Sexy incubus vamp + saucy witch = holy hotness!
Payne is a relatively new character to the series but ever since I saw him protect Chica in book 4 and we learned he had a dark mysterious secret, I knew he would be a hero to be remembered! Payne and Elissa have some seriously hot chemistry, and his darker side is just as dangerous as he warns her it can be. One of the things I love most about this story is that both characters are willing to dig deeper and cross a few moral lines to protect the other. The entire novella has a feel of impending danger and the sex scenes are smokin' hot. One in particular is so memorable, I still think about it after reading several other books; if you enjoy seeing a sexy, powerful man bound and dominated, you will drool all over this story!
We also get another glimpse into the deterioration of Snow's mental state, priming the anticipation for his story that much more. If you're a VET fan already, this book is a must-read. If you're new to the series, start with Covet so you don't get confused by all the new characters and past story arcs. And carve out some alone time to read this one - you're going to fly right through it and grumble at any interruptions!

Bewitch is the fifth story in Felicity Heaton's Vampire Erotic Theatre series and the first full length novel. Although I've enjoyed the previous novellas it was great to have a longer story to really get my teeth into and I think Bewitch is my favourite in the series so far. Each of these stories does work as a stand alone but I would recommend reading all of the books in order, they are great steamy reads and I've thoroughly enjoyed them all.
Payne has promised his friend Andreu that he will help find a solution to the curse that was placed on Varya but he seems to be running out of options. Everything he has tried so far has failed and his last chance is to find someone from the fae realm who can help him get his hands on a very rare artefact that might break the spell. Unfortunately it isn't easy to get any of the fae to trust someone who is half vampire and half incubus. That is where the witch Elissa comes in, she has her own reasons for helping Payne but only if he will return the favour. She will help him find the artefact but only if he helps her recover something precious that was stolen from her and has been hidden in the same location.
I already knew that I was going to love Payne's story and I'm so glad that he lived up to my expectations. We get to know him so much better here and we finally understand why he hates his incubus side so much. He has a dark past, one that broke my heart to read about, so I really was pleased to see him get a happy ending. Payne gives new meaning to tortured heroes, his vampire and incubus sides are constantly at war with each other and he has spent so long being afraid of his incubus side that he has lost the ability to control his powers. It makes him terrified of making a mistake and hurting Elissa but she is determined to break through his tough shell and act on the chemistry between them. If you've read any of the previous stories in the series you'll be expecting a hot read but trust me this was the most scorching one yet and I'm surprised that Payne and Elissa didn't melt my kindle!
Both of these characters have very good reasons not to trust each other and they are both wary of getting hurt again so one of the things I really appreciated was how naturally their relationship develops. They slowly grow to trust each other as they spend more time together. One of the things I loved the most about Elissa was the fact that she saw the whole of Payne, even the parts he tries so hard to keep hidden. It is thanks to her help that Payne finally starts to accept who he is and feels like he can put his past behind him and look towards the future.
If you're looking for a hot, spicy read with elements of kink and a real emotional connection between the characters then Bewitch is just want you need. Another fantastic instalment to a wonderful series and I'm dying to get my hands on the next book to finally have the chance to read Snow's story!

Bewitch is Splendid in character development, vivid descriptions, and as per usual: an engaging storyline. Of course with the electricity coming right off the pages you will certainly be not only bewitched by this instalment of The Vampire Erotic series it will leave you wanting more!!
This story is set away from The Vampire Erotic theatre, and for me it was certainly a nice change in the storyline to be set elsewhere. Not that I don’t enjoy the Vampire Erotic Theatre aspects, but Payne and Elissa ventured into unknown territory to help others in need, and away from the Theatre. However we do see the characters from the previous books in this story.
Bewitch is filled with passion and forbidden love, loss, heartache and tortured souls.
Felicity always portrays her tortured heroes with such depth you can’t help but fall for them, feel sorry for them, as well as see the story behind them. We are given insight into Payne’s painful past but also into his future with Elissa and a journey not only of love but forgiveness and moving on.
Elissa is a little witch in more ways then one ;)
She not only tantalizes Payne but shows him her wicked ways.
I enjoyed her as a character and even at times the quirky banter. She is a strong female character , this I enjoy - not a whiney female you often read in romance stories.
This is Payne’s story – and it’s a little darker than most of the series to date. Felicity has also woven elements of Bsdm into this novel. Very mild but tantalizing and luscious none the less. It certainly has the heat cranked up in this instalment, giving the reader not only a taste of submission but also great interaction between the characters.
The chemistry between Payne and Elissa is off the charts, a witch – and an Incubus who refuses to submit to his nature. Elissa not only brings out the side of Payne he wants to hide, but has him wanting more than just passion.
Overall – This fifth instalment of this series is my favourite to date... But I’m sure I say that with every new instalment loll.
If you’re after smoking hot vampires, deliciously sexy scenes, and a storyline that will pique your attention from page one then this Vampire Erotic story is for you!

Payne is half vampire, half incubus but embraced only his vampire side. Due to a tragic past, he has abandoned any connections with his vampire family. And most certainly will not entertain any connections with his fae roots. But as his friend and his mate is in need, Payne will stop at nothing to help. Elissa is a witch on her own and on a mission to retrieve what matters to her
most. Just like Payne, she will do everything in her power to achieve what she needs. If it takes working with a vampire-incubus, so be it.
I thought Payne and Elissa were perfect for each other. They have been alone all their lives and finally finding someone is just well deserved. They were definitely hot for each other, hot enough readers will feel their passion through the pages. I have to say, I did not expect Payne to have so much…animation. He has always been so standoff-ish and we really get to see this nitty gritty side of him. Of course, it is great to see the rest of the VET characters and Ms. Heaton never fails to provide her readers that satisfaction. I just love seeing them come together and protect each other. But what stroke me senseless was the sight of Snow, who I’ve totally lusted over from the beginning. Boy, his “dark side” showed even more in this book. I totally felt for him. With his book up next and knowing it is the last of the VET series, anticipation has really built up. I
have no doubt Ms. Heaton is preparing us for an epic story.
What I like about Ms. Heaton’s VET series is that she never fails to deliver just the right amount of romance, steamy scenes, well-developed characters and some action in her short stories. That is why it is so easy for me to recommend this series, she never disappoints.

I'm a big big fan of this series and have loved them all and this one is no exception Felicity doesn't fail to draw in back into the world of The Vampire Erotic Theatre.
This well written, fast flowing, plot thrilling story will take you through Payne's suffering he's highs and lows and well his damn right sexiness.And oh my was the sex in this book Hot it was scorching hot.
I don't want to spoil the plot to much for you all but family plays a big part in the storyline.How they can hurt you by their actions and how that one word can turn your world upside down.
You also find out what Payne has gone through and you find out why he chose the name Payne
why he fights his incubus side and what he really wants even if he doesn't know it.
Elissa is a great character i couldn't help but smile when she tries to seduce Payne and lets her dominate side take control,i did say the sex was hot right :)
She has also gone through pain in her life and when she turns to Payne to help her get back what she swore to protect,she finds herself torn between the world she knows and what Payne could offer her.
Will they have their happy ever after once again my friends you will only know when you read the book. :)
I can't wait to read the next story in this series and it's all about SNOW be still my beating heart this is one I've been waiting for since i read the first book.

Bewitch is the fifth book in the Vampire Erotic Theater series. This book focuses on Payne. Payne thinks he is an abomination that does not belong in the world because of his mixed blood. He is on a mission to help his friends when he meets a witch who he can't resist.
Payne is a very sexy and very alpha male. He is also a tortured soul, because he feels cast out. He also feels like he can only bring hurt to those he cares about, and holds himself back from those around him. I loved how Heaton portrayed his vulnerability to the reader. Elissa is the perfect fit for Payne. She shows a patience and understanding with Payne that makes her character very likable. Heaton has done a prime job with creating all of the characters, and as a reader it is effortless building an attachment to each and every one.
Although the books in this series are relatively short they are full of sizzling sex coupled with exciting storylines. I recommend readers start from the beginning because past characters make appearances, and I don't believe you can fully appreciate the story if you don't know about them.

I have read the other four books in this series and when I read a new one it becomes my new favorite. Felicity has a way to make her characters grab my heart with a vengeance. Bewitch could be a standalone but I feel it is best that you read the whole series in order to introduce yourself with the other wickedly sexy characters in the series. It will enhance the story even more.
Prepare yourself for steamy sexual encounters. It is not for the faint of heart because your heart will be stolen by Payne and your blood pressure will likely rise due to the sizzling erotic episodes. Payne is wonderful hero.
Tormented by his past, he hates what he is. He is far more vulnerable than my usual perception of a vampire and that just makes me love him even more.

Bewitch is another fantastic addition to the Vampire Erotic Theatre series. This story mostly occurs away from the theatre and is about Payne. He is on a quest to help Andreu with his mate, who is tied to the theatre. Payne encounters a witch named Elissa who is in trouble. This story was easy to get sucked into and learn more about Payne and his past as well as Elissa’s. I don’t like to give stories away, so you have to read it to know what happens. If you have not yet read this series, I highly recommend it Felicity Heaton is a mandatory addition to anyone’s library who love paranormal romance.

I have been following the Vampire Erotic Theatre Romance series by Felicity E. Heaton since book 1 and I am never disappointed in the care that the author takes in describing in detail the interactions between the lead characters. In Bewitch the author give another fantastic story surrounding love, redemption, and most of all forgiveness.
Payne is half-vampire, half-incubus and he has never accepted his incubus side for some reason which we discover in the novel. I have to say I loved Payne. He has this bad boy vibe going on, but underneath the tough exterior is really a lost soul trying to find a place to fit in and a need to be loved. I was surprised learn about his history and the reason for his self-loathing which made me want to hug him, hold him and make him mine. It amazed me at times that he couldn't see how gorgeous he was not only on the outside, but also on the inside. He just couldn't see himself desirable only as an abomination unworthy of being loved. Oh Payne I love you!
Elissa on the other hand has her own share of pain, but she manages to tackle through obstacles in front of her to achieve her goals. I found Elissa to be a very spirited young witch who wouldn't back down from a challenge and what was right which made her a likable character. Though her doubts clouded her thinking at times she was able to get past them and see the truth: despite the dangers she couldn't stop herself from falling for Payne. I liked Elissa as she was exactly what Payne needed, a kind soul able to push him to where he needed to go in his journey of self-discovery without being very confrontational.
Together these two really burned up the pages, not only with hot steamy sexy scenes, but also with undeniable passion that neither could ignore. The love, the redemption and the forgiveness that was rewarded to each of them pulled at my heart-string and made me love how these two developed a deep understanding and connection for each other.
Now for all those Snow fans out there (including myself) we got a brief glimpse of him in this book, but what you see will make you ache for him and for his own happily ever after. However, you don't have to wait long as the next book in the series is Snow's and I know because of his tortured past it is going to be a tearjeaker. Don't miss out reading this book as you will be in for a delightful treat with a beautiful vampire/incubus willing to fight his basic urges to find out if he can have happiness in the arms of a witch.

Ms. Heaton's talent for a scorchingly sexy read with multi-faceted characters is undeniable!
The latest installment of the Vampire Erotic Theatre Romance series follows the newest member of the theater, vampire and bad boy, Payne. He was first introduced in Enslave, when he revealed his long kept secret, that he's part incubus. Usually a loner, Payne has found a family among the vampires in the theater. When he's asked to help his friend Andreu and his mate by venturing into the fae underworld, Payne reluctantly agrees, knowing he's in danger of giving in to his dark side. Enter Elissa, a witch who needs Payne's help as much as he needs hers. Together this mysterious vampire and dominant witch embark on a journey to save the ones they love, while indulging in their own desires.
Payne is another great addition to this series. He's sexy, tortured and has a dark side he tries to keep locked away. He has a dark past that has left him scarred and self-loathing. Even with all his damage, this brooding vampire won me over, you know there's more to him than meets the eye and it's evident when he meets Elissa. I love to watch a tortured hero wear his heart on his sleeve when he finally meets "the one," and Payne was no exception...his soul-bearing moments were some of my favorite scenes.
Elissa, while not tortured like Payne, has lived a secluded and lonely life. She's strong, loyal and has a sassy streak that makes her a perfect match for Payne. There's an undeniable chemistry between the two, but it's the patience and fearlessness in Elissa that breaks this bad boy, ultimately showing us his vulnerability and heart. These two characters start off as a forbidden romance, break the rules and follow their hearts for a chance at their own happiness. Their journey isn't an easy one, but in each other they find the strength to heal their emotional scars and leave the past behind them.
Felicity Heaton delivers another swoon-worthy hero in Bewitch. This is the first story that takes place away from the Vampirerotique Theatre and allows the main characters to really connect, without any outside influence (a brilliant move on the author's part). Payne and Elissa heat up the pages with their intensity and sexiness, but will also pull at your heartstrings with their pain and devotion. Bewitch is an emotionally charged read that will leave you breathless. Bravo Ms. Heaton!

Bewitch is the 5th book in the 'Vampire Erotic Theatre' series by the very talented Felicity Heaton.
This is Payne's story and, unlike most of the books so far, the setting for this story was away from the theatre and our usual adored cast of characters. This however, does not detract in any way from the book – if anything, it gives the reader the chance to fully get to know and understand Payne without being distracted by the other hunky vamps he works and lives with (though we do get to see them all again during this story – phew!!)
Payne is on a mission to help Andreu & Chica (Varya) and he needs the assistance of someone in the fae world. This is where he encounters Elissa, who is a witch. There's an instant spark between them and throughout the story we view the development of a relationship between the 2 – trust on both parts, or lack of it in this case, is a big issue. Ever so slowly, we discover what has happened in Payne's life that has led to him being the man he is today.... This is truly an emotional roller coaster ride........
My heart broke for Payne, and I admit I shed a few tears (more than once!) I just kept hoping that things would work out right for him. He is such a troubled, dark and broken man....... but you get the impression that there is much more to him that will only be seen if he finds the right lady to trust and give his heart to!!
Elissa was sassy, funny, caring, big hearted and engaging.... she is a bit of a lost soul too I think, but we begin to understand what she's all about as the tale unfolds.
Bewitch is hotter and a fair bit darker than the previous books in the VET series have been. There's a whole lot of physical attraction between Payne & Elissa. The story also includes well handled, hot as hades, BDSM scenes. We encountered a lot of passion, suspense, a touch of humour and a lot of fabulous verbal interaction between the 2 characters – there's some great comments and more than a few tremendous one-liners....
I thoroughly enjoyed the previous books in the VET series and Payne's book was no exception.... but I honestly think it's better than the rest.... Felicity never fails to deliver and she has outdone herself with Bewitch.... I highly recommend the book and give it a 5* rating!!!

This is book 5 in the Vampire Erotic Theater Romance Series and I must admit that this is the first book that I have read in this series. I was worried that I may have had to read the others to get the story but this wasn't so, all it did was increase my interest and made me want to get to know the other characters who featured towards the end of the book.
This book is Payne's book. He is part vampire and part incubus, his incubus side able to bend people to fulfill his sexual desires. Payne has never accepted his incubus side, constantly struggling to keeping it at bay and thinks of himself as a vampire first. Payne is of course tall, lean and stunningly handsome he radiates danger and has an intensity about him. Payne is in the underground town looking for a witch he has heard may be able to help his vampire friends. She may hold the answers to a binding spell that is keeping Chicca his friend Andreu's mate bound to the club Vampirerotique, he has heard there is a ring which can bind the person wearing it to another person therefore allowing Chicca to leave the club. Desperate to help his friends he will do whatever it takes to get the ring.
Payne stumbles across and come to the rescue of Elissa a witch who is under attack. He soon comes to realize that her deceased sister is who he has been looking for. Elissa knows how to get Payne the ring and in return he has to help her recover something from the same person. They set off on a journey, were there is danger, personal truths uncovered and a burning, dangerous passion.
The thing I love about Felicity's books is that it's like watching a movie I can see it all playing out in my head as I'm reading, so me her books are always perfect escapism!!!
Payne, wow, what can i say. He is moody, dark, dangerous and tormented but he also has an emotional side and a sad back story to explain why he is the way he is. I loved Elissa, it's so nice to read a book where the leading lady is sure of herself, confident and kick ass. The chemistry between the two has H.O.T, especially the bedroom scenes, but it becomes more than that and you can see the closeness and intimacy develop between the two characters.
I can't wait to go back and enjoy the rest of the series :)

As readers we regularly say that we continue to read an author’s books because they always deliver. This statement is supported by the knowledge that not only does Felicity Heaton always deliver quality stories, but she draws the reader into her world and captures your heart.
After reading the first four novels in the Vampire Erotic Theatre Romance series, I doubted that the stories could improve beyond the 4-5 star rating I had already believed they deserved. I should have known better.
Bewitch starts with Payne on a mission to find a way to release Andreu’s mate from the bind that was inadvertently placed on her by Antione, and leaving her bound to Vampirerotique. Payne is in search of a witch, who he believes holds the answers to breaking this impenetrable bound.
Payne is unprepared however for the response both his Incubi and Vampire lineage has to his little witch and finds himself continually fighting the undeniable attraction and heightened desire he feels when he is in Elissa’s presence.
Elissa is drawn to Payne and initially thinks it is just a fascination to know what it will be like to taste forbidden fruit and have her way with his Incubus nature. She can also see the benefits in assisting Payne with his quest, which will procure his help in retrieving something taken from her and secreted away in the Incubus realm.
Elissa doesn’t realise however, that beneath his sculptured physique and gorgeous face lies a tortured soul with a history of suffering, hurt and betrayal that has left Payne believing that he is not only responsible for bringing pain to those around him, but that he is incapable of being loved for himself.
Can a witch who fears the repercussion of her coven should she yield to her base desires, have the strength to break through the barriers Payne has erected around his heart and soul, especially when Payne struggles with the belief that should he succumb to her allure he may be responsible for her death.
This is not just another Vampire story, so be prepared to have your anger piqued, your heart strings pulled and tissue on hand when the light is shed on the suffering endured by this Vamp with a heart of Gold.

This is the fifth book in the Vampire Erotic Theatre Series. I loved it!
Payne is a fascinating character. He is part vampire, part incubus. He hates his incubus side, so he tries his best to control it as much as possible. He is sexy and likes to be in control. When he meets Elissa, her beauty and spunk intrigues him.
Elissa is a witch, but also a woman with a mission. She needs Payne's help though. She is extremely stubborn, but when she meets Payne, her curiosity and desire gets the better of her.
This is a fantastic continuation of the series. I loved the flow of the story. Payne and Elissa's mutual attraction could almost set the place on fire! To say that Payne has a bit of emotional baggage is like saying the Atlantic Ocean is a lake. However, as his story unfolded, I got to see something that I think he didn't know he was letting slip - his vulnerability. This made me want to hug him, but I think Elissa would have had something to say about that! I think they make a great couple, as his weakness is her strength and visa versa. The ending was bitter sweet for me, as I know that there will only be one more book in the series. However, I'm eagerly awaiting it too, as it is Snow's story (Unleash). I've been wanting to hear his story from when he was introduced in the first book. Please note that this book is for adults only (18+), as it is extremely explicit and erotic. There is also light BDSM, dominance and submission themes.
Felicity Heaton has written a fantastic erotic romance series that is already steamy and turns up the heat to boiling! She is number one on my favourite erotic romance author list. I love all her stories (the one's I've read so far!), and will continue to read them so long as she writes them! First and foremost another 5 star winner for Felicity in the VET series with this latest installment! I've loved every other book in the series, and this is without a doubt no exception to this rule.
Now to the deliciousness that is Payne...
He is a half breed Vampire / Incabus with a soul wrenching past and because of this past, he is filled with endless darkness and pain and is a man who does not like to be touched. He's volatile and aggressive with a nasty temper and also straight up one of the sexiest fictional characters on the page! His charming seductive nature is everything that Elissa wants....
"Mother earth he was gorgeous - forbidden....She knew the rules...Incubi were demons and demons were a big no no for a witch....She wouldn't break the rules with him..."
Elissa is the sister of Verity, the witch Payne has been seeking in order to help his friend Chica back at the club. At first glance Elissa appears fragile and petite but she is a feisty, strong willed woman who knows what she wants...
1. Payne's help to aid her in getting back something that was taken from her and..
2. Payne himself.
Elissa offers Payne a night of passion, to help him gain control of his Incubus side, which will in turn help them both..
She asks him to.. "Submit to me"
Crap on a cracker this book is a beyond hot! Full of passion not just between the sheets, but the writing unfolding Payne's painful past entwining Elissa's journey as she helps Payne she puts herself in danger with the possibility of paying the highest price in return.
The humor is delicately laced in fitting situations encompassing the importance of family even for those who feel they don't belong and I was engrossed in the whole story feeling like I was in the room, not just reading a book.
This is my new fave book in the series which is firmly on my re-read list and I wait with bated breath for the next in the series!

I had the pleasure to review an ARC copy from the author, and having read the previous 4 books in the serious I was happy to get my hands on this newest addition.
All of the previous books have the background of the theater, but I was happy that the author decided to take the main character, Payne, to a different locale to tell his story. Payne embarks on a journey in the beginning of this story to help his friends, but ends up taking a journey that leads to discovering a path to his own acceptance. This journey is not taken alone. He is joined by the witch, Elissa, who turns out to be his mate, and destroys all his control. Payne has kept a secret, and control over the exact nature of what he is for years, until he meets the ‘bewitching” Elissa. She allows him to accept himself by her utter acceptance of whom and what he is from how he makes her feel.
I will have to say that this was my favorite book of the series so far, and I loved the chemistry between Elissa and Payne. The fact Payne was a half incubus, half vampire made the scenes between them throb with sensuality and heat. Payne’s tortured past plays heavily in his actions and his strong desire to protect everyone from his incubus side. Elissa has a promise to keep and realizes she needs Payne’s help to fulfill her mission. What starts as two individuals working together on a common journey, turns into two people facing their pasts and making a future with the new truth’s they find inside and out.
I encourage anyone to read the VET series for its unique ideas and sexy characters. If you already a fan, then you will love this newest addition and the explosive chemistry that develops as well the path that brings them together.

Felicity E. Heaton put a spell on me. I could not put this book down. From the very first page I was hooked until the last page. I have been waiting to learn about Payne from the moment he was introduced to us in Seduce .
Payne is one of the newer vampires to the Theatre. There is lots of mystery around him and his past. He sets out to help his fellow vamp family venturing into the fae world looking for a specific witch that might be able to help. I liked that we moved outside the Theatre and into the supernatural world. Payne eventually finds Elissa who is in need of help. She knows where to find what he needs for his friends. Elissa is perfect for Payne. I enjoy when the characters complement each other, help each other over come issues and grow into a meningful relationship. Both of them get something unexpected from their bargain and we are taken into a sexy tale immersed in healing and discovery.
Bewitch has a little light BDSM. I enjoyed the journey Payne and Elissa go on and by the end they both find what they need in each other. It is a sweet emotional love story full of sexual tension and sexual release. Ms. Heaton never fails to deliver in the heat deparment. I just loved both Payne and Elissa. They are my favorite couple in this series so far.

Thinking on how to rate this book, and my head hurting (smiles). I had read some of the reviews, a lot of them stated that it could be a stand alone but best if read with the other. So I had my mind made up on how I was going to rate it ( I hadnt read any of the books in this series yet). At first I missed not having a back story on Payne (book 4 I think), but once getting into it his back story wasnt really missed. The chemistry between Elisa and Payne was amazing, their play by and their emotions. Almost as if you could feel each emotion they felt coming off the pages.
Payne is named for what he went through most of his life, a half breed vamp/incubus that his family turned on him. Elisa a witch looking for a prize that, Payne will be able to help her find. Elisa hatches a plan that if she can get Payne in touch with his incubus side they would have the “key” to what they both need.
From past experiences Payne knows just how dangerous it will be giving into his nature a nature that he has come to hate and regret. A nature that he works very hard at keeping locked down, then here comes this littl witch of a woman and she turns him inside of himself. Elisa pushes and pushes Payne, not only with what she thinks she can control, but the very side of him he is afraid of unleashing.
Amazing story I loved it, I was mad, upset, in love and struggle for both the heartache and pain both Elisa and Payne was going through, I wanted to fight right along with them. At the end of the story I didnt have a problem rating it a solid 5. Enjoy

Helllllllo, Payne. Man, tortured heroes just do it for me. There's something about a guy who's damaged yet willing to unburden himself if the right person comes along that pushes all my buttons. And Payne? Oh, he has that tortured part down. He's been ill treated for something that he had ZERO control over. The guilt he's been carrying around is an anchor he can't escape from. Now, the girl he finds himself falling for has a really good reason for needing to stay out of his bed, is hiding a fairly substantial secret, and needs him to use incubus abilities he hates to get what she's after. Poor guy can't catch a break, can he?

Unconventional family themes always make me smile.
Payne and Elissa were wonderfully fun and I am SO looking forward to the next story.

Bewitch, the 5th installment to +Felicity Heaton's super hot series, follows the delectable Payne. Once again, the author manages to keep each story fresh by offering a new angle, new characters whilst also integrating past vampires and their mates that we lust after.
The story of Payne and Elissa reaches a new level of heat, this is with the inclusion of light BDSM. The inclusion is absolutely paramount to the intriguing Payne, who is so damaged and delicate, despite his hardened exterior.
The heat created between the two characters is almost palpable. This, teamed with an exciting storyline, continues to successfully drive Felicity Heaton's series forward.
The author skillfully weaves her characters together into a story that was fast-paced and filled with surprises. Her ability to develop strong narratives, with beautifully crafted one-liners, forever impresses me. Her creation of two powerful characters in Bewitch is impressive.
Whilst this is not my favourite in the series, I was absorbed throughout, and audible cheered on the sidelines for the two wonderful protagonists in Bewitch.

This series just keeps getting better and better. Felicity has delivered a flawless story full of emotion and intensity that leaves you yearning for more.
We are finally taken on the journey of Payne and what a journey it is. A heartbreaking and painful past comes to the surface while on the hunt for a way to help his friends break a curse. Elissa brings Payne to life by bringing his Incubus side alive through heated passion and an undeniable connection. The heated scenes between Payne and Elissa are goosebump worthy and will leave you seriously antsy and flushed.
The erotic scenes aren't the only intense parts in the book. The depth that goes into the characters emotions is phenomenal. There is a rawness to it that really tapped into my humanity and pulled on my heart-strings. I felt a sense of pity for Payne (which I know he would hate) and a longing for him to feel like he deserved to be loved. That is why this book gets my 5 Sassy Books rating. The connection between a reader and the characters is so important and Felicity has succeeded in making it easy to establish that connection.
If you haven't read all of the books in this series that's fine. It is possible to read this as a stand-alone book, but I must warn you, once you read this you will want to go and read the rest.

It's about a vampire with a past stained with blood and a soul tainted with darkness and a beautiful witch in the shadowy fae Underworld threatens to reawaken long denied hungers and tempts him with carnal pleasure.
I loved this series more than the others... actually, I loved them all but this fifth series was more exciting and more intense than the previous series. I loved Payne now more than ever! my heart ache to him but fell in love at the same time... I loved Elissa as well! She was cheeky and beautiful little witch. They are meant to be together... forever!!!

The writing genius Felicity Heaton delivers in Bewitch which is the fifth installment in her very sexy Vampire Erotic Theatre Series, and let me just say it's just as hot.
With both Payne and Elissa seeking to keep promises, while fighting their craving for one another helps set up this hot and steamy, yet emotional bond between the pair that not only drew me into their world, but held me spell bound to the end.
The raw intense passion of Payne was not only shocking, but so sensual it only added to his sexiness and appeal, added with Elissa unwavering determination and unconditional love this book will have you under its spell.

Another great character of the Vampire Erotic Theatre series comes to light.
On a mission to help his friends and the only people he can truly call family, Payne discovers that absolution and happiness could be within his grasp if only he can bring himself to accept it.
The author once again does not disappoint with a well thought plot and lots of sexy scenes.
Although I have to say I missed the plot being set within the theatre (with the hot performances as background!!!) it was a nice change of scenery being outside and in a completely different environment.

This books starts off with bang and leaves with a very content feeling. It is action packed and very steamy. The characters are easy to like and the story line stays true all the way through. The hero Payne, thinks himself an abomination due to his part Vampire part Incubus lineage and the heroine Elissa, is a witch who is still learning her powers. Together they discover that they can help in each other in looking for what they both desire, and discover that what they desire most is each other. A definite must read and an author that is definitely worth putting on your favorite list!

The synopsis really tells the plot. What is nice about this book is that although the smex happens quickly (but then what do you expect from an incubus?) the relationship takes some time and they reveal to each other things that both of them have hidden from others. By the end of this novella I was smiling and even though there is a lot of smex, there is a tender moment here and there as well. I give this novella 4 stars and it is book 5 in the Vampire Erotic Theatre books. These books seem to have interesting characters and not just smex. :)

Payne and Elissa are too awesome for words. I loved loved loved these two and their journey. The storyline had me going right away, and the struggles Payne had over his identity kept me totally involved with things. Our boy didn't have an easy life, and that makes his journey to love a little more interesting. Elissa is well developed and a good match for him. I liked this one a lot, and Payne makes a surprise appearance in an EM book, making me remember just how great he is. I definitely recommend reading this one.

I just finished this book about 3 this morning, it was that good. I couldnt put it down because I had to find out what happened with Payne and Elissa. Once again I was sucked into the VET world and they wouldnt let me go.

Payne has set out on a mission to help find a way to free Varya(aka Chica) from the spell keeping her bound to the Vampirerotique club. His search takes him to an underground fae city, where he encounters an enticing witch that he recognizes as his mate.
The witch (Elissa) says she knows of a ring powerful enough to override any spell, but it will still bind her to another person (her mate, Andreu). He agrees that is better than the current circumstances so he asks for her help getting it. She agrees, but he has to help her retrieve something too.
Along the way, the two grow closer and become entangled together in all possible ways.

This was okay. A little boring and slow paced, but okay.
I was very glad that this continued with wrapping up the plot from Enslave (Andreu and Varya's book) because it felt incomplete. So I was glad for that! So happy to see a better resolution to Varya being trapped at the club all the time.
I liked Payne and Elissa together. They were pretty cute. I was hoping for him to be more dominant though instead of going the whole femdomme route where she is in charge of him in the bedroom. It was hot at times, but not my favorite dynamic.
The plot with the fae city and traveling to the incubus mansion was interesting, but just felt too slow paced. It was a lot of waiting around for the next thing to happen.
Overall it was just okay. I was hoping for more from Payne's book, but it also wasn't bad either. I do hope the final book about Snow lives up to my expectations since he is the most interesting and powerful of all the characters so far. We will see!
