What's good about it:
Beginner text and bold, simple illustrations help young cat lovers appreciate the everyday fun and responsibility of caring for a cat. Some cat care activities are fun (playing with interactive cat toys) and others are definitely not (scooping litter boxes), but all are necessary for kitty's well-being.
What's not so good:
We really need to get away from normalizing allowing pet cats to roam unsupervised outdoors. The outdoors is full of hazards for domestic cats, cutting many beloved pets' lives short long before their time, and creating tragedy and trauma for their caretakers.
