fact that I ended the last book with a slightly bad taste in my mouth for the female lead Megan. I have to admit, she grew on me in this one though - I enjoyed watching Ms. Ashley build her character into what would stereotypically be that of a man's behavior and thought process in most romance novels.

The Pairing offered multiple elements to include single parenting stressors, cross-cultural dating, and grief/loss. It is sweet and sexy, and my heartstrings felt some palpable tugs now and again. If you follow this series, then check out The Pairing!

4 *dreamy sigh* stars

If you’re looking for an angst-free, drama-free, chemistry-filled love story that is sweet but hot, featuring a super-functional couple – this is your book!

Tying in nicely with The Proposition and The Proposal, this is the story of Pesh and Megan, who we met earlier in the series. Megan is Aidan’s niece. She is a single mother who is working hard to create a life for her and her 15 month old son, Mason. She is smart, no-nonsense, and not afraid to go after what she wants. I really like her.

Pesh is the doctor that Emma dated briefly in The Proposal. Now if, like me, you were immensely irritated by that particular storyline, please don’t judge Pesh for it! Emma was the stupid one, Pesh got caught up in a situation he knew nothing about! Pesh is actually fantastic! Nicknamed “Dr Dreamy McBollywood”, he’s a good guy, and such a gentleman! Respectful, kind, caring, and intelligent, he’s gorgeously sexy but also emotional, and isn’t afraid to let people know how he is feeling. Still grieving the death of his wife two years ago, he is struggling to re-enter the dating world, but he’s brave enough to follow his heart, I really love that about him.

Megan and Pesh meet when, in a somewhat strange move, Aidan and Emma ask Pesh to be the godfather to their son, Noah. I must say, I thought this was a pretty weird way to bring him back into the story. Surely there was somebody closer to them that they could have chosen?! It is explained why Pesh was chosen, and even though it’s all very sweet, I still though it was strange. But I could get over it. Especially because Megan is to be Noah’s godmother, so it gives us a very nice set up to their first meeting.

Megan and Pesh are attracted to each other from the very beginning. The conversation and banter is easy, honest and witty, and had me smiling like a loon. And, in true Pesh form, he lets his feelings be known and puts it all out there for Megan very early on.

“Got a hero complex, huh? Wanna be every woman’s knight in shining armor?”
“Not every woman’s,” he murmured.
“Mmm, Pesh, you wanna be
my knight in shining armor?” As soon as the words left her lips, she fought the urge to slap her hand over her mouth. Alcohol always had this effect on her-it left her completely without a sensor.
Pesh’s jaw clenched, and he didn’t reply. Pitching her upper body over the armrest, she got as close to him as she could. “You didn’t answer my question.”
Taking his eyes momentarily off the road, he pinned her with an intense gaze. “I’d be anything and everything you wanted me to be, if you would give me the chance.”

Oh swoon!

The only problem is, Megan is not interested in a relationship. At 25, she is considerably younger than 37 year old Pesh, and having the last few years first pregnant and then looking after her son, she wants easy, no strings, fun (ie. sex). And she wants it with Pesh. But he wants so much more from her, and is not the type of guy to dive into something without getting his heart involved, and you’ve gotta respect him for wanting to do what he feels is right – for him and for Megan.

“If I take you, I’ll be making love to you. I’ll have you begging and pleading, but you’ll be coming so many times you’ll lose count. You’ll understand the difference between a quick tumble and the all-consuming power of a physical connection fueled by an emotional one.”
She rapidly blinked her blue eyes in disbelief while her cheeks flushed. “Oh God, did you actually just say that?”
“I did.” He gave her a teasing smile. “And you’ll be calling out my name more than his.”

Unwilling to compromise what they want, they hit a stalemate, but they have a continued presence in each other’s lives, and the feelings between them continue to grow as the UST hits dangerous levels. And behind Pesh’s gentlemanly nature, the hint of a sexy alpha is always there behind his actions and his words, and when he lets it loose…. phew!

“You’re not the type of man to fuck,” she countered.
His brows shot up. “Oh really? I’m too nice of a guy?”
“Something like that.”
“I’m a
man, Megan. We all have needs. Isn’t fucking one of them?”
Her body trembled slightly at his words. She licked her lips before replying, “S-Stop saying that word-it isn’t you.”
“So fucking isn’t me? Don’t tell me you think I’m totally asexual – that you can’t imagine me fucking a woman…fucking
you.” He eased in closer to her. “We both know for a fact that you wanted nothing more than to fuck me the night of Noah’s baptism. Given the chance right now, you’d let me strip off your scrubs and fuck you up against the medicine cabinet.”

Ummmm… yeah. Pesh is hot. Like… really hot! But, just like he promised, you can feel the emotional connection between them as well, and it makes it all so much more intense.

“Let me give you this pleasure. I want nothing more than to see you come apart.”

With the story told in dual POV, we get to follow both Megan and Pesh on their emotional journeys as they try to live without each other, and then finally decide that they can’t. The timeline moves quickly, so we get to see different stages of their relationship – from friendship which slowly develops into a romance, through milestones and special little moments that had me swooning at the emotional declarations, or grinning at the sweetness of it all, and, as I said, it’s all drama free as Pesh and Megan’s relationship grows, deepens, and becomes something incredibly special.

I love how Mason is included as a part of the story. His relationship with Pesh is absolutely gorgeous, and had me clutching my heart on multiple occasions. The book is so much more than just Pesh and Megan coming together, family is a really big theme too, and Mason and both of their families feature strongly in their story.

There is also a fair bit of Aidan and Emma, which I loved! Aidan is still so funny, and pretty much every time he appears in the book he made me laugh. His relationship with Megan is beautiful, and I like how he and Pesh start to become close. And, of course, he and Emma are still a fantastic couple, I loved every scene that included them, and their story progresses beautifully.

This is a really sweet read, perfect for fans of the series, but could probably also be read as a standalone if you wanted to (although I loved the first two books and don’t recommend skipping them). There’s no real storyline outside of the relationship, and there were moments towards the end of the book where it was leaning towards the overly-sappy side of things, but I’d rather take that than unnecessary drama and stupid conflict. There’s a sensational epilogue which finishes off not only Megan and Pesh’s story, but also Aidan and Emma’s, and it’s absolutely beautiful.

I really enjoyed it – 4 stars.

3 Stars for The Pairing (audiobook) by Katie Ashley read by Justine O. Keef.

On one level this is a cute romance where a single mom finds the perfect man to provide her and her child the support that they need. But on the other hand the more I think about the story it seems like it’s more of a fantasy than a romance. Girl only wants to hook up and not commit, and for some reason guy sticks around for her to come to her senses. And then everyone in his family accepts her. I don’t know, the more I thought about the story the less I liked it. And the story doesn’t have anything to do with the picture on the cover.

Bravo Katie Ashley for writing a gentleman hero who has his kink on in the bedroom, and his brain "on" the rest of the time. I like smart male heroes in books, and Katie Ashley wrote one in The Pairing. I loved Pesh's strength of character and how he never compromised his moral compass to get the girl. I could read heroes like him all day. A beautiful story.

I have to admit that this wasn't my favourite of the series. I preferred Aiden and Emma's books.
However, this was a really sweet, light and fun book to read.

There were times when the scales tipped over into 'holy-hell-cheeseville', which got a little too much for me. And I wished there was a bit more of a storyline to it instead of just all romance, but overall I really enjoyed it :)

EMMA IS HAVING TWINS! Poor AIDAN! LOL

Aidan raised his head. “If you’re asking if I’m nauseated now, the answer would be no. I’m not.

But on the other hand, if you’re asking if I get nauseous thinking about the fact that Emma could

have been pregnant with twins, and I would have had three kids under two and in diapers…”

Aidan shuddered. “Then yeah, I get really fucking nauseous, and the room starts to spin a little.”

I was so happy when I found out that Katie was going to be giving Megan and Pesh both their HEA !!!!

Megan after two failed relationships has sworn off relationships and is only interested in sexually connecting with another man. When she meets Pesh, she does not deny that he is sexy, sweet, and a true gentleman, but she is not interested in having a relationship with him.

Pesh Nadeen…. Otherwise known as Dr. McDreamy Bollywood. He has totally redeemed himself with me. He is such a gentleman and truly knows how to treat a woman. When he sets his eyes on Megan he is determined that he will have her and she will be his.

It was so fun to read the buildup of this relationship. I love how Megan did not give in right away with Pesh. I love how Pesh continued to fight for what he wanted.

Pesh with Mason was absolutely amazing. He was so great with him right from the start.
I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED having more Aidan and Emma as well.

I won’t give any more than that away . I always believe that a person needs to read and enjoy a book free of spoilers and exciting scenes. So I will leave you with this. If you have been waiting for this book, your wait is going to be well worth it. Katie did an amazing job bringing us Pesh and Megan and I believe you all will love it as much as I did.

Just realized that Katie Ashley brings Pesh over into the second book of her other series "Music of the Heart." He is in Beat of the Heart. I love when authors do that!!!!!

OMG Katie Ashley you're the bomb diggity!! 5 friggin' stars!!

I have to admit, although I thought Pesh was Dr. McDreamy Bollywood in the The Proposal, I was not a fan that he was infringing on Aidan and Emma’s relationship. That being said…I’ve had a COMPLETE change of heart! I LOVE PESH!! He’s a true gentleman when he needs to be but frankly (and SO THANKFUL!!) that he’s in a freak in the bedroom! Tantric sex…really! AH! But his heart has an empty space since losing his wife Jade and Megan is just the one to fill it. Megan doesn’t do relationships and would be happy just taking the good doctor for a spin! However, a true love story ensues. Two souls who have both loved and lost and in completely different ways, who for different reasons have not found the love they both so deserve...until now. Bound together as the godparents to Aidan and Emma’s son Noah, where they would go from the baptism was something that Megan definitely did not expect with the good doctor.

"Megan needs someone strong and stable like you are, and then you need someone who is so full of life like she is. I can guaran-damn-tee you that you've never been out with a woman like her before..." Aidan Fitzgerald

When Megan is placed at the same hospital for her nursing clinicals where Dr. Nadeen is a resident, things start to heat up and yes, you could say there were some panty melters in there! A first encounter in a supply closet that is HOT, HOT, HOT Pesh decides to give Megan what she wants in exchange for a date and the rest, as they say, is history.

Kristi laughed, "Oh no, I'm about to lose another one to Dr. Nadeen's charms, huh?" Shaking her head wildly Megan replied, "No, no, we're just friends." Kristi winked. "Yeah, just keep telling yourself that honey."

A sweet, lusty love story follows and does not disappoint! Sex, yes there's great sex...in the hospital, on food soiled sheets, a plane...yep, it's pretty good stuff!

"If I take you, I'll be making love to you. I'll have you begging and pleading, but you'll be coming so many times you'll lose count. You'll understand the difference between a quick tumble and the all-consuming power of a physical connection fueled by an emotional one." She rapidly blinked her blue eyes in disbelief while her cheeks flushed. "Oh God, did you actually just say that?" "I did." He gave her a teasing smile. "And you'll be calling out my name more than his."

I really just can't say enough...I just loved this story!! I was very thankful that it wasn't full of angst, just a sweet, sweet love story really. OH and how can I forget to mention how I adored how sweet Pesh was with Megan’s son Mason! Heartwarmingly sweet!! I was happy to get a little more of Aidan and Emma and I’m so happy that Katie gave Pesh and Megan their own love story. That being said, I'm sad to see them all go! Hopefully Katie will give us a little more somethin’ somethin’ with these characters! LOVED LOVED LOVED!

"You are everything I could ever want in a man. You love me, you watch out for me, you want the best for me. While that would be enough to make me want to marry you, you love my son. You watch out for him and you want the best for him." She sniffled. "I was so stupid for so long. I couldn't believe that someone like me could truly deserve someone like you. But you never gave up on me. If you give me the chance, I'll spend the rest of my life trying to make you happy."

~~ 5 Sweetest Love Story Stars ~~

This book was absolutely AMAZING!!!  Now I know why I love Katie Ashley's books so much.  They are filled with some of the greatest love stories.  This one was no different.  I have to say that The Pairing is my FAVORITE Katie Ashley book to date!!!  This book was flawless and was so full of love and sweet emotion...it completely warmed my heart.  I love Katie's writing style...her books all flow well and are written at the right pace...nothing too fast or too slow.  Now The Pairing is listed as a Companion Novel to The Proposition and The Proposal, and it truly is because we get to see other characters from those 2 books in this book, but don't let that stop you from reading this book as a stand alone.  Katie does a fantastic job filling in the spaces so you never feel lost if you haven't read Aiden and Emma's story.  If you are one like me, who doesn't want anything ruined by reading out of order, then you will want to read books 1 & 2 first because this book does spoil something's from those books.  I don't think I can truly express how much I loved this book...when I was done with it all I know is that it left me smiling and feeling all warm and fuzzy on the inside.  This was really the best book I could've read right before Valentine's Day.

This is the story of Pesh and Megan...we meet these two throughout the first two books.  I loved these two together.  Even though there is a 12 yr age difference, these two just matched well. They truly complimented each other.  I loved Megan...she was a fantastic leading lady.  She was such a strong ,and even alittle sassy, person.  She had encountered some bad men in the past so she was pretty reluctant to start a serious relationship.  She had a son Mason to take care and she knew what she wanted out of her life and she refused to be distracted or sidelined.  So when she met Pesh at a family function, she thought it would be better just to have a casual fling, well Pesh wasn't having that.  He was ready to settle down and start a family.  He had a tragic event happen many years earlier and he finally, now was willing to open himself up again, with Megan.  So what happens now??  Is a really cute game of cat and mouse between these two.  Normally it drives me batty when one of the characters fight their feelings but in this book it didn't bother me, I think it's because I respect Megan's thought process behind it.  I also loved that when there was a slight blip in the road brought on by an outsider...Megan and Pesh dealt with it together.  We didn't see that jealousy thing or that "taking a break" misunderstanding we usually see in a book like this.  These two were the best functioning couple I've read in awhile.  I can't say enough about Pesh...he was truly too good to be true.  I kept waiting for something to happen or some flaw to come out, but there were NONE!!!  You need to read this book and experience these two characters for yourself....you won't be disappointed!!!!

"I'd be anything and everything you wanted me to be, if you would give me the chance."…..Pesh

"If I take you, I'll be making love to you. I'll have you begging and pleading, but you'll be coming so many times you'll lose count. You'll understand the difference between a quick tumble and the all-consuming power of a physical connection fueled by an emotional one."….Pesh

I also loved watching Aiden and Emma grow as a couple and a family in this book.  I was glad to see them be such a big part of this story :)

So as you can probably guess from this review...I would DEFINITELY recommend this book, either as a stand alone or as part of this series!!!  If you are looking for that all around truly feel good love story without major drama and angst this is the book for you.  And let me tell you, if you are looking for steam...this book doesn't disappoint ;)

So there's this Dr. McDreamy Bollywood guy named Pesh...
john abraham photo: john-abraham-14 John-Abraham_17.jpg

All he wants is to find love, after his wife died the love of his life he had been existing and not living... until he becomes a Godfather.. to Emma and Aiden's son. Thats where he meets the single mother soon to be nurse Megan.

hayden panettiere photo: Hayden Panettiere Hayden.jpg

Megan doesn't ever want to give her heart away again.. ever. Her baby daddy although famous is a dead beat dad, she had to give up her dream of becoming a doctor and instead is in nursing school. She is instantly attracted to Pesh but can't give the time it would take to actucally date anybody. Her focus has to be on school and her son and nothing else. It may take a while and compromises will be made but the story of Pesh and Megan is steamy.. sexy.. and beautiful. A must read if you enjoyed the Proposition, the Proposal and the Party. If you loved Aiden and Emma no worries because they are featured throughout the book and you'll get your funny fix on!

The book is not bad, but there was a lot lacking.

I feel like the book was rushed. I couldn't connect to any character. Pesh is a walking contradiction, and I'm not refering about him talking about sex/ fucking or whatever... It's about attitudes, and to me, his didn't add up! Megan was all over the place and her epiphany? Lame!

I think it missed on showing more of Megan and Mason. And by the way... 1 year old kids can speak all that much? Really!? Because I don't remember any of my little cousins talking all that much and that well at the age of one!
Also about Mason, I think it could've shown more about Pesh with Mason. One or two moments with the kid and say that they got along fine and that Mason even said Pesh was his daddy was kinda weak, it didn't make me cry... and I'm easy for crying!

The part where Pesh is Indian and Megan knows nothing about the culture, could've been so much more explored, but all we could get was one lame chapter... Sad.

As I said the book is not bad, it just doesn't come even close to the goodness that is "The Proposition" or "The Proposal". The best scenes and moments were when Aidan and Emma were involved!

But it has a really sweet ending to the story and I kinda forgave the whole book because of the sweet ending, that made me cry a little.

Welcome back the Fitzgerald's! This is one of my favorite series. You always have a favorite character you swoon over in a book, well for me, it has always been Aiden Fitzgerald. Now comes along Dr. Nadeen (Pesh) well he certainly tipped the scales in this book. I knew he was a romantic at heart, but he blew me away with love & tenderness for Megan Fitzgerald (Aiden's niece & godmother to baby Noah) Megan is a tough cookie with heartache in her past, but she moves on every day raising her son & working hard to be a nurse. Dr. Pesh is still grieving over the loss of his wife, and basically is a workaholic that just shifts from day to day until...He meets Megan. The come together as god parent's to Baby Noah, and immediately feel a connection with each other. Pesh has his work cut out for him with Megan. She doesn't make it easy for him, but not giving up, he pursues away. So much more to say about this couple that I love so much, but you have to read it for yourself. This book is so much fun. I laughed out loud through so many pages. It is one series that I will surely miss, but will always have the pleasure to re-visit in the future. Great job Katie!

3.5 DR. MCDREAMY BOLLYWOOD STARS

Although I loved Pesh and Emma's story, it missed some umph to it. I don't need drama and angst, but there really wasn't any. Other than Megan's ridiculous notion that she was too young to get serious about anyone so she put him off.

I liked reading Aidan and Emma again. They are always hilarious.

I loved Megan's son Mason, although it seemed his vocabulary at 17 months was spectacular. I loved how Pesh fell for him and almost expected Megan's ex to either come back and try to lay claim on him or fight Pesh's relationship with Mason, but that' didn't happen either. It was all kinda straight forward, easy fall in love kind of book.

Now all this may sound like I didn't like it, which I did. I found him lovely and her sweet. So this is why it's getting 3.5 stars for me. Enjoyed the read and the story of them, but its not the book I will read over and over.

I am fascinated about Dev's ex being Mia who ends up with AJ in a Runaway Train book. Looks like I will ahve to read that series.

This was super sweet..but maybe too sweet? That was my issue. I was expecting some real twists and drama happening() but it was just happy and super adorable things happening one after the other. I was expecting them to have some problems to overcome.

It was still an enjoyable read though with awesome characters: Pesh(Does such a perfect man even exist for real?) and Megan(She was awesome and so outgoing). There were some sexy scenes and also heartwarming scenes that made me tear up a little() Nice time-pass.
