On Display
A year after being dumped by her fiancée on her wedding day,
brokenhearted Rachelle James has started to move forward with her
life. She consumes herself in work and has a mutual rebound
relationship to ease her loneliness. When her younger sister Gina and
her friend, Aubrey don’t include her whenever they go out, she begins
to wonder why and demands to know what’s going on. When they bring her

Story: FAIRLY GOOD

Every reader is different, read the sample and maybe you will like it. For my personal taste and what I know I like, I did not connect with the character of this story. I think for me personally, the reason I didn't connect, Rachelle. This story had good ingredients and an alluring club to set the pages on fire. However, Rachelle, her character was iffy for me. Rachelle was dumped by her fiance on her wedding day, she lives a pretty normal and routine life and her highlight of sex is missionary position. So on a particular night, her sister and friend takes her to Club Lux, which is a world full of BDSM with Master and submissive. Upon entering this club, Rachelle is clueless about this world.
This is where my interest falter. The engaging fantasy was ruined for me because Rachelle seems to know what to do or say most of the time without being told. I thought to myself, she is suppose to be shy and clueless but far from it. She seem to know what she was doing most of the time particularly in the beginning. It seems she was just learning the names and more about club Lux than the act of BDSM. To some no big deal and that's ok, but for me the appeal and fantasy of the concept was broken for me. I liked Lucan's character he has a past and has been guarded since his break up of his last sub. He was taken by Rachelle, and once they both entered this world, it opens Rachelle's eye.
Again, the story was ok for me, but the character became involved too quickly and I had no time to enjoy her learning experience because she seem to know a great deal already, so the innocence of the BDSM world for Rachelle got lost for me. Apart from that a nice read.

★★★ EROTIC PARADISE STARS
Club Lux is an exclusive members only club that tailors to all sorts of sexual fantasies. Lucan Dicic or Master Lucan is the owner and with the help of his two brothers operates the Club named after his former slave of six years Luxur.
Rachelle James lives a pretty mundane life, having been dumped at the alter a year ago she doesn't do much except spend her days working at Dawson's Assisted Living Facility as a Recreation Coordinator and her evening's playing Bingo at the same place with the residents. Needless to say her sex life is severely lacking and the most action she's had since being dumped has been a former acquaintance from college and even that has most recently ended. Noting that her sister Gina and their mutual friend Aubrey have been going out quite frequently she decides to crash their twosome and find out what they've been up to. Disclosing their secret they introduce vanilla Rachelle to the world of Masters and Slaves, Doms and Submissive's.
For me this is where it became a little bit too much and even though I read through and had interest in the hero and heroine and the outcome of their story the actual Club aspect and some of the scenes or some of the terms used within the club just were not my cup of tea. Having said that I feel like I should clarify a bit, the BDSM in this book was not new and isn't anything that hasn't been read before by readers that enjoy the genre. But I also feel like it should be mentioned that within the walls of Club Lux some of the scenes that you will encounter are menage's, scenes that include MMF, and without giving too much away it's a sexual taboo paradise (take that as you will) but for some I feel that it's important that be mentioned. On the flip side even though I though Rachelle embraced the Club Lux life rather quickly, I liked that she had her limits or boundaries that she wouldn't cross.
My overall thoughts are that this was a well written book that gives insight into a world unseen and takes the reader on a risque journey that they may otherwise never dare to go. Every book is different, and everyone's tastes vary and for me the downfall was I had a hard time immersing myself in their fantasy oasis and therefore had difficulty relating to the lifestyle lived behind the doors of Club Lux. I would recommend On Display for anyone who is comfortable with the genre but would not recommend to someone looking to experience it for the first time.

Read the blurb and bought without reading the sample. The premise of a less than perfect individual finding what she was looking for sounded promising... Unfortunately, the book was so disjointed, really lacked character development.
Book starts out with the h feeling left out when her sister and friend keep going out without her -- she confronts them after she's done with work and they load her up in the car and take her to a club where she has no clue, rolls her eyes about another couple and suddenly ends up on stage doing a scene with a stranger.... Author kept dropping names and jumping from person to person, scene to scene, adding more and more characters, more and more subplots.... Was so difficult keeping track of characters -- there were way to many names, each with their own issues... Kept waiting for the book to get better and it didn't.
I struggled to finish the book and just kept skipping pages.

This book has a refreshing Main character- Rachelle is in her 30's and is NOT perfect! she has a big butt and even cellulite which of course just made me Love her!
Lots of hot steamy raunchy sensual sex.
Mild BDSM nothing crazy that you haven't read before.
Pretty good ending. I also feel another story brewing about Thomas.
