বাংলাদেশে স্বৈরতন্ত্রের জন্ম
১৯৭৫ সালের ১৫ আগস্ট বঙ্গবন্ধুকে সপরিবারে হত্যার পর জন্ম নেয় আইয়ুব-ইয়াহিয়ার পদাঙ্ক অনুসরণে দেশ শাসনের স্বৈরতান্ত্রিক প্রক্রিয়া।
যে গণতান্ত্রিক শাসন ব্যবস্থার জন্য এদেশের মানুষ স্বাধীনতা এনেছে, ত্রিশ লক্ষ মানুষ শহীদ হয়েছে, দু লক্ষ মা-বোন সম্ভ্রম দিয়েছে, সেই স্বাধীনতার মূল্যবোধ নস্যাৎ করে জন্ম দেয়া হয় স্বৈরতন্ত্রের।
সামরিক শাসন জারি করে গণতন্ত্রকে কবর দিয়ে বাংলার মানুষকে আইয়ুবী কায়দায় শাসন ও শোষণ করা শুরু হয়।
লাখো শহীদের আত্মদানে অর্জিত স্বাধীন বাংলাদেশে স্বৈরতন্ত্রের জন্ম বৃত্তান্ত নিয়েই লেখা হয়েছে এই গ্রন্থটি।
