وصف لرحلة المؤلف إلى لبنان وسورية بهدف السياحة والبحث عن خيول أصيلة
رحلة خفيفة وسريعة لا يطيل المكث في أي مدينة
وبالتالي كان الوصف عاما مع ملاحظات للمؤلف وبعض سوانح فكره
تضيء بشكل لا بأس به على عصر المؤلف وأوضاعه السياسية والاجتماعية
