Many times with an anthology, you get a couple great ones, a few good ones, and then the rest you maybe read, maybe not. That is so not the case with this anthology. I thoroughly enjoyed each story, and actually bought more works from 2 of the authors already. The Frayed Line by Veronica Sloane was an original take on what a tattoo can do. The Sinner's Star by Elizabeth Brooks grabbed me by the throat and didn't let go - I couldn't breath but it was all right by me. Come Fly With Me by Katherine Halle was a sweet, short story that made me really like the main characters. Dragon by D.K. Jernigan was intriguing and intense. Secrets by Mychael Black had a sweet twist at the end, so it came out just right. Pounding Skin by Emily Moreton had a unique take on the experience of getting a tattoo, at least from my limited reading experience. Simple Instruction by Zoe Trope & Brendan Atkins had a different pace or rhythym to it, but it didn't take away from enjoying the story. And Tramp Stamp by Julia Talbot and BA Tortuga was another that grabbed me and didn't let go - not that I wanted it to at all. I highly recommend this collection.
